Yohanna 17
1 Bayan da Yesu ya faɗi wannan, sai ya dubi sama ya yi addu’a ya ce, “Uba, lokaci ya yi. Ka ɗaukaka Ɗanka, don Ɗanka yă ɗaukaka ka.
When Jesus had spoken these words, He lifted up his eyes to heaven and said, ---"Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify Thee:
2 Gama ka ba shi iko bisa dukan mutane domin yă ba da rai madawwami ga duk waɗanda ka ba shi. (aiōnios g166)
as Thou hast given Him power over all flesh, that as to all which Thou hast given Him, He might give them eternal life; (aiōnios g166)
3 Rai madawwami kuwa shi ne, su san ka, Allah makaɗaici mai gaskiya, da kuma Yesu Kiristi, wanda ka aiko. (aiōnios g166)
and this is life eternal, to know Thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom thou hast sent. (aiōnios g166)
4 Na ɗaukaka ka a duniya ta wurin gama aikin da ka ba ni.
I have glorified Thee on earth, I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do:
5 Yanzu ya Uba, ka ɗaukaka ni a gabanka da ɗaukakar da dā nake da ita tun kafin a kafa duniya.
and now, O Father, glorify Thou me with thine own self, with the glory which I had with Thee before the world was made.
6 “Na bayyana ka ga waɗanda ka ba ni a duniya. Su naka ne; kai ka ba ni su sun kuma yi biyayya da maganarka.
I have manifested thy name to the men, whom Thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and Thou gavest them to me, and they have kept thy word.
7 Yanzu sun san cewa duk abin da ka ba ni daga gare ka ya fito.
They now know that all things whatsoever Thou hast given me, are indeed from Thee;
8 Na ba su kalmomin da ka ba ni sun kuwa karɓa. Sun san tabbatacce daga wurinka na fito. Sun kuma gaskata kai ka aiko ni.
for the instructions, which Thou gavest me, I have given to them: and they have received them, and have known of a truth that I came from Thee, and have believed that thou hast sent me.
9 Ina addu’a dominsu. Ba domin duniya nake addu’a ba, amma domin waɗanda ka ba ni, gama su naka ne.
I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for those whom Thou hast given me, for they are thine.
10 Duk abin da nake da shi naka ne, kuma duk abin da kake da shi nawa ne. Na kuwa sami ɗaukaka ta wurinsu.
And all my concerns are thine, and thine are mine: and I am therefore glorified in them.
11 Ba sauran zamana a duniya, amma waɗannan a duniya suke, ni kuwa ina zuwa wurinka. Ya Uba Mai Tsarki, ka kiyaye su ta wurin ikon sunanka, sunan da ka ba ni, don su zama ɗaya kamar yadda muke ɗaya.
And as I am to be no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I am coming to Thee, Holy Father, keep by thy name those whom Thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
12 Yayinda nake tare da su, na kāre su na kuma kiyaye su ta wurin sunan nan da ka ba ni. Ba ko ɗayan da ya ɓace, sai dai wannan da aka ƙaddara zuwa ga hallaka don Nassi yă cika.
While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name; I have preserved those whom Thou gavest me, and none of them is lost; except the son of perdition, that the scripture might be fulfilled.
13 “Yanzu ina zuwa wurinka, sai dai na faɗi waɗannan abubuwa ne tun ina a duniya domin farin ciki yă zama cikakke a cikinsu.
But now I am coming to Thee, and I speak these things in the world, that they may have my joy fulfilled in them.
14 Na gaya musu maganarka duniya kuwa ta ƙi su, don su ba na duniya ba ne yadda ni ma ba na duniya ba ne.
I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
15 Ba addu’ata ba ce ka ɗauke su daga duniya ba, sai dai ka kāre su daga mugun nan.
I do not pray that Thou wouldest take them out of the world, but that thou wouldest keep them from the evil.
16 Su ba na duniya ba ne, kamar yadda ni ma ba na duniya ba ne.
They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
17 Ka tsarkake su ta wurin gaskiya; maganarka ce gaskiya.
Sanctify them by thy truth: thy word is truth.
18 Kamar yadda ka aiko ni cikin duniya, haka ni ma na aike su cikin duniya.
As Thou hast sent me into the world, so have I also sent them into the world.
19 Saboda su ne na tsarkake kaina, domin su ma a tsarkake su da gaske.
And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also may be sanctified through the truth.
20 “Addu’ata ba saboda masu bina kaɗai ba ne. Ina addu’a kuma saboda waɗanda za su gaskata da ni ta wurin maganarsu.
Nor do I pray for these only, but for them also that shall believe on me through their word.
21 Ina so dukansu su zama ɗaya, ya Uba, kamar yadda kake a cikina, ni kuwa a cikinka. Haka su ma bari su zauna cikinmu, domin duniya ta gaskata cewa kai ka aiko ni.
That they all may be one, as Thou, O Father, art in me, and I in Thee; that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 Na ba su ɗaukakar da ka ba ni, don su zama ɗaya kamar yadda muke ɗaya.
And the glory which thou gavest me, I have given them: that they may be one, even as we are one.
23 Ni a cikinsu kai kuma a cikina. Bari su kasance da cikakken haɗinkai, domin duniya ta san cewa kai ka aiko ni. Ka kuwa ƙaunace su yadda ka ƙaunace ni.
I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that Thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as Thou hast loved me.
24 “Uba, ina so waɗanda ka ba ni su kasance tare da ni a inda nake, su kuma ga ɗaukakata, ɗaukakar da ka ba ni domin kana ƙaunata kafin halittar duniya.
Father, I desire that they also, whom thou hast given me, may be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for Thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
25 “Ya Uba Mai Adalci, ko da yake duniya ba tă san ka ba, ni na san ka, sun kuma san kai ka aiko ni.
O righteous Father, the world indeed hath not known Thee: but I have known Thee, and these have known that Thou hast sent me.
26 Na bayyana ka a gare su, zan kuma ci gaba da bayyana ka domin ƙaunar da ka yi mini ta kasance a cikinsu ni ma in kasance a cikinsu.”
And I have made known to them thy name, and will farther make it known; that the love wherewith Thou hast loved me, may be in them, and I also in them.
