1 Waɗannan su ne mutanen da suka zo wurin Dawuda a Ziklag, yayinda aka kore shi daga gaban Shawulu ɗan Kish (suna cikin jarumawan da suka taimake shi a yaƙi;
Now these [are] they that came to David to Ziklag, while he yet kept himself close because of Saul the son of Kish: and they [were] among the mighty men, helpers of the war.
2 suna da baka suna kuma iya harba kibiya, ko majajjawa da hannun dama ko na hagu; su’yan’uwan Shawulu ne daga kabilar Benyamin):
[They were] armed with bows, and could use both the right hand and the left in [hurling] stones and [shooting] arrows out of a bow, [even] of Saul’s brethren of Benjamin.
3 Ahiyezer babbansu da Yowash’ya’yan Shema’a maza daga Gibeya; Yeziyel da Felet’ya’yan Azmawet; Beraka, Yehu daga Anatot,
The chief [was] Ahiezer, then Joash, the sons of Shemaah the Gibeathite; and Jeziel, and Pelet, the sons of Azmaveth; and Berachah, and Jehu the Antothite,
4 da Ishmahiya daga Gibeyon, wani jarumi a cikin Talatin nan, wanda shi ne shugaban Talatin; Irmiya, Yahaziyel, Yohanan, Yozabad daga Gedera,
And Ismaiah the Gibeonite, a mighty man among the thirty, and over the thirty; and Jeremiah, and Jahaziel, and Johanan, and Josabad the Gederathite,
5 Eluzai, Yerimot, Beyaliya, Shemariya da Shefatiya daga Haruf;
Eluzai, and Jerimoth, and Bealiah, and Shemariah, and Shephatiah the Haruphite,
6 Elkana, Isshiya, Azarel, Yoyezer da Yashobeyam daga Kora;
Elkanah, and Jesiah, and Azareel, and Joezer, and Jashobeam, the Korhites,
7 da Yoyela da Zebadiya’ya’yan Yeroham maza daga Gedor.
And Joelah, and Zebadiah, the sons of Jeroham of Gedor.
8 Sai waɗansu mutanen Gad suka koma suna goyon bayan Dawuda suka kuma haɗa kai da shi a kagararsa a hamada. Su ƙwararrun mayaƙa ne, a shirye don yaƙi, kuma suna iya riƙe garkuwa da māshi. Fuskokinsu kamar fuskoki zakoki, kuma suna da sauri kamar bareyi a kan duwatsu.
And of the Gadites there separated themselves unto David into the hold to the wilderness men of might, [and] men of war [fit] for the battle, that could handle shield and buckler, whose faces [were like] the faces of lions, and [were] as swift as the roes upon the mountains;
9 Ezer shi ne babba, Obadiya shi ne mai binsa a shugabanci, Eliyab na uku,
Ezer the first, Obadiah the second, Eliab the third,
10 Mismanna na huɗu, Irmiya na biyar,
Mishmannah the fourth, Jeremiah the fifth,
11 Attai na shida, Eliyel na bakwai,
Attai the sixth, Eliel the seventh,
12 Yohanan na takwas, Elzabad na tara,
Johanan the eighth, Elzabad the ninth,
13 Irmiya na goma da kuma Makbannai na goma sha ɗaya.
Jeremiah the tenth, Machbanai the eleventh.
14 Waɗannan mutanen Gad shugabannin mayaƙa ne; ƙarami a cikinsu zai iya ƙara da mutum ɗari, kuma babba a cikin zai iya ƙara da dubu.
These [were] of the sons of Gad, captains of the host: one of the least [was] over an hundred, and the greatest over a thousand.
15 Su ne suka haye Urdun a wata na farko sa’ad da kogin ya yi ambaliya, suka kuma kori duk mai rai a kwarin, na wajen gabas da na wajen yamma.
These [are] they that went over Jordan in the first month, when it had overflown all his banks; and they put to flight all [them] of the valleys, [both] toward the east, and toward the west.
16 Sauran mutanen Benyamin da waɗansu mutanen Yahuda su ma suka zo wurin Dawuda a kagararsa.
And there came of the children of Benjamin and Judah to the hold unto David.
17 Sai Dawuda ya fita don yă tarye su, ya kuma ce musu, “In kun zo wurina da salama, don ku taimake ni, to, ina a shirye in bar ku ku haɗa kai tare da ni. Amma in kun zo don ku bashe ni ga abokan gābana sa’ad da hannuwana ba su da laifi a rikici, bari Allah na kakanninmu yă duba yă kuma shari’anta ku.”
And David went out to meet them, and answered and said unto them, If ye be come peaceably unto me to help me, mine heart shall be knit unto you: but if [ye be come] to betray me to mine enemies, seeing [there is] no wrong in mine hands, the God of our fathers look [thereon], and rebuke [it].
18 Sai Ruhu ya sauko a kan Amasai, shugaban Talatin nan, sai ya ce, “Mu naka ne, ya Dawuda! Muna tare da kai, ya ɗan Yesse! Nasara, nasara gare ka, nasara kuma ga waɗanda suke taimakonka. Gama Allahnka zai taimake ka.” Saboda haka Dawuda ya karɓe su ya kuma mai da su shugabannin ƙungiyoyin maharansa.
Then the spirit came upon Amasai, [who was] chief of the captains, [and he said], Thine [are we], David, and on thy side, thou son of Jesse: peace, peace [be] unto thee, and peace [be] to thine helpers; for thy God helpeth thee. Then David received them, and made them captains of the band.
