< Ayyukan Manzanni 27 >
1 Sa’ad da aka yanke shawara cewa za mu tashi a jirgin ruwa zuwa Italiya, sai aka danƙa Bulus da waɗansu’yan kurkuku a hannun wani jarumin mai suna Juliyos, wanda yake na Bataliyar Babban Sarki.
And when it was determined that we should sail into Italy, they delivered Paul and certain other prisoners to [one] named Julius, a centurion of Augustus' band.
2 Muka shiga jirgin ruwa daga Andiramitiyum wanda yake shirin tashi zuwa tasoshin da suke bakin tekun lardin Asiya, sai muka kama tafiya. Aristarkus, mutumin Makidoniya daga Tessalonika, yana tare da mu.
And entering into a ship of Adramyttium, we lanched, meaning to sail by the coasts of Asia, [one] Aristarchus, a Macedonian of Thessalonica, being with us.
3 Kashegari muka sauka a Sidon; Juliyos kuwa, cikin alheri ga Bulus, ya bar shi yă je wajen abokansa domin su biya masa bukatunsa.
And the next [day] we touched at Sidon. And Julius courteously treated Paul, and gave [him] liberty to go to his friends to refresh himself.
4 Daga can kuma muka sāke kama tafiya muka zaga ta bayan tsibirin Saifurus saboda iska tana gāba da mu.
And when we had lanched from thence, we sailed under Cyprus, because the winds were contrary.
And when we had sailed over the sea of Cilicia and Pamphylia, we came to Mira, [a city] of Lycia.
And there the centurion found a ship of Alexandria sailing into Italy; and he put us therein.
And when we had sailed slowly many days, and scarce had come over against Cnidus, the wind not suffering us, we sailed under Crete, over against Salmone:
8 Muka ci gaba a gefen gaɓar da ƙyar har muka iso wani wurin da ake kira Kyakkyawan Mafaka, kusa da garin Laseya.
And hardly passing it, came to a place which is called, The fair havens; nigh to which was the city [of] Lasea.
9 An riga an ɓata lokaci da yawa, tafiya kuwa ta riga ta zama da hatsari domin a lokacin Azumi ya riga ta wuce. Saboda haka Bulus ya gargaɗe su,
Now when much time was spent, and when sailing was now dangerous, because the fast was now already past, Paul admonished [them].
And said to them, Sirs, I perceive that this voyage will be with hurt and much damage, not only of the lading and ship, but also of our lives.
Nevertheless, the centurion believed the master and the owner of the ship more than the things which were spoken by Paul.
12 Da yake tashar jirgin ruwan ba tă dace a ci damina a can ba, yawanci suka ba yanke shawara cewa mu ci gaba da tafiya, da bege za mu kai Funis mu ci damina a can. Wannan tashar jirgin ruwa ne a Kirit, tana fuskantar kudu maso yamma da kuma arewa maso yamma.
And because the haven was not commodious to winter in, the greater part advised to depart thence also, if by any means they might attain to Phenice, [and there] to winter; [which is] a haven of Crete, and lieth towards the south-west and north-west.
13 Da iska ta fara busowa daga kudu a hankali, sai suka yi tsammani sun sami abin da suke nema; saboda haka suka janye ƙugiyar jirgin ruwa suka bi ta gefen tsibirin Kirit.
And when the south wind blew softly, supposing that they had obtained [their] purpose, loosing [thence], they sailed close by Crete.
14 Ba a jima ba, sai ga wata guguwar iska mai ƙarfin da ake kira “’Yar arewa maso gabas,” ta buga daga tsibirin.
But not long after there arose against it a tempestuous wind, called Euroclydon.
15 Iskar ta ci ƙarfin jirgin ruwan har ya kāsa fuskantar iskar; saboda haka muka sallamar mata tă yi ta tura mu.
And when the ship was caught, and could not bear up into the wind, we let [her] drive.
16 Da muka bi ta bayan wani ɗan tsibirin da ake kira Kauda, da ƙyar muka jawo ɗan ƙaramin jirgin kusa da jirgin.
And running under a certain isle which is called Clauda, we had much work to come by the boat:
17 Da mutanen suka jawo shi cikin babban jirgin ruwan, sai suka sa igiyoyi ta ƙarƙashin jirgin ruwan kanta don su ɗaɗɗaura shi. Don gudun kada a fyaɗa mu da yashin gaɓar Sirtis, sai suka saukar da ƙugiyar jirgin ruwan, suka bari aka yi ta tura jirgin haka.
Which when they had taken up, they used helps, undergirding the ship; and fearing lest they should fall into the quicksands, struck sail, and so were driven.
And we being exceedingly tossed with a tempest, the next [day] they lightened the ship;
19 A rana ta uku, da hannuwansu suka jefar da kayan aikin jirgin ruwan a cikin teku.
And the third [day] we cast out with our own hands the tackling of the ship.
And when neither sun nor stars in many days appeared, and no small tempest lay on [us], all hope that we should be saved was then taken away.
But after long abstinence, Paul stood forth in the midst of them, and said, Sirs, ye should have hearkened to me, and not have loosed from Crete, and to have gained this harm and loss.
22 Amma yanzu ina ƙarfafa ku ku yi ƙarfin hali, domin ba ɗayanku da zai rasa ransa; jirgin ruwan ne kaɗai zai hallaka.
And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of life among you, but of the ship.
