1 Sarakuna 11
1 Sarki Solomon ya ƙaunaci baƙin mata. Ban da’yar Fir’auna, ya auri Mowabawa, Ammonawa, mutanen Edom, Sidoniyawa da Hittiyawa.
And king Solomon hath loved many strange women, and the daughter of Pharaoh, females of Moab, Ammon, Edom, Zidon, [and] of the Hittites,
2 Sun fito daga al’ummai da Ubangiji ya ce wa Isra’ilawa, “Kada ku yi aurayya da su, domin tabbatacce za su juye zukatanku zuwa ga waɗansu alloli.” Duk da haka Solomon ya manne musu, ya nace, yana ƙaunarsu.
of the nations of which Jehovah said unto the sons of Israel, 'Ye do not go in to them, and they do not go in to you; surely they turn aside your heart after their gods;' to them hath Solomon cleaved for love.
3 Ya auri mata ɗari bakwai, haifaffun gidan sarauta, da kuma ƙwarƙwarai ɗari uku. Matan nan nasa suka karkatar da shi.
And he hath women, princesses, seven hundred, and concubines three hundred; and his wives turn aside his heart.
4 Yayinda Solomon yake tsufa, matansa suka juye zuciyarsa ga bin waɗansu alloli, zuciyarsa kuwa ba tă bi Ubangiji Allahnsa ɗungum kamar yadda zuciyar Dawuda mahaifinsa ta kasance ba.
And it cometh to pass, at the time of the old age of Solomon, his wives have turned aside his heart after other gods, and his heart hath not been perfect with Jehovah his God, like the heart of David his father.
5 Ya bi Ashtarot, alliyar Sidoniyawa, da Molek, allahn da aka hana na Ammonawa.
And Solomon goeth after Ashtoreth god[dess] of the Zidonians, and after Milcom the abomination of the Ammonites;
6 Saboda haka Solomon ya yi abin da yake mugu a gaban Ubangiji. Bai bi Ubangiji gaba ɗaya kamar yadda Dawuda mahaifinsa ya yi ba.
and Solomon doth the evil thing in the eyes of Jehovah, and hath not been fully after Jehovah, like David his father.
7 A kan tudu, gabas da Urushalima, Solomon ya gina masujada a can domin Kemosh, allahn da aka hana na Mowab, da Molek, allahn da aka hana na Ammonawa.
Then doth Solomon build a high place for Chemosh the abomination of Moab, in the hill that [is] on the front of Jerusalem, and for Molech the abomination of the sons of Ammon;
8 Ya yi haka domin dukan baƙin matansa, waɗanda suka ƙone turare suka kuma miƙa hadayu ga allolinsu.
and so he hath done for all his strange women, who are perfuming and sacrificing to their gods.
9 Ubangiji ya yi fushi da Solomon domin zuciyarsa ya juye daga Ubangiji, Allah na Isra’ila, wanda ya bayyana masa sau biyu.
And Jehovah sheweth Himself angry with Solomon, for his heart hath turned aside from Jehovah, God of Israel, who had appeared unto him twice,
10 Ko da yake ya hana Solomon bin waɗansu alloli, Solomon bai kiyaye umarnin Ubangiji ba.
and given a charge unto him concerning this thing, not to go after other gods; and he hath not kept that which Jehovah commanded,
11 Saboda haka Ubangiji ya ce wa Solomon, “Da yake halinka ke nan, ba ka kuma kiyaye alkawarina, da ƙa’idodina da na umarce ka ba, tabbatacce zan yage masarautar daga gare ka, in ba da ita ga ɗaya daga cikin bayinka.
and Jehovah saith to Solomon, 'Because that this hath been with thee, and thou hast not kept My covenant and My statutes that I charged upon thee, I surely rend the kingdom from thee, and have given it to thy servant.
12 Amma saboda Dawuda mahaifinka, ba zan yi haka a zamaninka ba. Zan yage ta daga hannun ɗanka.
'Only, in thy days I do it not, for the sake of David thy father; out of the hand of thy son I rend it;
13 Amma ba zan yage dukan masarautar daga gare shi ba, zan ba shi kabila ɗaya saboda Dawuda bawana, da kuma saboda Urushalima, wadda na zaɓa.”
only all the kingdom I do not rend away; one tribe I give to thy son, for the sake of David My servant, and for the sake of Jerusalem, that I have chosen.'
