1 Sai Ruhun Allah ya sauko a kan Azariya ɗan Oded.
Now, as for Azariah son of Oded, there came upon him, the spirit of God.
2 Ya fita ya je ya sadu da Asa ya kuma faɗa masa, “Ka saurare ni, Asa da kuma dukan Yahuda da Benyamin. Ubangiji yana tare da ku sa’ad da kuke tare da shi. In kuka neme shi, za ku same shi, amma in kuka yashe shi, zai yashe ku.
So he went forth to meet Asa, and said unto him, Hear me, O Asa, and all Judah and Benjamin, —Yahweh, is with you, so long as ye are with him, and, if ye seek him, he will be found of you, but, if ye forsake him, he will forsake you.
3 Tun da daɗewa Isra’ila ba su da Allah na gaskiya, babu firist da zai koyar, kuma babu doka.
Now, many days, had Israel been, —without the faithful God, and without a teaching priest, and without the law;
4 Amma cikin wahalarsu suka juya ga Ubangiji, Allah na Isra’ila, suka kuma neme shi, suka kuwa same shi.
But they turned, in their distress, unto Yahweh God of Israel, —and sought him, and he was found of them.
5 A waɗancan kwanaki akwai hatsari a yin tafiye-tafiye, gama dukan mazaunan ƙasashe suna cikin babbar damuwa.
And, in those times, there had been no prosperity, to him that went out nor to him that came in, —for, great consternations, were upon all the inhabitants of the lands;
6 Wata ƙasa takan murƙushe wata, wani birni kuma yakan murƙushe wani, domin Allah ya wahalshe su da kowace irin damuwa.
and they were beaten in pieces-nation against nation, and city against city, —for, God, discomfited them with all manner of distress.
7 Amma game da ku, ku ƙarfafa kada ku fid da zuciya, gama za a ba ku ladan aikinku.”
Ye, therefore, be strong, and let not your hands be slack, —for there is a reward for your work!
8 Sa’ad da Asa ya ji waɗannan kalmomin da annabcin Azariya ɗan Oded annabi ya faɗa, sai ya sami ƙarfi hali. Ya kawar da gumaka masu banƙyama daga dukan ƙasar Yahuda da Benyamin da kuma daga garuruwan da ya ci da yaƙi a ƙasar tudu ta Efraim. Ya gyaggyara bagaden Ubangiji da yake a gaban shirayin haikalin Ubangiji.
And, when Asa heard these words and the prophecy of Oded the prophet, he strengthened himself, and put away the abominations out of all the land of Judah and Benjamin, and out of the cities which he had captured out of the hill country of Ephraim, —and renewed the altar of Yahweh, that was before the porch of Yahweh.
9 Sa’an nan ya tattara dukan Yahuda da Benyamin da kuma mutane daga Efraim, Manasse da Simeyon waɗanda suke zaune a cikinsu, gama jama’a mai girma ta zo wurinsa daga Isra’ila sa’ad da suka ga cewa Ubangiji Allahnsa yana tare da shi.
And he gathered together all Judah and Benjamin, and the sojourners with them, out of Ephraim and out of Manasseh, and out of Simeon, —for they fell unto him out of Israel, in great numbers, because they saw that, Yahweh his God, was with him.
10 Suka taru a Urushalima a wata na uku na shekara ta goma sha biyar ta mulkin Asa.
So they gathered themselves together unto Jerusalem, in the third month of the fifteenth year of the reign of Asa.
11 A lokacin suka miƙa hadaya bijimai ɗari bakwai da tumaki da kuma awaki dubu bakwai ga Ubangiji daga ganimar da suka dawo da ita.
And they sacrificed unto Yahweh, on that day, out of the spoil they had brought in, —oxen, seven hundred, and sheep, seven thousand.
12 Suka yi alkawari don su nemi Ubangiji Allah na kakanninsu, da dukan zuciyarsu da kuma dukan ransu.
And they entered into a covenant, to seek Yahweh, God of their fathers, —with all their heart, and with all their soul;
13 Aka kashe dukan waɗanda ba su nemi Ubangiji, Allah na Isra’ila ba, ko ƙarami ko babba, namiji ko ta mace.
and, whosoever would not seek unto Yahweh God of Israel, should be put to death, —whether small or great, whether man or woman.
14 Suka yi rantsuwa ga Ubangiji da babbar murya, da ihu da garayu da ƙahoni.
So they bound themselves by oath unto Yahweh, with a loud voice, and with shouting, —and with trumpets and with horns.
15 Dukan Yahuda suka yi farin ciki game da rantsuwar domin sun yi rantsuwar gabagadi. Suka nemi Allah da gaske, suka kuma same shi. Saboda haka Ubangiji ya ba su hutu a kowane gefe.
And all Judah rejoiced over the oath, for, with all their heart, had they sworn, and, with all their good will, had they sought him, and he was found of them, —and Yahweh gave them rest round about.
16 Sarki Asa ya tuɓe mahaifiyar mahaifiyarsa daga matsayinta na mahaifiyar sarauniya, domin ta gina ginshiƙin banƙyama na Ashera. Asa ya rurrushe shi, ya farfasa shi ya kuma ƙone shi a Kwarin Kidron.
Moreover also, as touching Maacah mother of Asa the king, he removed her from being queen, because she had made, unto the Sacred Stem, a monstrous thing, —so Asa cut down her monstrous thing, and reduced it to dust, and burnt it up, in the Kidron ravine.
17 Ko da yake bai kawar da masujadan kan tudu daga Isra’ila ba, zuciyar Asa ta cika da bin Ubangiji dukan kwanakinsa.
But, the high places, were not taken away out of Israel, —only, the heart of Asa, was perfect, all his days.
18 Ya kawo azurfa da zinariya da kayayyaki a haikalin Allah waɗanda shi da mahaifinsa suka keɓe.
And he brought the hallowed things of his father and his own hallowed things, into the house of God, —silver and gold, and utensils.
19 Ba a ƙara yin yaƙi ba sai a shekara ta talatin da biyar ta mulkin Asa.
And, war, was there none, —until the thirty-fifth year of the reign of Asa.
