1 Sarakuna 16

1 Sai maganar Ubangiji ta zo wa Yehu ɗan Hanani game da Ba’asha,

And the word of the Lord came by the hand of Ju son of Anani to Baasa, [saying],

2 “Na ɗaga ka daga ƙura na mai da kai shugaban mutanena Isra’ila, amma ka yi tafiya a hanyoyin Yerobowam, ka kuma sa mutanena Isra’ila suka yi zunubi, ka tsokane ni na yi fushi ta wurin zunubansu.

Forasmuch as I lifted thee up from the earth, and made thee ruler over my people Israel; and thou hast walked in the way of Jeroboam, and hast caused my people Israel to sin, to provoke me with their vanities;

3 Saboda haka ina gab da cinye Ba’asha da gidansa, zan kuma mai da gidanka kamar na Yerobowam ɗan Nebat.

Behold, I raise up [enemies] after Baasa, and after his house; and I will make thy house as the house of Jeroboam son of Nabat.

4 Karnuka za su cinye waɗanda suke na Ba’asha da suka mutu a birni, tsuntsaye kuma za su cinye waɗanda suka mutu a jeji.”

Him that dies of Baasa in the city the dogs shall devour, and him that dies of his in the field the birds of the sky shall devour.

5 Game da sauran ayyukan mulkin Ba’asha, abin da ya yi, da kuma nasarorinsa, an rubuta su cikin littafin tarihin sarakunan Isra’ila.

Now the rest of the history of Baasa, and all that he did, and his mighty acts, behold, are not these written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

6 Ba’asha ya huta tare da kakanninsa, aka kuma binne shi a Tirza. Sai Ela ɗansa ya gāje shi a matsayin sarki.

And Baasa slept with his fathers, and they bury him in Thersa; and Ela his son reigns in his stead.

7 Ban da haka, maganar Ubangiji ta zo ta wurin annabi Yehu ɗan Hanani wa Ba’asha da gidansa, saboda dukan muguntar da ya aikata a gaban Ubangiji, ya tsokane shi yă yi fushi ta wurin abubuwan da ya yi, da kuma zama kamar gidan Yerobowam, da kuma domin ya hallaka gidan Yerobowam.

And the Lord spoke by Ju the son of Anani against Baasa, and against his house, [even] all the evil which he wrought before the Lord to provoke him to anger by the works of his hands, in being like the house of Jeroboam; and because he smote him.

8 A shekara ta ashirin da shida ta Asa sarkin Yahuda, Ela ɗan Ba’asha ya zama sarkin Isra’ila, ya kuma yi mulki a Tirza shekaru biyu.

And Ela son of Baasa reigned over Israel two years in Thersa.

9 Zimri, ɗaya daga cikin shugabanni, wanda ya shugabanci rabin kekunan yaƙin Ela, ya yi maƙarƙashiya a kansa. Ela yana a Tirza a lokacin, ya bugu a gidan Arza, sarkin fada a Tirza.

And Zambri, captain of half his cavalry, conspired against him, while he was in Thersa, drinking himself drunk in the house of Osa the steward at Thersa.

10 Zimri ya shiga, ya buge shi ya kashe a shekara ta ashirin da bakwai na Asa sarkin Yahuda. Sa’an nan ya gāje shi a matsayin sarki.

And Zambri went in and smote him and slew him, and reigned in his stead.

11 Nan da nan sai ya fara mulki ya kuwa zauna a kujerar sarauta, ya kashe dukan iyalin Ba’asha. Bai bar namiji guda ɗaya ba, ko dangi, ko aboki.

And it came to pass when he reigned, when he sat upon his throne,

12 Ta haka Zimri ya hallaka dukan iyalin Ba’asha, bisa ga maganar da Ubangiji ya yi game da Ba’asha ta wurin annabi Yehu.

that he smote all the house of Baasa, according to the word which the Lord spoke against the house of Baasa, and to Ju the prophet,

13 Wannan ya faru saboda dukan zunuban Ba’asha da waɗanda ɗansa Ela ya yi, da ya sa Isra’ila suka yi, har suka tsokane Ubangiji, Allah na Isra’ila, yă yi fushi ta wurin gumakansu marasa amfani.

for all the sins of Baasa and Ela his son, as he led Israel astray to sin, to provoke the Lord God of Israel with their vanities.

14 Game da sauran ayyukan mulkin Ela, da dukan abin da ya yi, duk a rubuce suke a cikin littafin tarihin sarakunan Isra’ila.

And the rest of the deeds of Ela which he did, behold, are not these written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

15 A shekara ta ashirin da bakwai na Asa sarkin Yahuda, Zimri ya yi mulki a Tirza kwana bakwai. Mayaƙa suka yi sansani kusa da Gibbeton, wani garin Filistiyawa.

And Zambri reigned in Thersa seven days: and the army of Israel [was] encamped against Gabathon of the Philistines.

16 Sa’ad da Isra’ilawa a cikin sansani suka ji cewa Zimri ya yi maƙarƙashiya a kan sarki, ya kuma kashe shi, sai suka yi shela, suka naɗa Omri, shugaban mayaƙa ya zama sarki a bisa Isra’ila, a wannan rana a cikin sansani.

And the people heard in the army, saying, Zambri has conspired and smitten the king: and the people of Israel made Ambri the captain of the host king in that day in the camp over Israel.

17 Sai Omri da dukan Isra’ilawa suka janye daga Gibbeton, suka yi wa Tirza kwanto.

And Ambri went up, and all Israel with him, out of Gabathon; and they besieged Thersa.

18 Da Zimri ya ga cewa an kame birnin, sai ya je ya shiga hasumiya fadan sarki ya sa wa fadan wuta wutar kuwa ta ƙone shi ya mutu.

