1 Zinariya ta rasa kyanta, hasken zinariya ya dushe! An warwatsar da tsarkakakkun duwatsu masu daraja a kan tituna.
ALEPH. How will the gold be tarnished, [and] the fine silver changed! the sacred stones have been poured forth at the top of all the streets.
2 Dubi samarin Sihiyona masu daraja, waɗanda a dā darajarsu ta isa nauyin zinariya, yanzu ana ɗaukar su a matsayin tukwanen ƙasa, aikin maginin tukwane!
BETH. The precious sons of Zion, who were equalled in value with gold, how are they counted as earthen vessels, the works of the hands of the potter!
3 Ko diloli suna ba’ya’yansu nono su sha, amma mutanena sun zama marasa zuciya kamar jiminai a cikin jeji.
GIMEL. Nay, serpents have drawn out the breasts, they give suck to their young, the daughters of my people are incurably cruel, as an ostrich in a desert.
4 Domin ƙishirwa harshen jarirai ya manne a rufin bakinsu; yaran suna roƙo a ba su burodi, amma ba wanda ya ba su.
DALETH. The tongue of the sucking child cleaves to the roof of its mouth for thirst: the little children ask for bread, [and] there is none to break [it] to them.
5 Waɗanda a dā sukan ci abinci mai daɗi yanzu su ne masu bara a tituna. Waɗanda a dā suke sa kaya masu kyau yanzu suna kwance a kan tarin toka.
HE. They that feed on dainties are desolate in the streets: they that used to be nursed in scarlet have clothed themselves with dung.
6 Horon mutanena ya fi na Sodom girma, wadda aka hallaka farat ɗaya ba wani hannu da ya juya ya taimake ta.
VAU. And the iniquity of the daughter of my people has been increased beyond the iniquities of Sodoma, [the city] that was overthrown very suddenly, and none laboured against her [with their] hands.
7 ’Ya’yan sarakunansu sun fi ƙanƙara haske sun kuma fi madara fari, jikunansu sun fi murjani ja, kyansu kamar shuɗin yakutu.
ZAIN. Her Nazarites were made purer than snow, they were whiter than milk, they were purified [as] with fire, their polishing was superior to sapphire stone.
8 Amma yanzu sun fi dare duhu; ba a iya gane su a tituna. Fatar jikinsu ta manne da ƙasusuwansu; sun bushe kamar itace.
HETH. Their countenance is become blacker than smoke; they are not known in the streets: their skin has cleaved to their bones; they are withered, they are become as a stick.
9 Gara waɗanda aka kashe su da takobi da waɗanda suke mutuwa da yunwa; sun rame domin rashin abinci a gona.
TETH. The slain with the sword were better than they that were slain with hunger: they have departed, pierced through from [lack of] the fruits of the field.
10 Da hannuwansu mata masu tausayi sun dafa yaransu, suka zama masu abinci sa’ad da aka hallaka mutanena.
JOD. The hands of tender-hearted women have sodden their own children: they became meat for them in the destruction of the daughter of my people.
11 Ubangiji ya saki fushinsa; ya zuba zafin fushinsa. Ya hura wuta a Sihiyona ta kuma cinye harsashin gininta.
CHAPH. The Lord has accomplished his wrath; he has poured out fierce anger, and has kindled a fire in Sion, and it has devoured her foundations.
12 Sarakunan duniya ba su gaskata ba, haka ma mutanen duniya, cewa magabta da maƙiya za su iya shiga ƙofofin Urushalima.
LAMED. The kings of the earth, [even] all that dwell in the world, believed not that an enemy and oppressor would enter through the gates of Jerusalem.
13 Amma ya faru domin zunuban annabawanta da muguntar firistocinta, waɗanda suka zub da jinin masu adalci a cikinsu.
MEM. For the sins of her prophets, [and] iniquities of her priests, who shed righteous blood in the midst of her,
14 Yanzu suna yawo barkatai a tituna kamar makafi. Sun ƙazantu da jini yadda ba wanda zai kuskura ya taɓa rigunansu.
NUN. her watchmen staggered in the streets, they were defiled with blood in their weakness, they touched their raiment [with it].
15 “Ku tafi! Ba ku da tsabta!” Haka mutane suke ihu suke ce musu. “Ku tashi daga nan! Ku tashi daga nan! Kada ku taɓa mu!” Sa’ad da suka gudu suna yawo, mutanen waɗansu ƙasashe suka ce, “Ba za su ci gaba da zama a nan ba.”
SAMECH. Depart you from the unclean ones: call you them: depart, depart, touch [them] not: for they are on fire, yes, they stagger: say you among the nations, They shall no more sojourn [there].
16 Ubangiji kansa ya warwatsa su; ya daina duban su. Ba a ba firistoci girma, ba su ba dattawa gata.
AIN. The presence of the Lord [was] their portion; [but] he will not again look upon them: they regarded not the person of the priests, they pitied not the prophets.
17 Idanunmu sun gaji, suna ta dubawa ko taimako zai zo; mu sa ido ko za mu ga ƙasar da za tă iya taimakon mu.
PHE. While we yet lived our eyes failed, while we looked in vain for our help. TSADE. We looked to a nation that could not save.
18 Ana bin sawunmu, ba za mu iya tafiya kan tituna ba. Ƙarshenmu ya kusa, kwanakinmu sun ƙare, gama ƙarshenmu ya zo.
We have hunted [for] our little ones, that they should not walk in our streets. KOPH. Our time has drawn near, our days are fulfilled, our time is come.
19 Masu fafarar mu sun fi gaggafa mai firiya a sararin sama sauri; sun fafare mu a kan duwatsu suna fakon mu a jeji.
Our pursuers were swifter than the eagles of the sky, they flew on the mountains, in the wilderness they laid wait for us.
20 Shafaffe na Ubangiji, numfashin ranmu, ya fāɗi cikin tarkonsu. Muna tunani cewa za mu iya rayuwa cikin sauran mutane a ƙarƙashin inuwarsa.
RECHS. The breath of our nostrils, [our] anointed Lord, was taken in their destructive snares, of whom we said, In his shadow we shall live among the Gentiles.
21 Ku yi murna da farin ciki, ya Diyar Edom, ke mai zama a ƙasar Uz. Amma ke ma za a ba ki kwaf; za ki bugu ki zama tsirara.
CHSEN. Rejoice and be glad, O daughter of Idumea, that dwell in the land: yet the cup of the Lord shall pass through to you: you shall be drunken, and pour forth.
22 Ya Diyar Sihiyona, hukuncinki zai ƙare; ba zai sa zaman bautarki yă yi tsayi ba. Amma ya Diyar Edom, zai hukunta zunubinki yă tona tsiraicinki.
THAU. O daughter of Sion, your iniquity has come to an end; he shall no more carry you captive: he has visited your iniquities, O daughter of Edom; he has discovered your sins.