For there stood by me this night the angel of God, whose I am, and whom I serve,
24 ya ce, ‘Kada ka ji tsoro, Bulus. Lalle za ka tsaya a gaban Kaisar a yi maka shari’a; Allah kuma cikin alherinsa ya ba ka dukan rayukan mutanen da suke tafiya tare da kai.’
Saying, Fear not, Paul; thou must be brought before Cesar: and lo, God hath given thee all them that sail with thee.
25 Saboda haka ku yi ƙarfin hali, ku jama’a, gama gaskata Allah a kan cewa yadda aka faɗa mini ɗin nan, haka zai faru.
Wherefore, sirs, be of good cheer: for I believe God, that it will be even as it was told to me.
26 Duk da haka, dole a fyaɗa mu a wani tsibiri.”
But we must be cast upon a certain isle.
27 A dare na goma sha huɗu iska dai tana ta korarmu a Tekun Adiriyatik, wajen tsakar dare sai masu tuƙin jirgin suka zaci sun yi kusa da ƙasa.
When the fourteenth night was come, as we were driven up and down in Adria, about midnight the shipmen suspected that they drew near to some country:
28 Sai suka gwada zurfin ruwan suka ga ya kai ƙafa ɗari da ashirin. Bayan ɗan lokaci kaɗan suka sāke gwadawa suka ga zurfin ya kai ƙafa tasa’in.
And sounded, and found [it] twenty fathoms: and when they had gone a little further, they sounded again, and found [it] fifteen fathoms.
29 Don gudun kada a fyaɗa mu a kan duwatsu, sai suka saki ƙugiyoyin jirgin guda huɗu daga bayan jirgin suka yi fata gari ya waye.
Then fearing lest we should fall upon rocks, they cast four anchors out of the stern, and wished for the day.
30 Cikin ƙoƙarin tserewa daga jirgin, sai masu tuƙin jirgin suka saukar da ɗan ƙaramin jirgin ruwan cikin tekun, suka yi kamar za su saki waɗansu ƙugiyoyi daga sashen gaba na babban jirgin ne.
And as the shipmen were about to flee out of the ship, when they had let down the boat into the sea, under color as though they would cast anchors out of the foreship,
31 Sai Bulus ya ce wa jarumin da kuma sojojin, “In mutanen nan ba su tsaya a cikin jirgin nan ba, ba za ku tsira ba.”
Paul said to the centurion, and to the soldiers, Except these abide in the ship, ye cannot be saved.
Then the soldiers cut off the ropes of the boat, and let her fall off.
Ya ce, “Kwana goma sha huɗu ke nan, kuna zama cikin zulumi kun kuma kasance ba abinci, ba ku ci kome ba.
And while the day was coming on, Paul besought [them] all to take food, saying, This day is the fourteenth day that ye have tarried, and continued fasting, having taken nothing.
34 Ina roƙonku yanzu ku ci abinci. Kuna bukatarsa don ku rayu. Ba ɗayanku da zai rasa ko gashin kansa guda ɗaya.”
Wherefore I pray you to take [some] food; for this is for your health: for there shall not a hair fall from the head of any of you.
35 Bayan da ya faɗi haka, sai ya ɗauki burodi ya yi godiya ga Allah a gabansu duka. Sa’an nan ya gutsuttsura ya fara ci.
And when he had thus spoken, he took bread, and gave thanks to God in presence of them all; and when he had broken [it], he began to eat.
36 Dukansu kuwa suka sami ƙarfafawa, suka kuma ci abinci.
Then they were all of good cheer, and they also took food.
37 Dukanmu a jirgin kuwa mutane 276 ne.
And we were in all in the ship two hundred and seventy six souls.
And when they had eaten enough, they lightened the ship, and cast the wheat into the sea.
And when it was day, they knew not the land: but they discovered a certain creek with a shore, into which they purposed, if it were possible, to thrust in the ship.
40 Da suka yanke ƙugiyoyin, sai suka bar su a cikin teku a lokaci guda kuma suka ɓalle maɗaurin abin juya jirgin. Sai suka tā da filafilan gaban jirgin daidai yadda iska za tă tura shi gaba, sa’an nan suka nufi gaci.
And when they had taken up the anchors, they committed [themselves] to the sea, and loosed the rudder bands, and hoisted the mainsail to the wind, and made towards the shore.
41 Amma jirgin ruwan ya shiga yashi ya kafe. Kan jirgin ya shiga cikin yashin ya kāsa motsi, sai jirgin ya fara farfashewa ta baya saboda haukan raƙuman ruwa.
And falling into a place where two seas met, they ran the ship aground; and the forepart stuck fast, and remained immovable, but the hinder part was broken with the violence of the waves.
42 Sojojin suka yi niyya su kakkashe’yan kurkukun don hana waninsu yă yi iyo yă tsere.
And the soldiers' counsel was to kill the prisoners, lest any of them should swim out, and escape.
But the centurion, willing to save Paul, kept them from [their] purpose, and commanded that they who could swim, should cast [themselves] first [into the sea], and get to land:
44 Sauran kuma su bi katakai zuwa can ko kuma a kan tarkacen jirgin ruwan. Ta haka kowa ya kai bakin teku lafiya.
And the rest, some on boards, and some on [broken pieces] of the ship: And so it came to pass, that they all escaped safe to land.
