< 2 Tessalonikawa 3 >
1 A ƙarshe,’yan’uwa, ku yi mana addu’a domin saƙon Ubangiji yă yi saurin bazuwa a kuma girmama shi, kamar yadda yake a wurinku.
Finally, brethren, pray for us, asking that the Lord's Message may be spread rapidly and its glory be displayed, as it was displayed among you;
2 Ku kuma yi addu’a yadda za a cece mu daga mugayen mutane masu mugunta, gama ba kowa ba ne yake da bangaskiya.
and that we may be delivered from wrong-headed and wicked men; for it is not everybody who has faith.
3 Ubangiji mai aminci ne, zai ƙarfafa ku, yă kuma tsare ku daga mugun nan.
But the Lord is faithful, and He will make you stedfast and will guard you from the Evil one.
4 Muna da tabbaci cikin Ubangiji cewa kuna bin umarnai da muka yi muku, za ku kuma ci gaba da yin abubuwan da muka umarta.
And we have confidence in the Lord in regard to you that you are doing, and will do, what we command.
5 Bari Ubangiji yă bi da zukatanku ga ƙaunan nan ta Allah da kuma jimirin nan na Kiristi.
And may the Lord guide your hearts into the love of God and into the patience of Christ.
6 A cikin sunan Ubangiji Yesu Kiristi, muna muku umarni,’yan’uwa, da ku kiyaye kanku daga kowane ɗan’uwa mai zaman banza da ba ya rayuwa bisa ga koyarwar da kuka karɓa daga wurinmu.
But, by the authority of the Lord, we command you, brethren, to stand aloof from every brother whose life is disorderly and not in accordance with the teaching which all received from us.
7 Gama ku kanku kun san yadda ya kamata ku bi gurbinmu. Ba mu yi zaman banza sa’ad da muke tare da ku ba,
For you yourselves know that it is your duty to follow our example. There was no disorder in our lives among you,
8 ba mu kuwa ci abincin kowa ba tare da ba mu biya ba. A maimakon haka, mun yi aiki dare da rana, muna fama muna wahala kuma don kada mu nawaita wa waninku.
nor did we eat any one's bread without paying for it, but we laboured and toiled, working hard night and day in order not to be a burden to any of you.
9 Mun yi wannan, ba don ba mu da’yancin karɓar irin taimakon nan ba ne, sai dai domin mu zama gurbin da za ku bi.
This was not because we had not a claim upon you, but it arose from a desire to set you an example--for you to imitate us.
10 Ko ma a sa’ad da muke tare da ku, mun ba ku wannan umarni cewa, “In mutum ya ƙi yin aiki, kada a ba shi abinci.”
For even when we were with you, we laid down this rule for you: "If a man does not choose to work, neither shall he eat."
11 Mun ji cewa waɗansunku suna zaman banza. Ba sa aikin kome; sai shisshigi kurum.
For we hear that there are some of you who live disorderly lives and are mere idle busybodies.
12 Irin waɗannan mutane muna ba da umarni muna kuma gargaɗe su cikin Ubangiji Yesu Kiristi su natsu su kuma nemi abincin da suke ci.
To persons of that sort our injunction--and our command by the authority of the Lord Jesus Christ--is that they are to work quietly and eat their own honestly-earned bread.
13 Game da ku kuma’yan’uwa, kada ku gaji da yin abin da yake daidai.
But you, brethren, must not grow weary in the path of duty;
14 In wani bai yi biyayya da umarninmu a wannan wasiƙa ba, sai fa ku lura da shi. Kada ku haɗa kai da shi, don yă ji kunya.
and if any one refuses to obey these our written instructions, mark that man and hold no communication with him--so that he may be made to feel ashamed.
15 Duk da haka kada ku mai da shi abokin gāba, sai dai ku gargaɗe shi a matsayin ɗan’uwa.
And yet do not regard him as an enemy, but caution him as a brother.
16 Yanzu, bari Ubangiji mai salama kansa yă ba ku salama a kowane lokaci da kuma a ta kowace hanya. Ubangiji yă kasance tare da ku duka.
And may the Lord of peace Himself continually grant you peace in every sense. The Lord be with you all.
17 Ni, Bulus, nake rubuta wannan gaisuwa da hannuna, wannan ce shaida a kowace wasiƙata, haka nake rubutu.
I Paul add the greeting with my own hand, which is the credential in every letter of mine.
18 Alherin Ubangijinmu Yesu Kiristi yă kasance tare da ku duka.
This is my handwriting. May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.
