< Yaƙub 1 >

1 Yaƙub, bawan Allah da kuma na Ubangiji Yesu Kiristi, Zuwa ga kabilan nan goma sha biyu, da suke warwartse a cikin al’ummai. Gaisuwa mai yawa.
JAKUB, a servant of Aloha and of our Lord Jeshu Meshiha, unto the twelve tribes who are dispersed among the nations: Peace.
All joy shall be to you, my brethren, when you shall have entered into temptations many and various.
3 domin kun san cewa gwajin bangaskiyarku yakan haifi daurewa.
For you know that the proving of faith maketh you to possess patience;
4 Dole daurewa ta kammala aikinta don ku zama balagaggu da kuma cikakku, ba ku kuma rasa kome ba.
but to patience let there be a perfect work, that you may be complete and perfected, and in nothing be deficient.
5 In waninku ya rasa hikima, ya kamata yă roƙi Allah, mai bayarwa hannu sake ga kowa ba tare da gori ba, za a kuwa ba shi.
If any of you be deficient in wisdom, let him ask of Aloha, who giveth to all expansively, and upbraideth not, and it is given to him.
But let him ask in faith, not wavering. For he who wavereth is like the waves of the sea which the wind disturbeth.
7 Kada irin wannan mutum yă yi tsammani zai sami wani abu daga Ubangiji;
And let not that man expect to receive any thing from the Lord,
who is divided in his mind, and disturbed in all his ways.
9 Bari ɗan’uwan da yake cikin halin ƙasƙanci yă yi taƙama a matsayinsa na ɗaukaka.
But let the humble brother glory in his exaltation,
10 Amma wanda yake mai arziki, ya kamata yă yi taƙama a matsayinsa na ƙasƙanci, gama ba zai daɗe ba kamar furen jeji.
and the rich in his humility; for as the flower of an herb, so he passeth.
11 Gama in rana ta fito ta yi zafi mai tsanani sai ta sa tsiro yă yanƙwane tsiro; furensa yă kakkaɓe, kyansa kuma yă lalace. Haka ma mai arziki zai shuɗe yayinda yake cikin harkarsa.
For the sun ariseth in his heat, and drieth the herb, and the flower of it falleth, and the beauty of its appearance perisheth; so also the rich withereth in his reverses.
Blessed the man who endureth temptations: for when he hath been proved he shall receive the crown of life, which Aloha hath promised unto them who love him.
13 Sa’ad da aka jarrabci mutum, kada yă ce, “Allah ne yake jarrabtarsa.” Gama ba ya yiwuwa a jarrabci Allah da mugunta, shi kuma ba ya jarrabtar kowa;
Let no man say, when he is tempted, From Aloha I am tempted; for Aloha is not tempted with evils, and he no man tempteth.
14 amma akan jarrabce kowane mutum sa’ad da muguwar sha’awarsa ta janye shi ta kuma rinjaye shi.
But each man from his concupiscence tempteth himself, and desireth, and is drawn away.
And this desire conceiveth and beareth sin; and sin, when it is perfected, beareth death.
16 Kada a ruɗe ku,’yan’uwana ƙaunatattu.
Do not err, my beloved brethren;
17 Kowane abu mai kyau da kuma kowace cikakkiyar kyauta daga sama suke, sun sauko ne daga wurin Uban haskoki, wanda ba sauyawa ko wata alamar sākewa a gare shi faufau.
every good gift and perfect from above descendeth, from the Father of lights, with whom is no alteration, nor the shadow of vicissitude.
He willed, and begat us by the word of truth, that we might be the first-ones of his creatures.
19 ’Yan’uwana ƙaunatattu, ku lura da wannan. Ya kamata kowa yă kasance mai saurin saurara, ba mai saurin magana ba, ba kuma mai saurin fushi ba,
And you, my beloved brethren, let every one of you be swift to hear, and slow to speak, and slow to be angry;
20 gama fushin mutum ba ya kawo rayuwar adalcin da Allah yake so.
for the wrath of man the righteousness of Aloha worketh not.
Wherefore, remove from you all impurity and the abounding of wickedness, and with meekness receive the word which is engrafted in our nature, which is able to save your souls.
22 Kada ku zama masu ji kawai, ku ruɗi kanku. A maimakon haka ku zama masu yin abin da ta ce.
BUT be doers of the word, and not hearers only, neither deceive yourselves.
For if a man be a hearer of the word and not a doer of it, this (man) is like one who vieweth his face in a mirror;
for he seeth himself and passeth, and hath forgotten what (manner of person) he was.
25 Amma duk mai duba cikakkiyar ƙa’idan nan ta’yanci, ya kuma nace a kanta, ya zama ba mai ji ne kawai yă mance ba, sai dai mai yi ne yă zartar, to wannan shi za a yi wa albarka a cikin abin da yake yi.
But every one who looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he is not a hearer of the hearing of forgetfulness, but a doer of works; and this shall be blessed in his work.
26 In wani ya ɗauki kansa mai addini ne duk da haka bai ƙame harshensa ba, ruɗin kansa yake yi addininsa kuwa banza ne.
And if a man thinketh that he serveth Aloha, and holdeth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, of this man his service is vain.
For the service which is pure and true before Aloha the Father, is this, to visit the orphans and widows in their afflictions, and that a man keep himself from the world without blemish.
