Ishaya 18
1 Kaiton ƙasar da ake jin ƙarar fikafikai a bakin kogunan Kush,
Behold, land shadowed [with] wings, That [is] beyond the rivers of Cush,
2 wadda ta aiko da jakadu ta teku cikin jiragen ruwan da aka yi da kyauro a bisa ruwa. Ku tafi, ku’yan saƙo masu sauri, zuwa ga dogayen mutane masu sulɓin jiki, zuwa ga mutanen da ake jin tsoro a ko’ina, al’umma mai ƙarfin iko tana jawabin da ba a saba ji ba, mai ƙasar da koguna suka raba.
That is sending ambassadors by sea, Even with implements of reed on the face of the waters—Go, swift messengers, To a nation drawn out and peeled, To a people fearful from its beginning and onward, A nation meeting out by line, and treading down, Whose land floods have spoiled.
3 Ku dukan mutanen duniya, ku da kuke zama a duniya, sa’ad da aka ɗaga tutar a kan duwatsu, za ku gan shi, sa’ad da kuma aka busa ƙaho, za ku ji shi.
All you inhabitants of the world, And you dwellers of earth, At the lifting up of an ensign on hills you look, And at the blowing of a horn you hear.
4 Ga abin da Ubangiji ya faɗa mini, “Zan yi shiru in kuma duba a hankali daga mazaunina, kamar ƙuna mai zafi a hasken rana, kamar girgijen raba a lokacin girbi.”
For thus said YHWH to me: “I rest, and I look on My settled place, As a clear heat on an herb. As a thick cloud of dew in the heat of harvest.
5 Gama kafin girbi, sa’ad da furanni suka karkaɗe furanni kuma suka zama’ya’yan inabin da suka nuna, zai faffalle rassan kuringar inabi da wuƙa, ya yanke ya kuma kwashe rassan da suka bazu.
For before harvest, when the flower is perfect, And the blossom is producing unripe fruit, Then [One] has cut the sprigs with pruning hooks, And the branches He has turned aside, cut down.
6 Duk za a bar su wa tsuntsayen dutse su ci da kuma namun jeji; tsuntsaye kuma za su ci rani a kansu, namun jeji kuma za su yi damina a kansu.
They are left together to the ravenous bird of the mountains, And to the beast of the earth, And the ravenous bird has summered on them, And every beast of the earth winters on them.
7 A wannan lokaci za a kawo kyautai wa Ubangiji Maɗaukaki daga dogayen mutane masu sulɓin jiki, daga mutanen da ake jin tsoro a ko’ina, al’umma mai ƙarfin iko na jawabin da ba a saba ji ba, mai ƙasar da koguna suka raba. Za a kawo kyautai zuwa Dutsen Sihiyona, wurin da Sunan Ubangiji Maɗaukaki yake.
At that time a present is brought to YHWH of Hosts, A nation drawn out and peeled. Even of a people fearful from the beginning until now, A nation meting out by line, and treading down, Whose land floods have spoiled, To the place of the Name of YHWH of Hosts—Mount Zion!”
