1 Sa’an nan Musa da Isra’ilawa suka rera wannan waƙa ga Ubangiji suka ce, “Zan rera waƙa ga Ubangiji gama an ɗaukaka shi ƙwarai. Doki da mahayinsa ya jefa su cikin teku.
Then Moses [Drawn out] and the children of Israel [God prevails] sang this song to Adonai, and said, “I will sing to Adonai, for he has triumphed gloriously. The horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.
2 “Ubangiji ne ƙarfina da mafakata, ya zama cetona. Shi Allahna ne, zan yabe shi. Allah na kakana, zan ɗaukaka shi.
Yah is my strength and song. He has become my yishu'ah ·salvation·. This is my God, and I will praise him; my father’s God, and I will exalt him.
3 Ubangiji mai yaƙi ne Ubangiji ne sunansa.
Adonai is a man of war. Yahweh [He sustains breathing] is his name.
4 Karusan Fir’auna da sojojinsa ya jefa cikin teku. Zaɓaɓɓun jarumawansa ya nutsar da su cikin Bahar Maliya.
He has cast Pharaoh’s chariots and his army into the sea. His chosen captains are sunk in the Sea of Suf [Reed Sea].
5 Zurfafan ruwaye sun rufe su; suka nutse cikin zurfi kamar dutse.
The deeps cover them. They went down into the depths like a stone.
6 Hannun damanka, ya Ubangiji, Mai kwarjini ne da iko, hannun damanka, ya Ubangiji, ya farfashe magabci.
Your right hand, Adonai, is glorious in power. Your right hand, Adonai, dashes the enemy in pieces.
7 “A cikin girman kwarjininka ka kā da waɗanda sun yi gāba da kai. Ka aiki fushinka mai zafi ya cinye su kamar tattaka.
In the greatness of your excellency, you overthrow those who rise up against you. You send out your wrath. It consumes them as stubble.
8 Da hucin numfashin hancinka ruwaye suka tattaru. Ruwaye masu kwararowa, suka tsaya kamar bango; ruwaye na zurfafa suka daskare a tsakiyar teku.
With the blast of your nostrils, the waters piled up! The floods stood upright as a heap. The deeps were congealed in the heart of the sea.
9 Magabci ya yi fahariya, cewa ‘Zan fafare su, in ci musu. Zan raba ganima; abin da na so ya samu. Zan ja takobina hannuna kuwa zai hallaka su.’
The enemy said, ‘I will pursue. I will overtake. I will divide the plunder. My desire shall be satisfied on them. I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.’
10 Amma ka hura numfashinka sai teku ya rufe su. Suka nutse kamar darma cikin manyan ruwaye.
You blew with your wind. The sea covered them. They sank like lead in the mighty waters.
11 Wane ne cikin alloli, ya yi kamar ka, ya Ubangiji? Wane ne kamar ka, mai ɗaukaka cikin tsarki, mai banrazana cikin ɗaukaka, mai aikata al’ajabai?
Who is like you, Adonai, among the deities? Who is like you, glorious in holiness, fearful in tehilah ·praise song·, doing wonders?
12 “Ka miƙa hannunka na dama, ƙasa ta haɗiye abokan gābanka.
You stretched out your right hand. The earth swallowed them.
13 A cikin ƙaunarka marar iyaka, za ka bishe mutanen da ka fansa. A cikin ƙarfinka, za ka bishe su zuwa mazauninka mai tsarki.
“You, in your chesed ·loving-kindness·, have led the people that you have redeemed. You have guided them in your strength to your holy habitation.
14 Al’ummai za su ji, su yi rawar jiki tsoro zai kama mutanen Filistiya.
The peoples have sh'ma ·heard obeyed·. They tremble. Pangs have taken hold on the inhabitants of Philistia.
15 Sarakunan Edom za su tsorata, shugabannin Mowab za su yi rawar jiki, mutanen Kan’ana za su narke.
Then the chiefs of Edom [Red] were dismayed. Trembling takes hold of the mighty men of Moab [From father]. All the inhabitants of Canaan [Humbled] have melted away.