14 Sai Ubangiji ya tayar wa Solomon wani abokin gāba, mai suna Hadad, mutumin Edom daga gidan sarautar Edom.
And Jehovah raiseth up an adversary to Solomon, Hadad the Edomite; of the seed of the king [is] he in Edom;
15 A shekarun baya Dawuda ya ci Edom da yaƙi. Yowab, shugaban sojojinsa ya tafi can domin yă binne Isra’ilawa waɗanda suka mutu a yaƙi. Sa’ad da suke a can, sojojin Isra’ila suka kashe kowane ɗa namiji a Edom.
and it cometh to pass, in David's being with Edom, in the going up of Joab head of the host to bury the slain, that he smiteth every male in Edom —
16 Yowab da dukan Isra’ilawa suka zauna a can, wata shida, sai da suka hallaka dukan mutane a Edom.
for six months did Joab abide there, and all Israel, till the cutting off of every male in Edom —
17 Amma Hadad yana ɗan yaro a lokaci, wanda ya gudu zuwa Masar tare da shugabannin mutanen Edom waɗanda suka yi wa mahaifinsa hidima.
and Hadad fleeth, he and certain Edomites, of the servants of his father, with him, to go in to Egypt, and Hadad [is] a little youth,
18 Suka taso daga Midiyan suka tafi Faran. Sa’an nan suka ɗauki mutane daga Faran suka tafi Masar, zuwa wurin Fir’auna wanda ya ba wa Hadad gida da ƙasa, ya kuma tanada masa da abinci.
and they rise out of Midian, and come into Paran, and take men with them out of Paran, and come in to Egypt, unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he giveth to him a house, and bread hath commanded for him, and land hath given to him.
19 Fir’auna ya ji daɗin Hadad har ya ba shi’yar’uwar matarsa, Sarauniya Tafenes, aure.
And Hadad findeth grace in the eyes of Pharaoh exceedingly, and he giveth to him a wife, the sister of his own wife, sister of Tahpenes the mistress;
20 ’Yar’uwar Tafenes ta haifi masa ɗa wanda ya kira Genubat, wanda Tafenes ta yi renonsa a fadan sarki. A can, Genubat ya yi zama da’ya’yan Fir’auna.
and the sister of Tahpenes beareth to him Genubath his son, and Tahpenes weaneth him within the house of Pharaoh, and Genubath is in the house of Pharaoh in the midst of the sons of Pharaoh.
21 Yayinda yake a Masar, Hadad ya ji Dawuda ya huta tare da kakanninsa, ya kuma ji cewa Yowab shugaban mayaƙa ya mutu. Sai Hadad ya ce wa Fir’auna, “Bari in tafi, don in koma ƙasata.”
And Hadad hath heard in Egypt that David hath lain with his fathers, and that Joab head of the host is dead, and Hadad saith unto Pharaoh, 'Send me away, and I go unto my land.'
22 Fir’auna ya tambaye shi, ya ce, “Me ka rasa a nan da kake so ka koma garinka?” Ya ce, “Ba kome, amma ka dai bar ni in tafi!”
And Pharaoh saith to him, 'But, what art thou lacking with me, that lo, thou art seeking to go unto thine own land?' and he saith, 'Nay, but thou dost certainly send me away.'
23 Allah kuwa ya tayar wa Solomon wani abokin gāba, mai suna Rezon, ɗan Eliyada, wanda ya gudu daga maigidansa, Hadadezer sarkin Zoba.
And God raiseth to him an adversary, Rezon son of Eliadah, who hath fled from Hadadezer king of Zobah, his lord,
24 Rezon ya tattara mutane kewaye da shi, ya zama kuma shugaban’yan tawaye sa’ad da Dawuda ya hallaka mayaƙan Zoba;’yan tawayen suka tafi Damaskus, inda suka zauna, suka kuma yi mulki.
and gathereth unto himself men, and is head of a troop in David's slaying them, and they go to Damascus, and dwell in it, and reign in Damascus;
25 Rezon ya zama babban abokin gāban Isra’ila cikin dukan kwanakin mulkin Solomon. Ya ƙara rikici a kan rikicin Hadad. Rezon ya ƙi mulkin Isra’ila da dukan ransa. Saboda haka Rezon ya yi mulki a Aram ya kuma ƙi jinin Isra’ila.
and he is an adversary to Israel all the days of Solomon, (besides the evil that Hadad [did]), and he cutteth off in Israel, and reigneth over Aram.
26 Haka ma Yerobowam, ɗan Nebat, shi ma ya yi wa sarki tawaye. Shi ɗaya ne daga shugabannin Solomon, shi mutumin Efraim ne daga Zereda, mahaifiyarsa kuwa gwauruwa ce, mai suna Zeruwa.
And Jeroboam son of Nebat, an Ephrathite of Zereda — the name of whose mother [is] Zeruah, a widow woman — servant to Solomon, he also lifteth up a hand against the king;
27 Ga yadda ya tayar wa sarki Solomon. Sarki Solomon ya gina madogaran gini, ya ciccika wurare a katangar birnin Dawuda mahaifinsa da ƙasa.
and this [is] the thing [for] which he lifted up a hand against the king: Solomon built Millo — he shut up the breach of the city of David his father,
28 To, Yerobowam mutum ne mai fasaha. Sa’ad da Solomon ya ga yadda matashin yake aiki da himma, sai ya sa shi yă lura da dukan aikin gandu na gidan Yusuf.
and the man Jeroboam [is] mighty in valour, and Solomon seeth the young man that he is doing business, and appointeth him over all the burden of the house of Joseph.
29 Da Yerobowam ya fita Urushalima, sai annabi Ahiya, mutumin Shilo ya tarar da shi a hanya. Lokacin kuwa Ahiya yana saye da sabuwar riga, ba kowa a filin sai su biyu kaɗai.
