< Ayuba 40 >
1 Ubangiji ya ce wa Ayuba,
And Jehovah doth answer Job, and saith: —
2 “Mai neman sa wa wani laifi zai iya ja da Maɗaukaki? Bari mai tuhumar Allah yă amsa masa.”
Is the striver with the Mighty instructed? The reprover of God, let him answer it.
3 Sai Ayuba ya amsa wa Ubangiji,
And Job answereth Jehovah, and saith: —
4 “Ai, ni ba a bakin kome nake ba ne, ta yaya zan iya amsa maka? Na rufe bakina da hannuna.
Lo, I have been vile, What do I return to Thee? My hand I have placed on my mouth.
5 Na yi magana sau ɗaya amma ba ni da amsa, sau biyu, amma ba zan ƙara cewa kome ba.”
Once I have spoken, and I answer not, And twice, and I add not.

And an arm like God hast thou? And with a voice like Him dost thou thunder?

Scatter abroad the wrath of thine anger, And see every proud one, and make him low.
12 Ka dubi duk wani mai girman kai ka ƙasƙantar da shi, ka tattake mugaye a inda ka tsaya.
See every proud one — humble him, And tread down the wicked in their place.
