< Mahukunta 5 >
1 A wannan rana ce Debora da Barak ɗan Abinowam suka rera wannan waƙa.
Then sang Deborah and Barak the son of Abinoam on that day, saying,
Praise ye the LORD for the avenging of Israel, when the people willingly offered themselves.
3 “Ya sarakuna, ku ji! Ku saurara, ku masu mulki! Zan yi waƙa ga Ubangiji, zan yi waƙa; zan yi kaɗe-kaɗe ga Ubangiji, Allah na Isra’ila.
Hear, O ye kings; give ear, O ye princes; I, even I, will sing to the LORD; I will sing praise to the LORD God of Israel.
LORD, when thou wentest out of Seir, when thou didst march out of the field of Edom, the earth trembled, and the heavens poured, the clouds also poured water.
5 Duwatsu suka girgizu a gaban Ubangiji, Wannan na Sinai, a gaban Ubangiji, Allah na Isra’ila.
The mountains melted from before the LORD, even that Sinai from before the LORD God of Israel.
6 “A zamanin Shamgar ɗan Anat, a zamanin Yayel, an yashe dukan hanyoyi; matafiye suka bi hanyoyin da suka yi kona-kona.
In the days of Shamgar the son of Anath, in the days of Jael, the highways were unoccupied, and the travellers walked through byways.
7 Rayuwar ƙauye a Isra’ila ta daina, ta daina sai da ni, Debora, na taso, na taso mahaifiya a Isra’ila.
The inhabitants of the villages ceased, they ceased in Israel, until that I Deborah arose, that I arose a mother in Israel.
8 Sa’ad da suka zaɓi sababbin alloli, sai ga yaƙi a ƙofofin birnin, ba a kuwa ga garkuwa ko māshi a cikin mutum dubu arba’in a Isra’ila ba.
They chose new gods; then was war in the gates: was there a shield or spear seen among forty thousand in Israel?
My heart is toward the governors of Israel, that offered themselves willingly among the people. Bless ye the LORD.
10 “Ku da kuke hawan fararen jakuna, kuna zama a sirdin barguna, da ku da kuke tafiya a kan hanya, ku kula
Speak, ye that ride on white donkeys, ye that sit in judgment, and walk by the way.
11 da muryoyin mawaƙa a wuraren ruwaye. Suna faɗi ayyukan adalcin Ubangiji, ayyukan adalcin mayaƙansa a Isra’ila. “Sa’an nan mutanen Ubangiji suka gangara zuwa ƙofofin birni.
They that are delivered from the noise of archers in the places of drawing water, there shall they rehearse the righteous acts of the LORD, even the righteous acts toward the inhabitants of his villages in Israel: then shall the people of the LORD go down to the gates.
Ka ta sa kamammunka gaba, ya ɗan Abinowam.’
Awake, awake, Deborah: awake, awake, utter a song: arise, Barak, and lead thy captivity captive, thou son of Abinoam.
13 “Sa’an nan waɗanda aka bari suka sauko zuwa wajen shugabanni; mutane na Ubangiji suka zo wurina tare da masu ƙarfi.
Then he made him that remaineth have dominion over the nobles among the people: the LORD made me have dominion over the mighty.
Out of Ephraim was there a root of them against Amalek; after thee, Benjamin, among thy people; out of Machir came down governors, and out of Zebulun they that handle the pen of the writer.
15 ’Ya’yan sarautar Issakar suna tare da Debora; I, Issakar yana tare da Barak, yana binsa a guje zuwa kwari. A yankunan Ruben aka kuma bincike zuciya sosai.
And the princes of Issachar were with Deborah; even Issachar, and also Barak: he was sent on foot into the valley. For the divisions of Reuben there were great thoughts of heart.
16 Don me kuka tsaya a wutar sansani don ku ji makiyaya suna kiran garkuna? A yankunan Ruben aka yi bincike zuciya sosai.
Why abodest thou among the sheepfolds, to hear the bleatings of the flocks? For the divisions of Reuben there were great searchings of heart.
17 Gileyad ya tsaya gaban Urdun. Kai kuma Dan, don me ka ka yi ta zama a wajen jiragen ruwa? Asher ya ci gaba da kasance a bakin teku ya kasance a wuraren zamansa.
Gilead abode beyond Jordan: and why did Dan remain in ships? Asher continued on the sea shore, and abode in his inlets.
Zebulun and Naphtali were a people that jeoparded their lives to death in the high places of the field.
19 “Sarakuna suka zo, suka yi yaƙi; sarakunan Kan’ana sun yi yaƙi a Ta’anak a gefen ruwan Megiddo, amma ba su ɗauki azurfa, ko ganima ba.
The kings came and fought, then fought the kings of Canaan in Taanach by the waters of Megiddo; they took no gain of money.
20 Daga sama taurari suka yi faɗa, daga bakin tekuna suka yi yaƙi da Sisera.
They fought from heaven; the stars in their courses fought against Sisera.
The river of Kishon swept them away, that ancient river, the river Kishon. O my soul, thou hast trodden down strength.
22 Sa’an nan kofatan dawakai suka ƙwaƙula, suna sukuwa, haka dawakansa masu ƙarfi suke tafiya.
Then were the horsehoofs broken by the means of the pransings, the pransings of their mighty ones.
Curse ye Meroz, said the angel of the LORD, curse ye bitterly its inhabitants; because they came not to the help of the LORD, to the help of the LORD against the mighty.
24 “Mafi albarka a ciki mata ta zama Yayel matar Heber Bakene, mafi albarka na mata masu zama a alfarma.
Blessed above women shall Jael the wife of Heber the Kenite be, blessed shall she be above women in the tent.
He asked water, and she gave him milk; she brought forth butter in a lordly dish.
Ta bugi Sisera, ta ragargaza kansa, ta ragargaza ta huda kunnensa.
She put her hand to the nail, and her right hand to the workmen’s hammer; and with the hammer she smote Sisera, she smote off his head, when she had pierced and struck through his temples.
27 A ƙafafunta ya fāɗi, ya fāɗi; a can ya kwanta. A ƙafafunta ya fāɗi, ya fāɗi; a can ya fāɗi, matacce.
At her feet he bowed, he fell, he lay down: at her feet he bowed, he fell: where he bowed, there he fell down dead.
The mother of Sisera looked out at a window, and cried through the lattice, Why is his chariot so long in coming? why tarry the wheels of his chariots?
29 Mafi hikima cikin’yan matanta suka amsa mata, tabbatacce, ta ci gaba ta ce wa kanta,
Her wise ladies answered her, yea, she returned answer to herself,
30 ‘Ba nema suke su raba ganima ba, yarinya guda ko biyu wa kowane mutum, riguna masu launi a matsayin ganima don Sisera, riguna masu ado, riguna masu ado sosai don wuyata, dukan wannan a matsayin ganima?’
Have they not found? have they not divided the spoil; to every man a damsel or two; to Sisera a spoil of dyed garments, a spoil of dyed garments of needlework, of dyed garments of needlework on both sides, for the necks of them that take the spoil?
Sa’an nan ƙasar ta sami zaman lafiya shekara arba’in.
So let all thy enemies perish, O LORD: but let them that love him be as the sun when he goeth forth in his might. And the land had rest forty years.
