Ayyukan Manzanni 25
1 Kwana uku bayan isowa a lardin, sai Festus ya haura daga Kaisariya zuwa Urushalima,
Now when Festus had come into the province, after three days he went up from Caesarea to Jerusalem.
2 inda manyan firistoci da shugabannin Yahudawa suka bayyana a gabansa suka kuma gabatar da ƙararsu a kan Bulus.
Then the high priest and the chief of the Jews informed him against Paul, and besought him,
3 Suka roƙi Festus a gaggauce a matsayin alfarma gare su, da yă sa a mai da Bulus Urushalima, gama sun’yan kwanto su kashe shi a hanya.
And desired favour against him, that he would send for him to Jerusalem, laying wait in the way to kill him.
4 Festus ya amsa ya ce, “Bulus yana tsare a Kaisariya, ni da kaina kuma zan je can ba da daɗewa ba.
But Festus answered, that Paul should be kept at Caesarea, and that he himself would depart shortly there.
5 Ku sa waɗansu daga cikin shugabanninku su tafi tare da ni su kawo ƙararsu a kan mutumin a can, in ya aikata wani laifi.”
Let them therefore, said he, who among you are able, go down with me, and accuse this man, if there is any wickedness in him.
6 Bayan ya yi kwanaki takwas ko goma tare da su, sai ya gangara zuwa Kaisariya, kashegari kuma ya kira a yi zaman kotu ya kuma umarta a kawo Bulus a gabansa.
And when he had tarried among them more than ten days, he went down to Caesarea; and the next day sitting on the judgment seat commanded Paul to be brought.
7 Da Bulus ya bayyana, sai Yahudawan da suka gangaro daga Urushalima suka tsaya kewaye shi, suna kawo ƙarar masu tsanani da yawa a kansa, waɗanda ba su iya tabbatarwa ba.
And when he had come, the Jews who came down from Jerusalem stood around, and laid many and grievous complaints against Paul, which they could not prove.
8 Sa’an nan Bulus ya kāre kansa ya ce, “Ban aikata wani laifi game da dokokin Yahudawa ko game da haikali ko kuma game da Kaisar ba.”
While he answered for himself, Neither against the law of the Jews, neither against the temple, nor yet against Caesar, have I committed any offence.
9 Festus, da yake yana so yă yi wa Yahudawa alfarma, sai ya ce wa Bulus, “Ka yarda ka je Urushalima a yi maka shari’a a can a gabana a kan waɗannan zarge?”
But Festus, willing to do the Jews a favour, answered Paul, and said, Wilt thou go to Jerusalem, and there be judged concerning these things before me?
10 Bulus ya amsa ya ce, “Yanzu ina tsaye a gaban kotun Kaisar, inda ya kamata a yi mini shari’a. Ban yi wani laifi ga Yahudawa ba, kai da kanka ma ka san da haka sarai.
Then said Paul, I stand at Caesar’s judgment seat, where I ought to be judged: to the Jews have I done no wrong, as thou very well knowest.
11 In kuwa ina da wani laifin da ya isa kisa, ban ƙi in mutu ba. Amma in ƙarar da waɗannan Yahudawa suka kawo a kaina ba gaskiya ba ne, ba wanda yake da iko ya ba da ni a gare su. Na ɗaukaka ƙara zuwa gaban Kaisar!”
For if I am an offender, or have committed any thing worthy of death, I refuse not to die: but if there is none of these things of which these accuse me, no man may deliver me to them. I appeal to Caesar.
12 Bayan Festus ya yi shawara da majalisarsa sai ya ce, “Ka ɗaukaka ƙara zuwa gaban Kaisar. To, ga Kaisar kuwa za ka tafi!”
Then Festus, when he had conferred with the council, answered, Hast thou appealed to Caesar? to Caesar thou shalt go.
13 Bayan’yan kwanaki sai Sarki Agiriffa da Bernis suka iso Kaisariya don su yi wa Festus gaisuwar bangirma.
And after certain days king Agrippa and Bernice came to Caesarea to greet Festus.
14 Da yake za su yi kwanaki da dama a can, sai Festus ya tattauna batun Bulus da sarki. Ya ce, “Akwai mutumin da Felis ya bari a daure.
