Ezra 7
1 Bayan waɗannan abubuwa, a zamanin Artazerzes sarkin Farisa, sai Ezra ɗan Serahiya, ɗan Azariya, ɗan Hilkiya,
Now after these things, in the reigne of Artahshashte King of Persia, was Ezra the sonne of Seraiah, the sonne of Azariah, the sonne of Hilkiah,
2 ɗan Shallum, ɗan Zadok, ɗan Ahitub,
The sonne of Shallum, the sonne of Zadok, the sonne of Ahitub,
3 ɗan Amariya, ɗan Azariya, ɗan Merahiyot,
The sonne of Amariah, the sonne of Azariah, the sonne of Meraioth,
4 ɗan Zerahiya, ɗan Uzzi, ɗan Bukki,
The sonne of Zeraiah, the sonne of Vzzi, the sonne of Bukki,
5 ɗan Abishuwa, ɗan Finehas, ɗan Eleyazar, ɗan Haruna babban firist.
The sonne of Abishua, the sonne of Phinehas, the sonne of Eleazar, the sonne of Aaron, the chiefe Priest.
6 Shi Ezra ɗin ya zo daga Babilon. Shi malami ne ya kuma san Dokar Musa sosai wadda Ubangiji, Allah na Isra’ila ya bayar. Sarki ya ba shi duk abin da ya roƙa, gama Ubangiji Allahnsa yana tare da shi.
This Ezra came vp from Babel, and was a Scribe prompt in the Lawe of Moses, which the Lord God of Israel had giuen, and the King gaue him all his request according to the hande of the Lord his God which was vpon him.
7 Waɗansu Isra’ilawa, haɗe da firistoci, da Lawiyawa, da mawaƙa, da masu tsaron ƙofofi, da masu aiki a haikali su ma suka zo Urushalima a shekara ta bakwai a zamanin mulkin sarki Artazerzes.
And there went vp certaine of the children of Israel, and of the Priests, and the Leuites, and the singers, and the porters, and the Nethinims vnto Ierusalem, in the seuenth yere of King Artahshashte.
8 Ezra ya iso Urushalima a wata na biyar na shekara ta bakwai na kama mulkin sarkin.
And hee came to Ierusalem in the fift moneth, which was in the seuenth yeere of the King.
9 Ya fara tafiyarsa daga Babilon a rana ta farko ga watan farko, ya kuma iso Urushalima a rana ta farko ga watan biyar, gama alherin Allahnsa yana tare da shi.
For vpon the first day of the first moneth began he to goe vp from Babel, and on the first day of the fift moneth came he to Ierusalem, according to the good hande of his God that was vpon him.
10 Gama Ezra ya miƙa kansa ga bincike da kuma kiyaye Dokar Ubangiji, da kuma koya wa Isra’ilawa dokoki da kuma umarnan Ubangiji.
For Ezra had prepared his heart to seeke the Lawe of the Lord, and to doe it, and to teach the precepts and iudgements in Israel.
11 Ga wasiƙar da sarki Artazerzes ya ba Ezra wanda yake firist da kuma malami, mutumin da yake cike da sani game da dokoki da kuma umarnan Ubangiji wa Isra’ila.
And this is the copie of the letter that King Artahshashte gaue vnto Ezra the Priest and scribe, euen a writer of the words of the commadements of ye Lord, and of his statutes ouer Israel.
12 Artazerzes, sarkin sarakuna. Zuwa ga Ezra firist, malamin Dokar Allah na sama. Gaisuwa.
ARTAHSHASHTE King of Kings to Ezra the Priest and perfite scribe of the Lawe of the God of heauen, and to Cheeneth.
13 Yanzu ina ba da umarni cewa duk wani mutumin Isra’ilan da yake cikin mulkina, haɗe da firistoci, da Lawiyawa, da suke so su tafi tare da kai zuwa Urushalima za su iya tafiya.
I haue giuen commandement, that euery one, that is willing in my kingdome of the people of Israel, and of the Priestes, and Leuites to goe to Ierusalem with thee, shall goe.
14 Sarki ne da mashawartansa guda bakwai suka aike ka don ka je ka ga halin da Yahuda da Urushalima suke ciki game da dokokin Allahnka, waɗanda suke a hannunka.
Therefore art thou sent of the King and his seuen counsellers, to enquire in Iudah and Ierusalem, according to the lawe of thy God, which is in thine hand,
15 Za ka kuma tafi da zinariya da azurfa waɗanda sarki da mashawartansa suka ba da kyautar yardar rai ga Allah na Isra’ila, wanda haikalinsa ke a Urushalima,
And to carry the siluer and the gold, which the King and his cousellers willingly offer vnto the God of Israel (whose habitation is in Ierusalem)
16 haɗe da duk zinariya da azurfan da za ka iya samu a Babilon, da kuma duk bayarwar yardar rai daga mutane da firistoci, domin haikalin Allahnsu da yake a Urushalima.
