8 Bisa ga umarnin sarki, aka bar kowane baƙo yă sha yadda ya ga dama, gama sarki ya umarci dukan bayin da suke rarraba ruwan inabin su ba wa kowa abin da yake so.

Therfor in the seuenthe dai, whanne the kyng was gladdere, and was hoot of wiyn aftir ful myche drinkyng, he comaundide Nauman, and Baracha, and Arbana, and Gabatha, and Zarath, and Abgatha, and Charchas, seuene oneste and chast seruauntis, `that mynistriden in his siyt,
11 su kawo Sarauniya Bashti a gabansa, sanye da rawanin sarautarta, don ta nuna kyanta wa mutane da kuma hakimai, gama ita kyakkyawa ce ƙwarai.
that thei schulden brynge in bifor the kyng the queen Vasti, with a diademe set on hir heed, to schewe hir fairnesse to alle the puplis and prynces; for sche was ful fair.
12 Amma da masu hidima suka ba da umarnin sarki, sai Sarauniya Bashti ta ƙi zuwa. Wannan ya ɓata wa sarki rai, ya kuma yi fushi ƙwarai.
And sche forsook, and dispiside to come at the comaundement of the kyng, which he hadde sent bi the oneste and chast seruauntes. Wherfor the kyng was wrooth, and kyndlid bi fulgreet woodnesse; and he axide the wise men,

14 suke kuma mafi kusa da sarki. Waɗannan masu hikima kuwa su ne, Karshena, Shetar, Admata, Tarshish, Meres, Marsena da kuma Memukan. Su hakimai bakwai ne na Farisa da Mediya waɗanda suke da dama ta musamman ta kaiwa ga sarki, suke kuma da matsayi mafi girma a masarautar.

And Manucha answeride, in audience of the kyng and of the pryncis, The queen Vasthi hath not oneli dispisid the kyng, but alle the pryncis and puplis, that ben in alle prouynces of kyng Assuerus.

20 Ta haka, sa’ad da aka yi shelar dokar sarki ko’ina a fāɗin masarautarsa, dukan mata za su ba wa mazansu girma, daga ƙarami har zuwa babba.”

21 Sarki da hakimansa suka gamsu da wannan shawara. Saboda haka sarki ya yi kamar yadda Memukan ya faɗa.
