2 Sarakuna 21
1 Manasse yana da shekara goma sha biyu sa’ad da ya zama sarki, ya yi mulki shekara hamsin da biyar a Urushalima. Sunan mahaifiyarsa Hefziba.
Twelve years old was Menasseh when he became king, and fifty and five years did he reign in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Chephzi-bah.
2 Ya aikata mugunta a gaban Ubangiji, ya bi munanan al’adun al’umman da Ubangiji ya kora a gaban Isra’ilawa.
And he did what is evil in the eyes of the Lord, after the abominable acts of the nations whom the Lord had driven out before the children of Israel.
3 Ya sāke gina masujadan da mahaifinsa Hezekiya ya rurrushe. Ya kuma gina wa Ba’al bagadai. Ya kafa ginshiƙin Ashera kamar yadda Ahab sarkin Isra’ila ya yi. Ya durƙusa wa dukan rundunan taurari ya yi musu sujada.
And he built up again the high-places which Hezekiah his father had destroyed; and he reared up altars for Ba'al, and made a grove, as Achab the king of Israel had done; and he bowed down to all the host of heaven, and served them.
4 Ya gina bagadai a haikalin Ubangiji, wurin da Ubangiji ya ce, “A Urushalima ne zan sa Sunana.”
And he built altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord had said, In Jerusalem will I put my name.
5 Cikin filaye biyu na haikalin Ubangiji kuwa, ya gina bagadai na dukan rundunan taurari.
And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the Lord.
6 Ya miƙa ɗansa hadaya ta ƙonawa, ya yi sihiri da tsubu, ya tuntuɓi masu duba da masu ruhohi. Ya aikata mugunta ƙwarai a gaban Ubangiji, ya sa Ubangiji ya yi fushi.
And he caused his son to pass through the fire, and observed times, and used enchantments, and dealt with familiar spirits and wizards: he wrought much that is evil in the eyes of the Lord, to provoke him to anger.
7 Ya ɗauki siffar ginshiƙin Asherar da ya yi, ya sa a haikalin da Ubangiji ya ce wa Dawuda da ɗansa Solomon, “A cikin wannan haikali, da kuma cikin Urushalima inda na zaɓa daga kabilan Isra’ila, zan sa Sunana har abada.
And he set a hewn image of the Asherah that he had made in the house, of which the Lord had said to David, and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen out of all tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
8 Ba zan ƙara sa Isra’ilawa su fita daga ƙasar da na ba kakanninsu ba, idan dai za su kula su aikata dukan abin da na umarce su, su kuma kiyaye dukan dokokin da na ba wa bawana Musa yă umarce su.”
And I will not cause any more the foot of Israel to move out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to act in accordance with all that I have commanded them, and in accordance with all the law that my servant Moses commanded them.
9 Amma mutanen ba su kasa kunne ba. Manasse ya ɓad da su, har suka yi muguntar da ta fi ta al’umman da Ubangiji ya hallaka a gaban Isra’ilawa.
But they hearkened not: and Menasseh seduced them to do what is evil more than the nations whom the Lord had destroyed before the children of Israel.
10 Ubangiji ya yi magana ta bakin bayinsa annabawa,
And the Lord spoke by means of his servants the prophets, saying,
11 “Manasse, sarkin Yahuda ya aikata waɗannan ƙazantattun zunubai. Ya aikata mugunta fiye da ta Amoriyawan da suka riga shi, ya kuma sa Yahuda ta bauɗe ta wurin yin zunubi saboda gumakansa.
Forasmuch as Menasseh the king of Judah hath done these abominations, having done wickedly more than all that the Emorites had done, who were before him, and hath induced Judah also to sin with his idols:
12 Saboda haka ga abin da Ubangiji, Allah na Isra’ila ya ce, zan jawo wa Urushalima da kuma Yahuda masifar da duk kunnen da ya ji, sai ya kusa suma.
Therefore thus hath said the Lord the God of Israel, Behold, I will bring evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, at which both the ears of every one that heareth it shall tingle.
