Irmiya 28
1 A wata na biyar na wannan shekara, shekara ta huɗu, a farkon sarautar Zedekiya sarkin Yahuda, sai annabi Hananiya ɗan Azzur, wanda ya fito daga Gibeyon, ya zo wurina a gidan Ubangiji a gaban firistoci da kuma dukan mutane,
And it came to pass in that year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year in the fifth month, that Hananiah son of Azzur the prophet who was of Gibeon, spake unto me, in the house of Yahweh, before the eyes of the priests and all the people, saying:
2 “Ga abin da Ubangiji Maɗaukaki, Allah na Isra’ila ya ce, ‘Zan karya karkiyar sarkin Babilon.
Thus speaketh Yahweh of hosts, God of Israel saying, —I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon:
3 Cikin shekaru biyu zan komo da dukan kayayyakin gidan Ubangiji da Nebukadnezzar sarkin Babilon ya kwashe daga wannan wuri ya kai Babilon.
within the space of two years, I am bringing back into this place, all the vessels of the house of Yahweh, —which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, hath taken away from this place, and carried into Babylon.
4 Zan kuma komo da Yekoniya ɗan Yehohiyakim sarkin Yahuda da kuma dukan sauran masu zaman bauta daga Yahuda waɗanda suka tafi Babilon,’ in ji Ubangiji, ‘gama zan karya karkiyar sarkin Babilon.’”
Jeconiah also, son of Jehoiakim king of Judah with all the captives of Judah who have entered Babylon, am I bringing back into this place Declareth Yahweh, —for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
5 Sai annabi Irmiya ya amsa wa annabi Hananiya a gaban firistoci da kuma dukan mutane waɗanda suke tsaye a gidan Ubangiji.
Then said Jeremiah the prophet, unto Hananiah the prophet, in the presence of the priests and in the presence of all the people, who were standing in the house of Yahweh,
6 Ya ce, “Amin! Ubangiji yă sa yă zama haka! Ubangiji yă cika maganar da ka yi annabci ta wurin komo da kayayyakin gidan Ubangiji da kuma dukan masu zaman bauta zuwa wannan wuri daga Babilon.
then said Jeremiah the prophet, —Amen! So, may Yahweh do! Yahweh establish thy words which thou hast prophesied by bringing back the vessels of the house of Yahweh and all them of the captivity, from Babylon unto this place.
7 Duk da haka, ka saurari abin da zan faɗa a kunnenka da kuma a kunnen duka mutane,
Nevertheless hear thou I pray thee, this word, which I am speaking in thine ears, —and in the ears of all the people:
8 Daga farko fari annabawan da suka riga ka da ni sun yi annabcin yaƙi, masifa da annoba a kan ƙasashe masu yawa da kuma manyan mulkoki.
The prophets who were before me and before thee, from age-past times when they prophesied against many lands and concerning great kingdoms, of war and of calamity and of pestilence,
9 Amma annabin da ya yi annabcin salama shi za a ɗauka a matsayin wanda Ubangiji ya aika in har abin da ya furta ya zama gaskiya.”
the prophet who prophesied of peace when the word of the prophet was fulfilled, then was known the prophet, whom Yahweh had sent in truth.
10 Sai annabi Hananiya ya cire karkiya daga wuyar annabi Irmiya ya karya ta,
Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the neck of Jeremiah the prophet, —and brake it.
11 ya ce a gaban dukan mutane, “Ga abin da Ubangiji yana cewa, ‘A haka zan karya karkiyar Nebukadnezzar sarkin Babilon daga wuyan dukan al’ummai a cikin shekaru biyu.’” Da wannan, annabi Irmiya ya yi tafiyarsa.
And Hananiah spake before the eyes of all the people saying, Thus, saith Yahweh, —In like manner, will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, within the space of two years, from off the neck of all the nations, And Jeremiah the prophet went his way.
12 Ba a daɗe ba bayan annabi Hananiya ya karya karkiya daga wuyan annabi Irmiya, sai maganar Ubangiji ta zo wa Irmiya cewa,
Then came the word of Yahweh unto Jeremiah after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of Jeremiah the prophet, saying:
13 “Je ka faɗa wa Hananiya cewa, ‘Ga abin da Ubangiji yana cewa, ka karya karkiyar katako, amma a wurinsa za ka sami karkiyar ƙarfe.
Go and speak unto Hananiah saying—Thus, saith Yahweh, Yokes of wood, thou hast broken, —But thou shalt make, in their stead yokes of iron!
14 Ga abin da Ubangiji Maɗaukaki, Allah na Isra’ila, yana cewa zan sa karkiyar ƙarfe a wuyan dukan waɗannan al’ummai don in sa su bauta wa Nebukadnezzar sarkin Babilon, za su kuwa bauta masa. Zan ma sa shi ya mallaki namun jeji.’”
For, Thus, saith Yahweh of hosts God of Israel, —A yoke of iron, have I put upon the neck of all these nations to serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and they shall serve him, Moreover also the wild beast of the field, have I given to him.
15 Sa’an nan annabi Irmiya ya ce wa annabi Hananiya, “Ka saurara, Hananiya! Ubangiji bai aike ka ba, duk da haka ka lallashe wannan al’umma su dogara ga ƙarya.
Then said Jeremiah the prophet unto Hananiah the prophet, —Hear I pray thee, Hananiah: Yahweh hath not sent thee, Thou, therefore hast caused this people to trust in falsehood!
16 Saboda haka, ga abin da Ubangiji yana cewa, ‘Ina shirin kawar da kai daga fuskar duniya. A wannan shekara za ka mutu, domin ka yi wa’azin tawaye a kan Ubangiji.’”
Therefore, Thus, saith Yahweh, Behold me! driving thee away from off the face of the ground, —This year, art thou to die, Because revolt, hast thou spoken against Yahweh.
17 A wata na bakwai na wannan shekara, annabi Hananiya ya mutu.
So Hananiah the prophet died the same year, in the seventh month.
