1 Yotam yana da shekara ashirin da biyar sa’ad da ya zama sarki, ya kuma yi mulki a Urushalima shekara goma sha shida. Sunan mahaifiyarsa Yerusha,’yar Zadok.
Jotham [is] a son of twenty-five years in his reigning, and he has reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem, and the name of his mother [is] Jerushah daughter of Zadok.
2 Ya yi abin da yake daidai a gaban Ubangiji, kamar yadda mahaifinsa Uzziya ya yi, sai dai bai kutsa cikin haikalin Ubangiji kamar mahaifinsa ba. Mutane kuwa, suka ci gaba da aikata ayyukan lalaci.
And he does that which is right in the eyes of YHWH, according to all that his father Uzziah did; only, he has not come into the temple of YHWH; and again the people are doing corruptly.
3 Yotam ya sāke ginin Ƙofar Bisa na haikalin Ubangiji, ya kuma yi aiki sosai a katanga a tudun Ofel.
He has built the Upper Gate of the house of YHWH, and in the wall of Ophel he has built abundantly;
4 Ya gina garuruwa a tuddan Yahuda, ya giggina katanga da gine-gine masu tsawo a wuraren da suke a kurmi.
and he has built cities in the hill-country of Judah, and he has built palaces and towers in the forests.
5 Yotam ya yi yaƙi da sarkin Ammonawa ya kuma ci su. A wannan shekara Ammonawa suka biya shi haraji talenti ɗari na azurfa, garwan alkama dubu goma da kuma garwa dubu goma na sha’ir. Ammonawa suka kawo masa wannan kuma a shekara ta biyu da ta uku.
And he has fought with the king of the sons of Ammon, and prevails over them, and the sons of Ammon give to him in that year one hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand cors of wheat, and ten thousand of barley; the sons of Ammon have returned this to him both in the second year and in the third.
6 Yotam ya ƙaru a iko saboda ya daidaita al’amuransa a gaban Ubangiji Allahnsa.
And Jotham strengthens himself, for he has prepared his ways before his God YHWH.
7 Sauran ayyuka a mulkin Yotam, haɗe da dukan yaƙe-yaƙensa da waɗansu abubuwan da ya yi, suna a rubuce a littafin sarakunan Isra’ila da na Yahuda.
And the rest of the matters of Jotham, and all his battles, and his ways, behold, they are written on the scroll of the kings of Israel and Judah.

He was a son of twenty-five years in his reigning, and he has reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem;
9 Yotam ya huta tare da kakanninsa, aka kuma binne shi a Birnin Dawuda. Sai Ahaz ɗansa ya gāje shi a matsayin sarki.
and Jotham lies with his fathers, and they bury him in the City of David, and his son Ahaz reigns in his stead.
