< Yoshuwa 14 >

1 Ga wuraren da Isra’ilawa suka sami gādo a ƙasar Kan’ana waɗanda Eleyazar firist, Yoshuwa ɗan Nun da kuma shugabannin iyalai kabila-kabila na Isra’ila suka raba musu.
And this is what the children of Israel inherited in the land of Canaan, which Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel, allotted for inheritance to them:
2 Ta wurin yin ƙuri’a aka raba wa kabilan nan tara da rabi, yadda Ubangiji ya umarta ta wurin Musa.
their inheritance was by lot, as Jehovah had commanded by Moses, for the nine tribes, and the half tribe.
3 Musa ya ba wa kabilan biyu da rabin nan gādonsu gabashin Urdun, amma bai ba wa Lawiyawa gādo a cikin sauran ba,
For Moses had given the inheritance of the two tribes and the half tribe beyond the Jordan, but to the Levites he had given no inheritance among them.
For the children of Joseph were two tribes, Manasseh and Ephraim; and they gave no part to the Levites in the land, save cities to dwell in, and their suburbs for their cattle and for their substance.
5 Haka Isra’ilawa suka raba ƙasar, yadda Ubangiji ya umarci Musa.
As Jehovah had commanded Moses, so the children of Israel did, and they divided the land.
6 Mutanen Yahuda kuma suka je wurin Yoshuwa a Gilgal, sai Kaleb ɗan Yefunne Bakenizze ya ce wa Yoshuwa, “Ka san abin da Ubangiji ya gaya wa Musa, mutumin Allah a Kadesh Barneya game da kai da ni.
Then the children of Judah came near to Joshua in Gilgal, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite said to him, Thou knowest the word that Jehovah spoke to Moses the man of God, concerning me and thee, in Kadesh-barnea.
7 Ina da shekara arba’in lokacin da Musa bawan Ubangiji ya aike ni zuwa Kadesh Barneya in leƙi asirin ƙasar. Na kuwa kawo masa rahoto daidai yadda na ga ƙasar,
Forty years old was I when Moses the servant of Jehovah sent me from Kadesh-barnea to search out the land; and I brought him word again as it was in my heart.
8 amma’yan’uwana waɗanda muka je tare su suka ba da rahoton da ya sa zukatan mutane suka narke don tsoro. Ni kam na bi Ubangiji Allah da dukan zuciyata.
And my brethren that had gone up with me made the heart of the people melt; but I wholly followed Jehovah my God.
9 Saboda haka a ranan nan Musa ya rantse mini cewa, ‘Ƙasar da ka taka za tă zama ƙasarka ta gādo kai da’ya’yanka har abada, domin ka bi Ubangiji Allahna da dukan zuciyarka.’
And Moses swore on that day, saying, The land whereon thy feet have trodden shall assuredly be thine inheritance, and thy children's for ever! for thou hast wholly followed Jehovah my God.
10 “Ga shi, kamar yadda Ubangiji ya yi alkawari, ya bar ni da rai har na ƙara shekaru arba’in da biyar tun daga lokacin da ya gaya wa Musa wannan, a lokacin da Isra’ilawa suke yawo a cikin jeji. Ga ni nan yau shekaruna tamanin da biyar!
And now behold, Jehovah has kept me alive, as he said, these forty-five years, since Jehovah spoke this word to Moses, when Israel wandered in the wilderness; and now behold, I am this day eighty-five years old.
11 Ina nan da ƙarfina kamar yadda nake da ƙarfi a lokacin da Musa ya aike ni; zan iya fita zuwa yaƙi da ƙwazo yanzu kamar yadda nake zuwa a dā.
I am still this day strong, as in the day that Moses sent me: as my strength was then, even so is my strength now, for war, both to go out and to come in.
12 Yanzu sai ka ba ni wannan ƙasar da take kan tudu wadda Ubangiji ya yi alkawari zai ba ni a ranan nan. Kai ma ka ji a lokacin, yadda Anakawa suke a can, biranensu manya ne kuma sun kewaye su sosai, amma na sani Ubangiji zai taimake ni, zan kore su kamar yadda ya faɗa.”
And now give me this mountain, of which Jehovah spoke in that day; for thou heardest in that day that Anakim are there, and great fortified cities. If so be Jehovah shall be with me, then I shall dispossess them, as Jehovah said.
13 Sai Yoshuwa ya sa wa Kaleb ɗan Yefunne albarka, ya ba shi Hebron.
And Joshua blessed him, and gave Hebron to Caleb the son of Jephunneh for an inheritance.
14 Saboda haka Hebron ta zama ƙasar Kaleb ɗan Yefunne Bakenizze tun daga lokacin nan, domin ya bi Ubangiji, Allah na Isra’ila da dukan zuciyarsa.
Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite to this day, because he wholly followed Jehovah the God of Israel.
15 (Dā a kan kira wannan Hebron, Kiriyat Arba. Wannan Arba kuwa shi ne wani katon mutum a cikin Anakawa.) Sa’an nan ƙasar ta huta daga yaƙi.
Now the name of Hebron before was Kirjath-Arba; the great man among the Anakim. And the land rested from war.
