< Maimaitawar Shari’a 8 >
1 Ku hankali, ku bi kowane umarnin da nake ba ku a yau, saboda ku rayu, ku ƙaru, ku kuma shiga, ku mallaki ƙasar da Ubangiji ya alkawarta da rantsuwa ga kakanninku.
You shall observe to do all the commands which I charge you today, that you may live and be multiplied, and enter in and inherit the land, which the Lord your God sware [to give] to your fathers.
2 Ku tuna yadda Ubangiji Allahnku ya bishe ku a dukan hanya, a cikin hamada waɗannan shekaru arba’in, don yă ƙasƙantar da ku, yă kuma gwada ku don yă san abin da yake a zuciyarku, ko za ku kiyaye umarnansa, ko babu.
And you shall remember all the way which the Lord your God led you in the wilderness, that he might afflict you, and try you, and that the things in your heart might be made manifest, whether you would keep his commandments or no.
And he afflicted you and straitened you with hunger, and fed you with manna, which your fathers knew not; that he might teach you that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God shall man live.
4 Tufafinku ba su yayyage ba, ƙafafunku kuma ba su kumbura ba a waɗannan shekaru arba’in.
Your garments grew not old from off you, your shoes were not worn from off you, your feet were not [painfully] hardened, behold! these forty years.
5 Sai ku sani fa a cikin zuciyarku cewa kamar yadda mutum kan horar da ɗansa, haka Ubangiji Allahnku ke horar da ku.
And you shall know in your heart, that as if any man should chasten his son, so the Lord your God will chasten you.
6 Ku kiyaye umarnan Ubangiji Allahnku, kuna tafiya cikin hanyoyinsa, kuna kuma girmama shi.
And you shall keep the commands of the Lord your God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.
7 Gama Ubangiji Allahnku yana fitar da ku zuwa cikin ƙasa mai kyau, ƙasa mai rafuffuka da tafkunan ruwa, tare da maɓulɓulai masu gudu a kwari da tuddai;
For the Lord your God will bring you into a good and extensive land, where there are torrents of waters, and fountains of deep places issuing through the plains and through the mountains:
8 ƙasa mai alkama da sha’ir, inabi da ɓaure, rumman, man zaitun da zuma;
a land of wheat and barley, [wherein are] vines, figs, pomegranates; a land of olive oil and honey;
9 ƙasa inda abinci ba zai yi ƙaranci ba, ba kuma za ku rasa kome ba; ƙasa ce inda ƙarfe ne duwatsunta, ana kuma haƙar tagulla a tuddanta.
a land on which you shall not eat your bread with poverty, and you shall not lack any thing upon it; a land whose stones are iron, and out of its mountains you shall dig brass.
And you shall eat and be filled, and shall bless the Lord your God on the good land, which he has given you.
11 Ku yi hankali cewa ba ku manta da Ubangiji Allahnku, har ku kāsa kiyaye umarnansa, dokokinsa da ƙa’idodinsa da nake ba ku a wannan rana ba.
Take heed to yourself that you forget not the Lord your God, so as not to keep his commands, and his judgments, and ordinances, which I command you this day:
12 To, sa’ad da kuka ci, kuka ƙoshi, sa’ad da kuka gina gidaje masu kyau, kuka zauna,
lest when you have eaten and are full, and have built goodly houses, and lived in them;
and your oxen and your sheep are multiplied to you, and your silver and your gold are multiplied to you, and all your possessions are multiplied to you,
14 to, sai ku lura, kada ku ɗaukaka kanku, har ku manta da Ubangiji Allahnku, wanda ya fitar da ku daga Masar, daga ƙasar bauta kuma.
you should be exalted in heart, and forget the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage:
15 Ya bishe ku cikin hamada mai fāɗi, mai bantsoro, wannan busasshiyar ƙasa wadda ba ta da ruwa, ga macizai masu dafi da kuma kunamai. Ya ba ku ruwa daga dutsen ƙanƙara.
who brought you through that great and terrible wilderness, where [is] the biting serpent, and scorpion, and drought, where there was no water; who brought you a fountain of water out of the flinty rock:
16 Ya ba ku Manna don ku ci a cikin hamada, wani abin da kakanninku ba su taɓa sani ba, don yă ƙasƙantar yă kuma gwada ku, saboda yă yi muku alheri daga baya.
who fed you with manna in the wilderness, which you knew not, and your fathers knew not; that he might afflict you, and thoroughly try you, and do you good in your latter days.
Lest you should say in your heart, My strength, and the power of mine hand have wrought for me this great wealth.
But you shall remember the Lord your God, that he gives you strength to get wealth; even that he may establish his covenant, which the Lord sware to your fathers, as at this day.
19 In kuka manta da Ubangiji Allahnku, kuka kuma bi waɗansu alloli, kuka yi musu sujada, kuka kuma rusuna musu, to, a yau ina gargaɗe ku cewa tabbatacce za a hallaka ku.
And it shall come to pass if you do at all forget the Lord your God, and should go after other gods, and serve them, and worship them, I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that you shall surely perish.
20 Kamar al’ummai da Ubangiji ya hallakar kafin ku, haka zai hallaka ku, domin ba ku yi biyayya da muryar Ubangiji Allahnku ba.
As also the other nations which the Lord God destroys before your face, so shall you perish, because you listened not to the voice of the Lord your God.
