1 Bayan zamanin Abimelek, sai Tola ɗan Fuwa ɗan Dodo daga Issakar ya tashi don yă ceci Isra’ila. Yana zama a Shamir a ƙasar tudu ta Efraim.
After Abimelech there arose to defend Israel, Tola, the sonne of Puah, the sone of Dodo, a man of Issachar, which dwelt in Shamir in mount Ephraim.
2 Ya shugabanci Isra’ila shekara ashirin da uku sa’an nan ya mutu, aka kuma binne shi a Shamir.
And he iudged Israel three and twentie yeere and dyed, and was buried in Shamir.
3 Bayansa kuma sai Yayir daga Gileyad, wanda ya shugabanci Isra’ila shekara ashirin da biyu.
And after him arose Iair a Gileadite, and iudged Israel two and twenty yeere.
4 Yana’ya’ya talatin, waɗanda suke hawan jakuna talatin. Sun shugabanci birane talatin a Gileyad, har wa yau ana ce da biranen Hawwot Yayir.
And he had thirtie sonnes that rode on thirtie assecolts, and they had thirtie cities, which are called Hauoth-Iair vnto this day, and are in the land of Gilead.
5 Sa’ad da Yayir ya mutu, sai aka binne shi a Kamon.
And Iair dyed, and was buried in Kamon.
6 Isra’ilawa suka sāke yin mugayen ayyuka a gaban Ubangiji. Suka shiga bautar Ba’al da Ashtarot, da kuma allolin Aram, allolin Sidon, allolin Mowab, Ammonawa da kuma allolin Filistiyawa. Kuma domin Isra’ilawa sun bar Ubangiji ba su ƙara bauta masa ba,
And the children of Israel wrought wickednesse againe in the sight of the Lord, and serued Baalim and Ashtaroth, and the gods of Aram, and the gods of Zidon, and the gods of Moab, and the gods of the children of Ammon, and the gods of the Philistims, and forsooke the Lord and serued not him.
7 sai ya fusata da su. Ya sayar da su ga hannun Filistiyawa da Ammonawa,
Therefore the wrath of the Lord was kindled against Israel, and he solde them into the hands of the Philistims, and into the handes of the children of Ammon:
8 waɗanda suka fatattake su a shekarar suka kuma ragargaza su. Shekara goma sha takwas suka yi ta danne dukan Isra’ilawan da suke gabashin Urdun a Gileyad, ƙasar Amoriyawa.
Who from that yere vexed and oppressed the children of Israel eighteene yeres, euen all the children of Israel that were beyond Iorden, in the land of the Amorites, which is in Gilead.
9 Ammonawa su ma suka haye Urdun domin su yi yaƙi da Yahuda, Benyamin da kuma gidan Efraim; Isra’ila kuwa suka kasance cikin wahala ƙwarai da gaske.
Moreouer, the children of Ammon went ouer Iorden to fight against Iudah, and against Beniamin, and against the house of Ephraim: so that Israel was sore tormented.
10 Sa’an nan Isra’ilawa suka yi kuka ga Ubangiji, suka ce, “Mun yi maka zunubi, mun bar Allahnmu muka shiga bautar Ba’al.”
Then the children of Israel cryed vnto the Lord, saying, We haue sinned against thee, euen because we haue forsaken our owne God, and haue serued Baalim.
11 Ubangiji ya ce, “Sa’ad da Masarawa, Amoriyawa, Ammonawa, Filistiyawa,
And the Lord sayd vnto the children of Israel, Did not I deliuer you from the Egyptians and from the Amorites, from the children of Ammon and from the Philistims?
12 Sidoniyawa, Amalekawa da kuma mutanen Mawon suka wulaƙanta ku kuka kuwa yi mini kuka, ban cece ku daga hannunsu ba?
The Zidonians also, and the Amalekites, and the Maonites did oppresse you, and ye cryed to me and I saued you out of their hands.
13 Amma kuka bar ni kuka bauta wa waɗansu alloli, saboda haka ni ma ba zan ƙara cece ku ba.
Yet ye haue forsaken me, and serued other gods: wherefore I will deliuer you no more.
14 Ku tafi ku yi wa allolin da kuka zaɓa. Bari su cece ku sa’ad da kuke cikin wahala!”
Goe, and cry vnto the gods which ye haue chosen: let them saue you in the time of your tribulation.
15 Amma Isra’ilawa suka ce wa Ubangiji, “Mu dai mun yi zunubi. Ka yi da mu abin da ka ga dama, amma muna roƙonka ka cece mu a yanzu.”
And the children of Israel sayde vnto the Lord, We haue sinned: doe thou vnto vs whatsoeuer please thee: onely we pray thee to deliuer vs this day.
16 Sa’an nan suka zubar da allolin nan daga cikinsu suka bauta wa Ubangiji. Ubangiji kuwa bai ƙara daure da azabar da Isra’ila suke sha ba.
Then they put away the strange gods from among them and serued the Lord: and his soule was grieued for the miserie of Israel.
17 Sa’ad da aka kira Ammonawa su yi ɗamarar yaƙi, sai su kuma kafa sansani a Gileyad, Isra’ilawa kuwa suka tattaru suka kafa sansani Mizfa.
Then the children of Ammon gathered themselues together, and pitched in Gilead: and the children of Israel assembled themselues, and pitched in Mizpeh.
18 Shugabannin mutanen Gileyad suka cewa juna, “Duk wanda zai fara fāɗa wa Ammonawa shi zai zama shugaban duk waɗanda suke zama a Gileyad.”
And the people and princes of Gilead said one to another, Whosoeuer will beginne the battell against the children of Ammon, the same shall be head ouer all the inhabitants of Gilead.