16 Razana da tsoro za su fāɗo a kansu. Da ikon hannunka za su tsaya cik kamar dutse, har sai mutanen da ka kawo sun wuce, ya Ubangiji.
Terror and dread falls on them. By the greatness of your arm they are as still as a stone— until your people pass over, Adonai, until the people pass over who you have purchased.
17 Za ka kawo su, ka dasa su a kan dutsen nan naka inda, ya Ubangiji, ka shirya domin mazauninka, wuri mai tsarkin da hannuwanka suka kafa, ya Ubangiji.
You shall bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of your inheritance, the place, Adonai, which you have made for yourself to dwell in; the sanctuary, Lord, which your hands have established.
18 “Ubangiji zai yi mulki har abada abadin.”
Adonai shall reign forever and ever.”
19 Sa’ad da dawakai, kekunan yaƙi da mahayan dawakan Fir’auna suka shiga cikin teku, Ubangiji ya mayar da ruwan teku a kansu, amma Isra’ilawa suka wuce a cikin teku a busasshiyar ƙasa.
For the horses of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and Adonai brought back the waters of the sea on them; but the children of Israel [God prevails] walked on dry land in the middle of the sea.
20 Sa’an nan Miriyam annabiya,’yar’uwar Haruna ta ɗauki ganga a hannunta, dukan mata kuwa suka bi ta, da ganguna suna rawa.
Miriam [Rebellion] the prophetess, the sister of Aaron [Light-bringer], took a tambourine in her hand; and all the women went out after her with tambourines and with dances.
21 Miriyam ta yi musu waƙa. “Ku rera ga Ubangiji gama ya ci gawurtacciyar nasara. Doki da mahayi, ya jefa cikin teku.”
Miriam [Rebellion] answered them, “Sing to Adonai, for he has triumphed. The horse and his rider he has thrown into the sea.”
22 Sai Musa ya jagoranci Isra’ila daga jan teku zuwa hamadar Shur. Kwana uku suka yi tafiya cikin hamada ba su sami ruwa ba.
Moses [Drawn out] led Israel [God prevails] onward from the Sea of Suf [Reed Sea], and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.
23 Da suka zo Mara, ba su iya shan ruwan ba saboda yana da ɗaci (shi ya sa ake kira wurin Mara).
When they came to Marah [Bitter], they couldn’t drink from the waters of Marah [Bitter], for they were bitter. Therefore its name was called Marah [Bitter].
24 Sai mutanen suka yi gunaguni a kan Musa, suna cewa, “Me za mu sha?”
The people murmured against Moses [Drawn out], saying, “What shall we drink?”
25 Sai Musa ya yi kuka ga Ubangiji, Ubangiji kuwa ya nuna masa wani itace. Sai ya jefa shi cikin ruwan, sai ruwan ya zama mai daɗi. A can Ubangiji ya yi musu doka da farilla, a can kuma ya gwada su.
Then he cried to Adonai. Adonai showed him a tree, and he threw it into the waters, and the waters were made sweet. There he made a statute and a judgement for them, and there he tested them;
26 Ya ce, “In kun kasa kunne ga muryar Ubangiji Allahnku kuka yi abin da yake daidai a idanunsa, in kun mai da hankali ga umarnansa, kuka kiyaye dukan farillansa, ba zan kawo muku wani ciwon da na kawo a kan Masarawa ba, gama ni ne Ubangiji da nake warkar da ku.”
and he said, “If you will sh'ma ·hear obey· sh'ma ·hear obey· Adonai your God’s voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his mitzvot ·instructions·, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians [people from Abode of slavery]; for I am I am Yahweh Rafa' [Yahweh your Physician, Yahweh your Healer].”
27 Sai suka zo Elim inda akwai maɓulɓulan ruwa goma sha biyu da itatuwan dabino saba’in, suka sauka a can, kusa da ruwa.
They came to Elim, where there were twelve springs of water, and seventy palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters.