And it came to pass when Zambri saw that his city was taken, that he goes into the inner chamber of the house of the king, and burnt the king's house over him, and died.

19 Wannan ya faru saboda zunuban da ya yi, ya yi mugunta a gaban Ubangiji ya kuma yi tafiya a hanyoyin Yerobowam da kuma cikin zunubin da Yerobowam ya yi da ya sa Isra’ila suka yi.

Because of his sins which he committed, doing that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, so as to walk in the way of Jeroboam the son of Nabat, and in his sins wherein he caused Israel to sin.

20 Game da sauran ayyukan mulkin Zimri, da tawayen da ya yi, duk a rubuce suke a cikin littafin tarihin sarakunan Isra’ila.

And the rest of the history of Zambri, and his conspiracies wherein he conspired, behold, are not these written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

21 Sai mutanen Isra’ila suka rabu kashi biyu; rabi guda sun goyi bayan Tibni ɗan Ginat yă zama sarki, ɗayan rabin kuma sun goyi bayan Omri.

Then the people of Israel divides; half the people goes after Thamni the son of Gonath to make him king; and half the people goes after Ambri.

22 Amma mabiyan Omri suka nuna sun fi na Tibni ɗan Ginat ƙarfi. Sai Tibni ya mutu, Omri kuwa ya zama sarki.

The people that followed Ambri overpowered the people that followed Thamni son of Gonath; and Thamni died and Joram his brother at that time, and Ambri reigned after Thamni.

23 A shekara ta talatin da ɗaya na Asa sarkin Yahuda, Omri ya zama sarkin Isra’ila, ya kuma yi mulki shekara goma sha biyu, shekaru shida a Tirza.

In the thirty-first year of king Asa, Ambri begins to reign over Israel twelve years: he reigns six years in Thersa.

24 Ya saya tudun Samariya daga Shemer, a bakin talentin biyu na azurfa, ya kuma gina birni a kan tudun, ya kira shi Samariya, bayan Shemer, sunan mai tudun a dā.

And Ambri bought the mount Semeron of Semer the lord of the mountain for two talents of silver; and he built [upon] the mountain, and they called the name of the mountain [on] which he built, after the name of Semer the lord of the mount, Semeron.

25 Amma Omri ya yi mugunta a gaban Ubangiji, ya kuma yi zunubi fiye da dukan waɗanda suka kasance kafin shi.

And Ambri did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, and wrought wickedly beyond all that were before him.

26 Ya yi tafiya a dukan hanyoyin Yerobowam ɗan Nebat da kuma cikin zunubinsa wanda ya sa Isra’ila suka yi, har suka tsokane Ubangiji, Allah na Isra’ila yă yi fushi ta wurin gumakansu marasa amfani.

And he walked in all the way of Jeroboam the son of Nabat, and in his sins wherewith he caused Israel to sin, to provoke the Lord God of Israel by their vanities.

27 Game da sauran ayyukan mulkin Omri, abin da ya yi, da kuma abubuwan da ya yi, duk a rubuce suke a cikin littafin tarihin sarakunan Isra’ila.

And the rest of the acts of Ambri, and all that he did, and all his might, behold, [are] not these things written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Israel?

28 Omri ya huta tare da kakanninsa, aka kuma binne shi a Samariya. Sai Ahab ya gāje shi a matsayin sarki.

And Ambri slept with his fathers, and is buried in Samaria; and Achaab his son reigns in his stead.

29 A shekara ta talatin da takwas ta Asa sarkin Yahuda, Ahab ɗan Omri ya zama sarkin Isra’ila, ya kuma yi mulki a Samariya a kan Isra’ila, shekara ashirin da biyu.

In the second year of Josaphat king of Juda, Achaab son of Ambri reigned over Israel in Samaria twenty-two years.

30 Ahab ɗan Omri ya yi mugunta sosai a gaban Ubangiji fiye da wani daga cikin waɗanda suka riga shi.

And Achaab did that which was evil in the sight of the Lord, and did more wickedly than all that were before him.

31 Bai zama masa wani abu mai wuya ba, yă yi zunuban Yerobowam ɗan Nebat, har ma ya auri Yezebel’yar Etba’al sarkin Sidoniyawa, ya kuma fara bauta wa Ba’al, ya yi masa sujada.

And it was not enough for him to walk in the sins of Jeroboam the son of Nabat, but he took to wife, Jezabel the daughter of Jethebaal king of the Sidonians; and he went and served Baal, and worshiped him.

32 Ya kafa bagade domin Ba’al a haikalin Ba’al da ya gina a Samariya.

And he set up an alter to Baal, in the house of his abominations, which he built in Samaria.

33 Ahab ya gina ginshiƙin Ashera, ya kuma aikata abubuwa masu yawa don yă tsokane Ubangiji, Allah na Isra’ila yă yi fushi fiye da dukan sarakunan Isra’ila da suka riga shi.

And Achaab made a grove; and Achaab did yet more abominably, to provoke the Lord God of Israel, and [to sin against] his own life so that he should be destroyed: he did evil above all the kings of Israel that were before him.

34 A lokaci Ahab ne, Hiyel mutumin Betel ya sāke gina Yeriko. Ya kafa tushensa a bakin ran ɗan farinsa Abiram, ya kuma kafa ƙofofinsa a bakin ran autansa Segub, bisa ga maganar Ubangiji da ya yi ta wurin Yoshuwa ɗan Nun.

And in his days Achiel the Baethelite built Jericho: he laid the foundation of it in Abiron his first-born, and he set up the doors of it in Segub his younger son, according to the word of the Lord which he spoke by Joshua the son of Naue.