And when they had been there many days, Festus declared Paul’s cause to the king, saying, There is a certain man left in bonds by Felix:
15 Sa’ad da na je Urushalima, manyan firistoci da dattawan Yahudawa suka kawo ƙara game da shi suka kuma nema a hukunta shi.
About whom, when I was at Jerusalem, the chief priests and the elders of the Jews informed me, desiring to have judgment against him.
16 “Na gaya musu cewa ba al’adar Romawa ba ce a hukunta mutum kafin ya fuskanci masu ƙararsa ya kuma sami damar kāre kansa game da ƙararsu.
To whom I answered, It is not the manner of the Romans to deliver any man to die, before he who is accused hath the accusers face to face, and hath opportunity to answer for himself concerning the charge laid against him.
17 Da suka zo nan tare da ni, ban yi wani jinkiri ba, na kira zaman kotu kashegari kuma na umarta a kawo mutumin.
Therefore, when they had come here, without any delay on the next day I sat on the judgment seat, and commanded the man to be brought forth.
18 Sa’ad da masu zarginsa suka tashi tsaye don su yi magana, ba su zarge shi da wani laifin da na yi tsammani ba.
Against whom when the accusers stood up, they brought no accusation of such things as I supposed:
19 A maimako haka, sai suka kawo waɗansu’yan maganganu game da addininsu da ba su yarda da shi ba da kuma game da wani Yesu da ya mutu wanda Bulus ya ce yana da rai.
But had certain questions against him of their own religion, and of one Jesus, who was dead, whom Paul affirmed to be alive.
20 Na rasa yadda zan bincike irin abubuwan nan; saboda haka na yi tambaya ko zai yarda ya tafi Urushalima a yi masa shari’a a can game da waɗannan zargi.
And because I was perplexed concerning such manner of questions, I asked him whether he would go to Jerusalem, and there be judged concerning these matters.
21 Da Bulus ya ɗaukaka ƙara zuwa gaban Babban Sarki sai na umarta a tsare shi har kafin in aika shi zuwa ga Kaisar.”
But when Paul had appealed to be reserved to the hearing of Augustus, I commanded him to be kept till I might send him to Caesar.
22 Sai Agiriffa ya ce wa Festus, “Ni ma zan so in saurari mutumin da kaina.” Sai ya amsa ya ce, “Za ka kuwa ji shi gobe.”
Then Agrippa said to Festus, I would also hear the man myself. To morrow, said he, thou shalt hear him.
23 Kashegari Agiriffa da Bernis suka yi shiga irin ta sarauta suka shiga ɗakin jama’a tare da manyan sojoji da manyan mutanen birni. Da umarnin Festus, sai aka shigo da Bulus.
And on the next day, when Agrippa had come, and Bernice, with great pomp, and had entered into the place of hearing, with the chief captains, and principal men of the city, at the command of Festus Paul was brought forth.
24 Sai Festus ya ce, “Sarki Agiriffa, da kuma dukan waɗanda suke tare da mu, kun ga wannan mutum! Dukan jama’ar Yahudawa sun kawo mini kararsa a Urushalima da kuma a nan Kaisariya, suna kururuwa suna cewa bai kamata a bar shi da rai ba.
And Festus said, King Agrippa, and all men who are here present with us, ye see this man, about whom all the multitude of the Jews have dealt with me, both at Jerusalem, and also here, crying that he ought not to live any longer.
25 Ban same shi da wani laifin da ya isa kisa ba, amma saboda ya ɗaukaka ƙararsa zuwa gaban Babban Sarki sai na yanke shawara in aika da shi Roma.
But when I found that he had committed nothing worthy of death, and that he himself hath appealed to Augustus, I have determined to send him.
26 Ba ni da wata tabbatacciyar maganar da zan rubuta wa Mai Girma game da shi. Saboda haka na kawo shi a gabanku duka, musamman a gabanka, Sarki Agiriffa, saboda a sakamakon wannan bincike zan iya samun abin da zan rubuta.
Of whom I have no certain thing to write to my lord. Therefore I have brought him forth before you, and especially before thee, O king Agrippa, that, after examination had, I may have somewhat to write.
27 Don a ganina wauta ce a aika da ɗan kurkuku ba tare da an nuna zargin da ake yi a kansa ba.”
For it seemeth to me unreasonable to send a prisoner, and not also to signify the charges laid against him.
