Hosiya 4
1 Ku ji maganar Ubangiji, ku Isra’ilawa, gama Ubangiji yana da tuhumar da zai kawo a kan ku waɗanda suke zama a ƙasar. “Babu aminci, babu ƙauna, babu yarda da Allah a cikin ƙasar.
Hear the word of Jehovah, ye children of Israel; for Jehovah hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land; for there is no truth, nor goodness, nor knowledge of God in the land.
2 Akwai la’ana ce kawai, yin ƙarya da kisa, yin sata da zina; sun wuce gona da iri, kisankai a kan kisankai.
Swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, — they break out; and blood toucheth blood.
3 Saboda wannan ƙasar tana makoki, kuma dukan waɗanda suke zama a cikinta sun lalace; namun jeji da tsuntsayen sararin sama da kuma kifin teku suna mutuwa.
For this shall the land mourn, and every one that dwelleth therein shall languish, with the beasts of the field, and with the fowl of the heavens, yea, the fishes of the sea also shall be taken away.
4 “Amma kada wani mutum yă kawo tuhuma, kada wani mutum yă zargi wani, gama mutanenka suna kama da waɗanda suke kawo tuhume-tuhume a kan firist ne.
Yet let no man strive, and let no man reprove; for thy people are as they that strive with the priest.
5 Kuna tuntuɓe dare da rana, annabawa ma suna tuntuɓe tare da ku. Saboda haka zan hallaka mahaifiyarku,
And thou shalt stumble by day; and the prophet also shall stumble with thee by night: and I will destroy thy mother.
6 mutanena suna hallaka saboda jahilci. “Domin kun ƙi neman sani, ni ma na ƙi ku a matsayin firistocina; domin kun ƙyale dokar Allahnku, ni ma zan ƙyale’ya’yanku.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge; for thou hast rejected knowledge, and I will reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me; seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I also will forget thy children.
7 Yawan ƙaruwar firistoci, haka suke yawan zunubi a kaina; sun yi musaya Ɗaukakarsu da wani abin kunya.
As they were multiplied, so they sinned against me: I will change their glory into shame.
8 Suna ciyar da kansu a kan zunuban mutanena suna kuma haɗamar muguntarsu.
They eat the sin of my people, and their soul longeth for their iniquity.
9 Zai kuwa zama, kamar yadda mutane suke, haka firistoci suke. Zan hukunta dukansu saboda al’amuransu in kuma sāka musu saboda ayyukansu.
And it shall be as the people so the priest; and I will visit their ways upon them, and recompense to them their doings;
10 “Za su ci amma ba za su ƙoshi ba; za su shiga karuwanci amma ba za su ƙaru ba, gama sun rabu da Ubangiji don su ba da kansu
and they shall eat, and not have enough; they shall commit whoredom, and shall not increase: for they have left off taking heed to Jehovah.
11 ga karuwanci, ga tsoho da kuma sabon ruwan inabi, waɗanda suka ɗauke ganewar mutanena.
Fornication, and wine, and new wine take away the heart.
12 Sun nemi shawarar gunkin da aka yi da itace suka kuwa sami amsa daga sanda. Halin karuwanci yakan ɓad da su; sun yi rashin aminci ga Allahnsu.
My people ask counsel of their stock, and their staff declareth unto them; for the spirit of whoredoms causeth [them] to err, and they have gone a whoring from under their God:
13 Suna miƙa hadaya a kan ƙwanƙolin duwatsu suna kuma ƙone hadayu a kan tuddai, a ƙarƙashin itatuwa oak, aduruku da katambiri, inda inuwa take da daɗi. Saboda haka’ya’yanku mata suka juya wa karuwanci surukanku mata kuma suka shiga yin zina.
they sacrifice upon the tops of the mountains, and burn incense upon the hills, under oak and poplar and terebinth, because the shade thereof is good; therefore your daughters play the harlot and your daughters-in-law commit adultery.
14 “Ba zan hukunta’ya’yanku mata sa’ad da suka juya ga yin karuwanci ba, balle surukanku mata, sa’ad da suka yi zina, gama mazan da kansu suna ma’amala da karuwai suna kuma miƙa hadaya tare da karuwai na masujada, mutane marasa ganewa za su lalace!
I will not punish your daughters when they play the harlot, nor your daughters-in-law for their committing adultery; for they themselves go aside with harlots, and they sacrifice with prostitutes: and the people that doth not understand shall come to ruin.
15 “Ko da yake kun yi zina, ya Isra’ila, kada Yahuda ya yi laifi. “Kada ku tafi Gilgal; kada ku haura zuwa Bet-Awen. Kuma kada ku rantse cewa, ‘Muddin Ubangiji yana a raye!’
Though thou, Israel, play the harlot, let not Judah trespass; and come ye not unto Gilgal, neither go up to Beth-aven, nor swear [As] Jehovah liveth!
16 Isra’ilawa masu taurinkai ne, kamar karsana mai taurinkai. Yaya Ubangiji zai iya kiwonsu kamar tumaki a makiyaya mai ɗanyar ciyawa?
For Israel is refractory as an untractable heifer; now will Jehovah feed them as a lamb in a wide [pasture].
17 Efraim ya haɗa kai da gumaka; ku ƙyale shi kurum!
— Ephraim is joined to idols: leave him alone.
18 Ko ma sa’ad da abin shansu ya ƙare, sai suka ci gaba da karuwancinsu; masu mulkinsu suna ƙaunar abin kunya.
Their drink is sour; they give themselves up to whoredom; her great men passionately love [their] shame.
19 Guguwa za tă share su, hadayunsu kuma za su jawo musu abin kunya.
The wind hath wrapped her up in its wings, and they shall be ashamed because of their sacrifices.
