Yoshuwa 13

1 Sa’ad da Yoshuwa ya tsufa, Ubangiji ya ce masa, “Ka tsufa ƙwarai, ga shi kuma akwai sauran ƙasa mai fāɗi da ba ku riga kun mallaka ba.

Now Joshua was old, well stricken in years; and the Lord said unto him, Thou art old, stricken in years, and of the land there remaineth yet very much to be taken possession of.

2 “Ga ƙasar da ta rage, “dukan yankunan Filistiyawa da na Geshurawa.

This is the land that yet remaineth: All the circles of the Philistines, and all [the land of the] Geshurites,

3 Daga Kogin Shihor a gabashin Masar zuwa sashen Ekron a arewa, dukan wannan ƙasa ana lissafta ta a cikin ƙasar Kan’aniyawa, ko da yake tana a sashen da sarakuna biyar na Filistiyawa na Gaza, Ashdod, Ashkeloniyawa, Gat da Ekron; na Awwiyawa.

From the Shichor, which runneth before Egypt, even unto the boundary of 'Ekron northward, is counted to the Canaanites; the five lords of the Philistines; the Gazzathites, and the Ashdodites, the Eshkelonites, the Gittites, and the 'Ekronites; also the 'Avvim;

4 Daga wajen kudu kuma, dukan ƙasar Kan’aniyawa ce. Iyakarta a arewa ta fara daga Ara ta Sidoniyawa har zuwa Afek, ta zarce har zuwa iyakar Amoriyawa;

On the south, all the land of the Canaanites, and Me'arah that belongeth to the Zidonians, up to Aphek, up to the border of the Emorites;

5 da ƙasar Gebaliyawa; da dukan Lebanon wajen gabas daga Ba’al-Gad a gindin Dutsen Hermon zuwa Lebo Hamat.

And the land of the Giblites, and all Lebanon, toward the rising of the sun, from Ba'al-gad under mount Chermon up to the entrance of Chamath.

6 “Dukan mazauna kan yankunan tuddai daga Lebanon zuwa Misrefot Mayim, wato, dukan Sidoniyawa, ni da kaina zan kore su a gaban Isra’ilawa. Ka tabbata ka raba wa Isra’ilawa ƙasar ta zama gādonsu kamar yadda na umarce ka,

All the inhabitants of the mountain from Lebanon unto Missrephoth-mayim, all the Zidonians: these will I drive out from before the children of Israel; only divide thou it by lot unto the Israelites for an inheritance, as I have commanded thee.

7 ka raba ta tă zama gādo wa kabilu tara da kuma rabin kabilar Manasse.”

And now divide this land for an inheritance unto the nine tribes, and the half tribe of Menasseh.

8 Rabin kabilar Manasse, mutanen Ruben da mutanen Gad suka karɓi rabonsu na gādo wanda Musa ya ba su a gabashin Urdun. Abin da Musa bawan Ubangiji ya ba su ke nan.

With him the Reubenites and the Gadites have received their inheritance, which Moses gave unto them, beyond the Jordan eastward, as Moses the servant of the Lord hath given them;

9 Wannan ya tashi daga Arower a gefen kwarin Arnon, da kuma daga garin da yake tsakiyar kwarin, ya kuma haɗa da ƙasar da take tudun Medeba har zuwa Dibon,

From 'Aro'er, that is upon the bank of the brook Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the brook, and all the plain of Medeba up to Dibon;

10 da dukan garuruwan Sihon sarkin Amoriyawa, wanda ya yi mulkin Heshbon, har zuwa iyakar Ammonawa.

And all the cities of Sichon the king of the Emorites, who reigned over Cheshbon, up to the border of the children of 'Ammon;

11 Haɗe da Gileyad, inda mutanen Geshur da Ma’aka suke. Dukan Dutsen Hermon, da dukan Bashan har zuwa Saleka,

And Gil'ad, and the territory of the Geshurites and Ma'achathites, and all mount Chermon, and all Bashan up to Salchah;

12 wato, dukan masarautar Og a Bashan, wanda ya yi mulkin Ashtarot da Edireyi, yana cikin waɗanda suke na ƙarshe da ba a kashe ba a cikin Refahiyawa. Musa ya ci su da yaƙi, ya ƙwace ƙasarsu.

All the kingdom of 'Og in Bashan, who reigned in 'Ashtaroth and in Edre'i; who had been left of the remnant of the Rephaim; and Moses smote them, and cast them out.

13 Amma Isra’ilawa ba su kori mutanen Geshur da Ma’aka ba, saboda haka suka ci gaba da zama cikin Isra’ilawa har wa yau.

Nevertheless the children of Israel expelled not the Geshurites and the Ma'achathites; but the Geshurites and the Ma'achathites continued to dwell in the midst of the Israelites until this day.

14 Kabilar Lawiyawa ne kaɗai Musa bai ba ta gādo ba, gama hadayun ƙonawa da ake miƙa wa Ubangiji, Allah na Isra’ila ne gādonsu, kamar yadda ya yi musu alkawari.

Only unto the tribe of Levi he gave no inheritance: the fire-offerings of the Lord, the God of Israel, are their inheritance, as he hath spoken unto them.

