Yoshuwa 3
1 Kashegari Yoshuwa da dukan Isra’ilawa suka tashi daga Shittim suka nufi Urdun inda suka sauka kafin su haye.
And he rose early Joshua in the morning and they set out from Shittim and they came to the Jordan he and all [the] people Israel and they stayed there before they passed over.
2 Bayan kwana uku sai shugabannin suka zazzaga sansani, suna
And it was from [the] end of three days and they passed the officers in [the] midst of the camp.
3 ba da umarni ga mutane, suna cewa, “Lokacin da kuka ga akwatin alkawari na Ubangiji Allahnku, da firistoci waɗanda su ne Lawiyawa, suna ɗauke da shi, sai ku tashi daga inda kuke, ku bi shi.
And they commanded the people saying when see you [the] ark of [the] covenant of Yahweh God your and the priests the Levites carrying it and you you will set out from place your and you will go behind it.
4 A ta haka za ku san inda za ku bi, gama ba ku taɓa bin hanyar ba. Sai dai ku ɗan ba da rata wajen yadi ɗari tara tsakaninku da akwatin alkawari, kada ku kusace shi.”
Nevertheless - a distance it will be between you (and between it *Q(k)*) about two thousand cubit[s] by measurement may not you draw near to it so that that you may know the way which you will go in it for not you have passed in the way from yesterday three days ago.
5 Yoshuwa ya ce wa mutane, “Ku tsarkake kanku, gama gobe Ubangiji zai yi abubuwan al’ajabi a cikinku.”
And he said Joshua to the people consecrate yourselves for tomorrow he will do Yahweh in midst your wonders.
6 Yoshuwa ya ce wa firistoci, “Ku ɗauki akwatin alkawari ku sha gaba.” Sai suka ɗauki akwatin alkawari suka wuce gaban sauran jama’a.
And he said Joshua to the priests saying lift up [the] ark of the covenant and pass over before the people and they lifted up [the] ark of the covenant and they went before the people.
7 Ubangiji kuwa ya ce wa Yoshuwa, “Yau, zan fara ɗaukaka ka a gaban Isra’ilawa duka don su sani cewa ina tare da kai kamar yadda na kasance tare da Musa.
And he said Yahweh to Joshua the day this I will begin to make great you in [the] eyes of all Israel that they will know! that just as I was with Moses I will be with you.
8 Ka ce wa firistoci waɗanda suke ɗauke da akwatin alkawari, ‘Sa’ad da kuka kai bakin Urdun, ku shiga cikin ruwan ku tsaya.’”
And you you will command the priests [the] bearers of [the] ark of the covenant saying when come you to [the] edge of [the] waters of the Jordan in the Jordan you will stand still.
9 Yoshuwa ya ce wa Isra’ilawa, “Ku zo nan ku ji maganar Ubangiji Allahnku.
And he said Joshua to [the] people of Israel draw near hither and hear [the] words of Yahweh God your.
10 Ta haka ne za ku san cewa Allah mai rai yana tare da ku, kuma ba shakka a gabanku za ku gani zai kore Kan’aniyawa, Hittiyawa, Hiwiyawa, Ferizziyawa, Girgashiyawa, Amoriyawa da Yebusiyawa.
And he said Joshua by this you will know! that God living [is] in midst your and certainly he will dispossess from before you the Canaanite[s] and the Hittite[s] and the Hivite[s] and the Perizzite[s] and the Girgashite[s] and the Amorite[s] and the Jebusite[s].
11 Ku duba, akwatin alkawarin Ubangiji na dukan duniya zai yi gaba cikin Urdun kafin ku.
Here! [the] ark of the covenant [the] lord of all the earth [is] about to pass on before you in the Jordan.
12 Yanzu sai ku zaɓi mutum goma sha biyu daga kabilan Isra’ila, ɗaya daga kowace kabila.
And therefore take for yourselves two [plus] ten man from [the] tribes of Israel a man one a man one to the tribe.
13 Kuma da firistoci waɗanda suke ɗauke da akwatin alkawarin Ubangiji, Ubangiji dukan duniya, sun sa ƙafa cikin ruwan kogin Urdun, ruwan da yake gudu a rafin zai tsaya cik yă taru a wuri ɗaya.”
And it will be when rest [the] soles of [the] feet of the priests [the] bearers of [the] ark of Yahweh [the] lord of all the earth in [the] waters of the Jordan [the] waters of the Jordan they will be cut off! the waters that are coming down from to above so they may stand a heap one.
14 Saboda haka sa’ad da mutanen suka tashi don su ƙetare Urdun, firistocin da suke ɗauke da akwatin alkawarin suka sha gaba.
And it was when set out the people from tents their to pass over the Jordan and the priests [the] bearers of the ark the covenant before the people.
15 Da kaka Urdun yakan cika makil da ruwa. Duk da haka da zarar firistoci masu ɗauke da akwatin alkawari suka tsoma ƙafafunsu a gefen ruwa,
And just as came [the] bearers of the ark to the Jordan and [the] feet of the priests [the] bearers of the ark they were dipped in [the] edge of the waters and the Jordan it is full over all banks its all [the] days of harvest.
16 sai ruwan da yake gangarowa ya tsaya, ya tattaru a wuri ɗaya ya yi tudu daga nan har zuwa wani garin da ake kira Adam kusa da Zaretan, ruwan da yake gangarowa zuwa Tekun Araba (Tekun Gishiri) kuma ya yanke gaba ɗaya. Sai mutane suka ƙetare kusa da Yeriko.
And they stood the waters which came down from to above they rose a heap one far away very (from Adam *Q(K)*) the city which [is] from [the] side of Zarethan and which went down to [the] sea of the Arabah [the] Sea of Salt they were complete they were cut off and the people they passed over before Jericho.
17 Firistocin kuwa da suke ɗauke da akwatin alkawarin Ubangiji suka tsaya daram a kan busasshiyar ƙasa a tsakiyar Urdun a lokacin da Isra’ilawa suka ƙetarewa, har sai da dukan mutane suka gama ƙetarewa.
And they stood the priests [the] bearers of the ark [the] covenant of Yahweh on the dry ground in [the] middle of the Jordan firmly and all Israel [were] passing over on the dry ground until that they had finished all the nation to pass over the Jordan.