And it cometh to pass, at that time, that Jeroboam hath gone out from Jerusalem, and Ahijah the Shilonite, the prophet, findeth him in the way, and he is covering himself with a new garment; and both of them [are] by themselves in a field,
30 Sai Ahiya ya kama sabuwar rigar da yake saye da ita ya yage ta gida goma sha biyu.
and Ahijah layeth hold on the new garment that [is] on him, and rendeth it — twelve pieces,
31 Sa’an nan ya ce wa Yerobowam, “Ɗauki gida goma wa kanka, gama abin da Ubangiji, Allah na Isra’ila ya ce ke nan, ‘Duba, zan yage masarauta daga hannun Solomon in ba ka kabilu goma.
and saith to Jeroboam, 'Take to thee ten pieces, for thus said Jehovah, God of Israel, lo, I am rending the kingdom out of the hand of Solomon, and have given to thee the ten tribes,
32 Amma saboda bawana Dawuda da kuma birnin Urushalima, wadda na zaɓa daga dukan kabilan Isra’ila, zai sami kabila guda.
and the one tribe he hath for My servant David's sake, and for Jerusalem's sake, the city which I have fixed on, out of all the tribes of Israel.
33 Zan yi wannan domin sun yashe ni, suka kuma yi wa Ashtarot, alliyar Sidoniyawa, da Kemosh, allahn Mowabawa, da kuma Molek, allahn Ammonawa sujada, ba su yi tafiya a hanyoyina ba, ba su kuwa yi abin da yake daidai a idanuna ba, ba su kiyaye farillaina da dokokina kamar yadda Dawuda, mahaifin Solomon ya yi ba.
'Because they have forsaken Me, and bow themselves to Ashtoreth, god[dess] of the Zidonians, to Chemosh god of Moab, and to Milcom god of the sons of Ammon, and have not walked in My ways, to do that which [is] right in Mine eyes, and My statutes and My judgments, like David his father.
34 “‘Amma ba zan ɗauki dukan masarautar daga hannun Solomon ba; na naɗa shi sarki, dukan kwanaki ransa saboda Dawuda bawana, wanda na zaɓa, wanda kuma ya kiyaye umarnai da farillaina.
'And I do not take the whole of the kingdom out of his hand, for prince I make him all days of his life, for the sake of David My servant whom I chose, who kept My commands and My statutes;
35 Zan ɗauke masarautar daga hannuwan ɗansa ne, in ba ka kabilu goma.
and I have taken the kingdom out of the hand of his son, and given it to thee — the ten tribes;
36 Zan ba da ɗaya ga ɗansa don kullum Dawuda bawana yă kasance da fitila a gabana a Urushalima, birnin da na zaɓa in sa Sunana.
and to his son I give one tribe, for there being a lamp to David My servant all the days before Me in Jerusalem, the city that I have chosen to Myself to put My name there.
37 Amma fa, ga kai, zan ɗauke ka, za ka kuwa yi mulki bisa dukan abin da zuciyarka take so; za ka zama sarki a bisa Isra’ila.
'And thee I take, and thou hast reigned over all that thy soul desireth, and thou hast been king over Israel;
38 In ka aikata dukan abin da na umarce ka, ka yi tafiya a hanyoyina, ka kuma yi abin da yake daidai a idanuna ta wurin kiyaye farillaina da umarnaina, kamar yadda Dawuda bawana ya yi, zan kasance tare da kai. Zan gina maka masarauta mai dawwama kamar wadda na gina wa Dawuda, zan kuma ba da Isra’ila gare ka.
and it hath been, if thou dost hear all that I command thee, and hast walked in My ways, and done that which is right in Mine eyes, to keep My statutes and My commands, as did David My servant, that I have been with thee, and have built for thee a stedfast house, as I built for David, and have given to thee Israel,
39 Zan ƙasƙantar da zuriyar Dawuda saboda wannan, amma ba har abada ba.’”
and I humble the seed of David for this; only, not all the days.'
40 Solomon ya yi ƙoƙari yă kashe Yerobowam, amma Yerobowam ya tsere zuwa Masar, zuwa wurin sarki Shishak, ya zauna a can sai bayan mutuwar Solomon.
And Solomon seeketh to put Jeroboam to death, and Jeroboam riseth and fleeth to Egypt, unto Shishak king of Egypt, and he is in Egypt till the death of Solomon.
41 Game da sauran ayyukan mulkin Solomon, da dukan abubuwan da ya yi, da hikimar da ya nuna, an rubuta su a littafin tarihin Solomon.
And the rest of the matters of Solomon, and all that he did, and his wisdom, are they not written on the book of the matters of Solomon?
42 Solomon ya yi mulki a Urushalima, a bisa dukan Isra’ila, shekaru arba’in.
And the days that Solomon hath reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel [are] forty years,
43 Sa’an nan ya huta tare da kakanninsa, aka kuma binne shi a birnin Dawuda mahaifinsa. Sai Rehobowam ɗansa ya gāje shi a matsayin sarki.
and Solomon lieth with his fathers, and is buried in the city of David his father, and reign doth Rehoboam his son in his stead.