15 Ga abin da Musa ya ba kabilar Ruben bisa ga iyalansu.

And Moses gave unto the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their families;

16 Abin da ya kama daga Arower a gefen kwarin Arnon, da kuma daga garin da yake tsakiyar kwarin, da dukan ƙasar tudu kusa da Medeba

And their territory was from 'Aro'er, that is on the bank of the brook Arnon, and the city that is in the midst of the brook, and all the plain by Medeba;

17 zuwa Heshbon, da dukan garuruwan kan tudu, haɗe da Dibon, Bamot Ba’al, Bet-Ba’al-Meyon,

Cheshbon, and all its cities that are in the plain; Dibon, and Bamoth-ba'al, and Beth-ba'al-me'on,

18 Yahza, Kedemot, Mefa’at,

And Yahzah, and Kedemoth, and Mepha'ath,

19 Kiriyatayim, Sibma, Zeret Shahar kan tudu cikin kwari,

And Kiryathayim, and Sibmah, and Zereth-hashachar on the mount of the valley,

20 Bet-Feyor, gangaren Fisga da Bet-Yeshimot,

And Beth-pe'or, and the declivities of Pisgah, and Beth-hayeshimoth,

21 dukan garuruwan da suke kan tudu da dukan masarautar Sihon sarkin Amoriyawa, wanda ya yi mulki a Heshbon. Musa ya yi nasara da shi, da shugabannin Midiyawa, wato, Ewi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, da Reba, sarakunan Sihon, waɗanda suka zauna a ƙasar.

And all the cities of the plain, and all the kingdom of Sichon the king of the Emorites, who reigned in Cheshbon, whom Moses smote with the princes of Midian, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Chur, and Reba', the dukes of Sichon, the dwellers of the country.

22 Ƙari a kan waɗanda aka kashe a yaƙi, Isra’ilawa suka kashe Bala’am ɗan Beyor da takobi don yana duba.

And Bil'am the son of Be'or, the soothsayer, did the children of Israel slay with the sword among their slain.

23 Gefen Urdun shi ne iyakar mutanen Ruben. Waɗannan garuruwa da ƙauyukansu su ne gādon mutanen Ruben, bisa ga iyalansu.

And the boundary of the children of Reuben was the Jordan, and its bordering territory. This was the inheritance of the children of Reuben after their families, the cities and their villages.

24 Ga abin da Musa ya ba kabilar Gad, bisa ga iyalansu.

And Moses gave unto the tribe of Gad, unto the children of Gad according to their families;

25 Yankin ƙasarsu ya ƙunshi Yazer, da dukan garuruwan Gileyad, da rabin ƙasar Ammonawa har zuwa Arower kusa da Rabba,

And their territory was Ya'zer, and all the cities of Gil'ad, and half the land of the children of 'Ammon, up to 'Aro'er that is before Rabbah;

26 da kuma daga Heshbon zuwa Ramat Mizfa da Betonim, da kuma daga Mahanayim zuwa sashen Debir,

And from Cheshbon unto Ramath-mizpeh, and Betonim; and from Machanayim up to the border of Debir;

27 kuma a cikin kwari, Bet-Haram, Bet-Nimra, Sukkot da Zafon da kuma sauran masarautar Sihon sarkin Heshbon (gabashin Urdun, abin da ya kama har zuwa ƙarshen Tekun Kinneret).

And in the valley, Beth-haram, and Beth-nimrah, and Succoth, and Zaphon, the rest of the kingdom of Sichon the king of Cheshbon, the Jordan and its bordering territory, up to the edge of the sea of Kinnereth on the other side of the Jordan eastward.

28 Waɗannan garuruwan da ƙauyukansu duka, gādon mutanen Gad ne, bisa ga iyalansu.

This is the inheritance of the children of Gad after their families, the cities and their villages.

29 Ga abin da Musa ya ba rabin kabilar Manasse, wato, wa rabin zuriyar Manasse, bisa ga iyalansu.

And Moses gave unto the half tribe of Menasseh; and it belonged to the half tribe of the children of Menasseh after their families;

30 Abin da ya miƙe daga Mahanayim haɗe da dukan Bashan, da gefen masarautar Og sarkin Bashan, da dukan garuruwan Yayir guda sittin da suke a Bashan,

And their territory was from Machanayim, all Bashan, all the kingdom of 'Og the king of Bashan, and all the villages of Ya'ir, which are in Bashan, sixty cities;

31 da rabin Gileyad, da Ashtarot, Edireyi (biranen sarki Og a Bashan). Wannan shi ne rabon da zuriyar Makir ɗan Manasse suka samu, domin rabin’ya’yan Makir maza, bisa ga iyalansu.

And half Gil'ad and 'Ashtaroth, and Edre'i, the cities of the kingdom of 'Og in Bashan, [belonged] unto the children of Machir the son of Menasseh, even to the one half of the children of Machir after their families.

32 Waɗannan su ne rabon gādon da Musa ya yi lokacin da suke cikin filayen Mowab a hayin gabashin Urdun kusa da Yeriko.

These are they to whom Moses did distribute an inheritance in the plans of Moab, on the other side of the Jordan, by Jericho, eastward.

33 Amma Musa bai ba kabilar Lawiyawa gādo ba; Ubangiji, Allah na Isra’ila, shi ne gādonsu kamar yadda ya yi musu alkawari.

But unto the tribe of Levi Moses gave not any inheritance: the Lord the God of Israel is himself their inheritance, as he hath spoken unto them.
