Ishaya 34
1 Ku zo kusa, ku al’ummai, ku kuwa saurara ku kasa kunne, ku mutane! Bari duniya ta ji, da kuma dukan abin da yake cikinta, duniya, da dukan abin da yake fitowa daga gare ta!
You people of all nations, come near and listen and pay careful attention. I want the world and everything that is in it to hear what I say.
2 Ubangiji yana fushi da dukan al’ummai; hasalarsa tana a kan mayaƙansu. Zai hallaka su tas, zai ba da su a karkashe.
Yahweh is angry with [the people of] all nations; he is (furious/very angry) with all their armies. He has decided that they must be destroyed, and he will slaughter them.
3 Za a jefar da waɗanda aka kashe gawawwakinsu za su yi wari; duwatsu za su jiƙu da jininsu.
Their corpses will not be buried, and [as a result] their corpses will stink, and their blood will [fill the streams that] flow down the mountains.
4 Za a tumɓuke dukan taurarin sammai za a kuma nannaɗe sararin sama kamar littafi; dukan rundunar sama za su fāffāɗi kamar ganyayen da suka yanƙwane daga kuringa, kamar’ya’yan ɓauren da suka bushe daga itacen ɓaure.
The sky will disappear like [SIM] a scroll that is rolled up [and thrown away]. Stars will fall [from the sky] like [SIM] [withered] leaves fall from grapevines, [or] like [SIM] shriveled figs fall from fig trees.
5 Takobina ya sha zararsa a cikin sammai; duba, ya sauko cikin hukunci a kan Edom, mutanen da zan hallaka tas.
When Yahweh has finished his work of destroying objects in the sky, he will punish [the people of] Edom, that people-group that he has said must be destroyed/exterminated.
6 Takobin Ubangiji ya jiƙu da jini, ya rufu da kitse, jinin raguna da na awaki, kitse daga ƙodar raguna. Gama Ubangiji ya yi hadayar Bozra da kuma babban kisa a Edom.
[It is as though] Yahweh has a sword that is covered with blood and fat— the blood of lambs and goats and the fat of the kidneys of rams to be sacrificed. [It is as though] Yahweh will offer a sacrifice in [the city of] Bozrah [and kill many people] in other cities in Edom.
7 Babban bijimin jeji zai fāɗi tare da su, maruƙan bijimi da manyan bijimai. Ƙasarsu za tă cika da jini, ƙura kuma zai cika da kitse.
[Even] wild oxen will be killed, as well as young calves and big bulls. The ground will be soaked with blood, and the dirt will be covered with the fat of those animals.
8 Gama Ubangiji yana da ranar ɗaukar fansa, shekarar ramuwa, don biya wa Sihiyona bukata.
That will be the time when Yahweh gets revenge for what those people did to the people of Judah.
9 Za a mai da rafuffukan Edom rami, ƙurarta za tă zama kibiritun farar wuta; ƙasarta za tă zama rami mai ƙuna!
The streams in Edom will be full of burning pitch/tar, and the ground will be covered with burning sulfur.
10 Ba za a kashe ta ba dare da rana; hayaƙinta za tă yi ta tashi har abada. Daga tsara zuwa tsara za tă zama kango; babu wani da zai ƙara wucewa ta wurin.
Yahweh will never finish punishing Edom with fire; the smoke will rise forever. No one will ever live in that land, and no one will [even] travel through it.
11 Mujiyar hamada da mujiya mai kuka za su mallake ta; babban mujiya da hankaka za su yi sheƙa a can. Allah zai miƙe a kan Edom magwajin bala’i da ma’aunin kango.
Ravens and various kinds of owls and small animals will live there. Yahweh will measure that land carefully: He will measure it to [to decide where] to cause chaos and destruction.
12 Sarakunanta ba za su kasance da wani abin da ake kira masarauta ba, dukan sarakunanta za su ɓace.
There will be no princes; the people who have authority will have no kingdom to rule.
13 Ƙayayuwa za su mamaye fadodinta ƙayayyuwa da sarƙaƙƙiya za su cika kagaranta. Za tă zama mazaunin diloli da gida don mujiyoyi.
The deserted palaces and fortified buildings will be full of thorns and thistles. The ruins will be a place for jackals/wolves and owls to live.
14 Halittun hamada za su sadu da kuraye, awakin jeji za su yi ta kiran juna; a can halittun dare su ma za su huta su kuma nemi wurin hutu wa kansu.
Animals that live in the desert and hyenas/wolves will be there, and wild goats will bleat/call to each other. There will also be creatures/animals that [roam around] at night.
15 Mujiya za tă yi sheƙa a can ta zuba ƙwai; za tă ƙyanƙyashe su, ta kuma kula da’ya’yanta a inuwar fikafikanta; a can kuma shirwa za su taru, kowa da abokinsa.
Owls will make their nests there and lay their eggs in the nests; and when the eggs hatch, the mother birds will cover them [with their wings]. There will also be falcons/hawks there, each with its mate.
16 Duba a cikin littafin Ubangiji ka kuma karanta. Babu wani a cikin waɗannan da ya ɓace, babu ko ɗaya da ba ta da abokiya. Gama bakinsa ne ya ba da umarni, Ruhunsa kuma zai tara su wuri ɗaya.
If you read what is written in the book that contains messages from Yahweh, you will find out what he will do [in Edom]. All of those animals and birds will be there, and each one will have a mate, because that is what Yahweh has promised, and his Spirit will cause them [all] to gather [there].
17 Ya ba su rabonsu; hannunsa ya rarraba musu ta wurin awo. Za su mallake ta har abada su kuma zauna a can daga tsara zuwa tsara.
He has decided what parts of the land [of Edom] each will live in, and those are the places where each bird or animal will live. Their descendants will possess those areas forever, throughout all generations.