13 Zan auna Urushalima da ma’aunin da na yi amfani da shi a kan Samariya, zan kuma yi amfani da magwajin da na yi amfani da shi a kan gidan Ahab. Zan shafe Urushalima yadda mutum yake wanke kwano yă kife.
And I will stretch over Jerusalem the measure-line of Samaria, and the plummet of the house of Achab: and I will wipe off Jerusalem as one wipeth off a dish, wiping it, and turning it on its face.
14 Zan rabu da ragowar gādona, in kuma miƙa su ga maƙiyansu. Abokan gābansu za su washe suka kuma kwashi ganima daga gare su,
And I will forsake the remnant of my inheritance, and give them up into the hand of their enemies; and they shall become a prey and a spoil to all their enemies;
15 domin sun aikata mugunta a idanuna, suka kuma tsokane ni tun daga ranar da kakanninsu suka fito daga Masar, har yă zuwa yau.”
Forasmuch as they have done what is evil in my eyes, and have been provoking me to anger, from the day that their fathers came forth out of Egypt, even until this day.
16 Ban da haka ma, Manasse ya zub da jinin marasa laifi har ya cika Urushalima daga wannan ɓangare zuwa wancan, ban da zunubin da ya sa Yahuda ta aikata, ta haka suka yi mugunta a gaban Ubangiji.
And also innocent blood did Menasseh shed in very great abundance, till he had filled [therewith] Jerusalem from one end to another; beside his sin wherewith he induced Judah to sin, to do what is evil in the eyes of the Lord.
17 Game da sauran ayyukan mulkin Manasse, da duk abin da ya yi, har da zunubin da ya aikata, duk a rubuce suke a cikin littafin tarihin sarakunan Yahuda.
Now the rest of the acts of Menasseh, and all that he did, and his sin that he committed, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah.
18 Manasse ya huta tare da kakanninsa, aka kuma binne shi a lambun fadansa, lambun Uzza. Sai Amon ɗansa ya gāje shi.
And Menasseh slept with his fathers, and was buried in the garden of his own house, in the garden of 'Uzza: and Amon his son became king in his stead.
19 Amon yana da shekara ashirin da biyu sa’ad da ya zama sarki, ya yi mulki shekara biyu a Urushalima. Sunan mahaifiyarsa Meshullemet’yar Haruz; ita mutuniyar Yotba ce.
Twenty and two years old was Amon when he became king, and two years did he reign in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Meshullemeth, the daughter of Charuz of Yotbah.
20 Ya aikata mugunta a gaban Ubangiji, yadda Manasse mahaifinsa ya yi.
And he did what is evil in the eyes of the Lord, as his father Menasseh had done.
21 Ya bi duk gurbin mahaifinsa a kome, ya yi sujada ga gumakan da mahaifinsa ya yi wa, ya kuma durƙusa musu.
And he walked in all the way that his father had walked in, and served the idols that his father had served, and bowed himself down to them;
22 Ya rabu da Ubangiji Allah na kakanninsa, bai kuwa yi tafiya a hanyar Ubangiji ba.
And he forsook the Lord the God of his fathers, and walked not in the way of the Lord.
23 Fadawan Amon suka ƙulla maƙarƙashiya suka kashe shi a cikin fadarsa.
And the servants of Amon conspired against him, and put the king to death in his own house.
24 Sai mutanen ƙasar suka kashe duk waɗanda suka ƙulla wa Sarki Amon maƙarƙashiya, sa’an nan suka naɗa ɗansa sarki a maimakonsa.
And the people of the land slew all those that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his stead.
25 Game da sauran ayyukan mulkin Amon, da abubuwan da ya aikata, duk a rubuce suke a cikin littafin tarihin sarakunan Yahuda.
Now the rest of the acts of Amon which he did, behold, they are written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah.
26 Aka binne shi a kabarinsa a lambun Uzza. Yosiya ɗansa kuma ya gāje shi.
And they buried him in his sepulchre in the garden of 'Uzza: and Josiah his son became king in his stead.