And all the siluer and gold that thou canst finde in all the prouince of Babel, with the free offring of the people, and that which the Priestes offer willingly to the house of their God which is in Ierusalem,
17 Ka tabbata ka yi amfani da kuɗin nan don ka sayi bijimai, da raguna, da’yan raguna, da hadayu na gari, da na sha, ka kuma miƙa su a kan bagade na haikalin Allahnka a Urushalima.
That thou mayest bye speedily with this siluer, bullocks, rammes, lambes, with their meate offrings and their drinke offrings: and thou shalt offer them vpon the altar of the house of your God, which is in Ierusalem.
18 Sa’an nan kai da’yan’uwanka Yahudawa ku yi abin da kuka ga ya fi kyau da sauran zinariya da azurfa ɗin bisa ga nufin Allah.
And whatsoeuer it pleaseth thee and thy brethren to do with the rest of the siluer, and gold, doe ye it according to the will of your God.
19 Ka kai wa Allah na Urushalima duk kayan da aka ba ka amanarsu don yin sujada a haikalin Allahnka.
And the vessels that are giuen thee for the seruice of the house of thy God, those deliuer thou before God in Ierusalem.
20 Duk kuma wani abin da ake bukata domin haikalin Allahnka, daga ɗakunan ajiya sarki za ka fitar da kuɗin.
And the residue that shall be needeful for the house of thy God, which shall be meete for thee to bestowe, thou shalt bestowe it out of the Kings treasure house,
21 Yanzu fa ni, Sarki Artazerzes, ina ba da umarni ga kowane ma’aji na Kewayen Kogin Yuferites su tanada duk abin da Ezra firist, wanda kuma yake malamin Dokar Allah na sama zai bukaci,
And I King Artahshashte haue giuen commandemet to all the treasurers which are beyond the Riuer, that whatsoeuer Ezra the Priest and Scribe of the Law of the God of heauen shall require of you, that it be done incontinently,
22 har zuwa talenti ɗari na azurfa, da mudu ɗari na alkama, da garwa ɗari na ruwan inabi, da garwa ɗari na man zaitun, da kuma gishiri ba iyaka.
Vnto an hundreth talents of siluer, vnto an hundreth measures of wheate, and vnto an hundreth baths of wine, and vnto an hundreth baths of oyle, and salt without writing.
23 A yi duk abin da Allah na sama ya ce don haikalin Allah na sama, sai a yi shi da himma. Me zai sa a jawo wa sarki da’ya’yansa fushin Allah?
Whatsoeuer is by the commandement of the God of heauen, let it be done speedily for the house of the God of heauen: for why should he be wroth against the realme of the King, and his children?
24 Ku kuma san cewa, ba ku da ikon sa firistoci, da Lawiyawa, da mawaƙa, da masu tsaron ƙofofin haikali, da masu aiki a gidan Allah, ko waɗansu masu aiki a haikali su biya haraji, ko kuɗin shiga.
And we certifie you, that vpon any of the Priestes, Leuites, singers, porters, Nethinims, or Ministers in this house of God, there shall no gouernour laye vpon them tolle, tribute nor custome.
25 Kai kuma Ezra, bisa ga hikimar da Allah ya ba ka, sai ka zaɓi mahukunta da alƙalai waɗanda za su zama masu yanke hukunci ga dukan mutanen Kewayen Kogin Yuferites, duk waɗanda suka san dokokin Allahnka, ka kuma koya wa duk waɗanda ba su san dokokin ba.
And thou Ezra (after the wisedome of thy God, that is in thine hand) set iudges and arbiters, which may iudge all the people that is beyond the Riuer, euen all that knowe the Lawe of thy God, and teach ye them that know it not.
26 Ba shakka duk wanda bai yi biyayya da dokokin Allahnka ba, da kuma dokokin sarki ba dole a yanke masa hukuncin kisa, ko hukuncin kora, ko hukuncin raba shi da mallakarsa, ko kuma hukuncin kulle shi a kurkuku.
And whosoeuer will not doe the Lawe of thy God, and the Kings lawe, let him haue iudgement without delay, whether it be vnto death, or to banishment, or to confiscation of goods, or to imprisonment.
27 Yabo ya tabbata ga Ubangiji Allah na kakanninmu, ya taɓa zuciyar sarki don yă kawo ɗaukaka ga haikalin Allah a Urushalima ta wannan hanya.
Blessed be the Lord God of our fathers, which so hath put in the Kings heart, to beautifie the house of the Lord that is in Ierusalem,
28 Wanda kuma ya sa na sami tagomashi a gaban sarki da mashawartansa, da kuma duk manyan masu muƙami nasa. Gama Ubangiji Allahna yana tare da ni, sai na sami ƙarfin hali na tattara shugabannin mutane daga Isra’ila, don mu tafi tare.
And hath enclined mercy toward me, before the King and his counsellers, and before all the Kings mightie Princes: and I was comforted by the hand of the Lord my God which was vpon me, and I gathered the chiefe of Israel to goe vp with me.