19 Waɗansu mutanen Manasse suka haɗa kai da Dawuda sa’ad da ya tafi tare da Filistiyawa don yă yaƙi Shawulu (Shi da mutanensa ba su taimaki Filistiyawa ba domin bayan shawarwari, shugabanninsu suka salame shi. Sun ce, “Za mu biya da kawunanmu in ya koma ga maigidansa Shawulu.”)
And there fell [some] of Manasseh to David, when he came with the Philistines against Saul to battle: but they helped them not: for the lords of the Philistines upon advisement sent him away, saying, He will fall to his master Saul to [the jeopardy of] our heads.
20 Da Dawuda ya tafi Ziklag, waɗannan mutanen Manasse ne suka haɗa kai da shi. Adna, Yozabad, Yediyayel, Mika’ilu, Yozabad, Elihu da Zilletai, shugabannin ƙungiyoyi na dubu a cikin Manasse.
As he went to Ziklag, there fell to him of Manasseh, Adnah, and Jozabad, and Jediael, and Michael, and Jozabad, and Elihu, and Zilthai, captains of the thousands that [were] of Manasseh.
21 Suka taimaki Dawuda a kan ƙungiyoyin hari, gama dukansu jarumawa ne sosai, kuma su shugabanni ne a cikin mayaƙansa.
And they helped David against the band [of the rovers: ] for they [were] all mighty men of valour, and were captains in the host.
22 Kowace rana mutane suka riƙa zuwa don su taimaki Dawuda, sai da ya kasance da runduna mai girma, kamar mayaƙan Allah.
For at [that] time day by day there came to David to help him, until [it was] a great host, like the host of God.
23 Ga yawan mutanen shiryayyu don yaƙi waɗanda suka zo wurin Dawuda a Hebron don su mai da mulkin Shawulu gare shi, yadda Ubangiji ya faɗa.
And these [are] the numbers of the bands [that were] ready armed to the war, [and] came to David to Hebron, to turn the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of the LORD.
24 Mutanen Yahuda, masu riƙe garkuwa da māshi, su 6,800 shiryayyu don yaƙi;
The children of Judah that bare shield and spear [were] six thousand and eight hundred, ready armed to the war.
25 mutanen Simeyon, jarumawa shiryayyu don yaƙi, su 7,100;
Of the children of Simeon, mighty men of valour for the war, seven thousand and one hundred.
26 mutanen Lawi, su 4,600,
Of the children of Levi four thousand and six hundred.
27 haɗe da Yehohiyada, shugaban iyalin Haruna tare da mutane 3,700,
And Jehoiada [was] the leader of the Aaronites, and with him [were] three thousand and seven hundred;
28 da Zadok, matashi jarumi sosai, tare da shugabanni su 22 daga iyalinsa;
And Zadok, a young man mighty of valour, and of his father’s house twenty and two captains.
29 mutanen Benyamin,’yan’uwan Shawulu, su 3,000, yawanci waɗanda suke biyayya ga gidan Shawulu sai lokacin;
And of the children of Benjamin, the kindred of Saul, three thousand: for hitherto the greatest part of them had kept the ward of the house of Saul.
30 mutanen Efraim, jarumawa, sanannu cikin gidajensu, su 20 800;
And of the children of Ephraim twenty thousand and eight hundred, mighty men of valour, famous throughout the house of their fathers.
31 mutanen rabin kabilar Manasse, sanannu da sunaye suka zo suka mai da Dawuda sarki, su 18,000;
And of the half tribe of Manasseh eighteen thousand, which were expressed by name, to come and make David king.
32 mutanen Issakar, masu fahimtar lokuta suka kuma san abin da ya kamata Isra’ila ya yi, manya 200, tare da danginsu a ƙarƙashin shugabancinsu;
And of the children of Issachar, [which were men] that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them [were] two hundred; and all their brethren [were] at their commandment.
33 mutanen Zebulun, ƙwararru sojoji shiryayyu don yaƙi da kowane irin makami, suka zo don su taimaki Dawuda da zuciya ɗaya, su 50,000;
Of Zebulun, such as went forth to battle, expert in war, with all instruments of war, fifty thousand, which could keep rank: [they were] not of double heart.
34 mutanen Naftali su 1,000 shugabanni, tare da mutane 37,000 masu riƙe garkuwa da masu;
And of Naphtali a thousand captains, and with them with shield and spear thirty and seven thousand.
35 mutanen Dan, shiryayyu don yaƙi, su 28,600;
And of the Danites expert in war twenty and eight thousand and six hundred.
36 mutanen Asher, ƙwararrun sojoji shiryayyu don yaƙi, su 40,000;
And of Asher, such as went forth to battle, expert in war, forty thousand.
37 kuma daga gabashin Urdun, mutanen Ruben, Gad da kuma rabin kabilar Manasse, masu kayan yaƙi iri-iri, su 120,000.
And on the other side of Jordan, of the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and of the half tribe of Manasseh, with all manner of instruments of war for the battle, an hundred and twenty thousand.
38 Dukan waɗannan mayaƙa ne waɗanda suka ba da kansu da yardar rai su yi hidima. Suka zo Hebron da cikakken niyya don su naɗa Dawuda sarki a bisa dukan Isra’ila. Duka sauran Isra’ilawa su ma suka goyi baya a naɗa Dawuda sarki.
All these men of war, that could keep rank, came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel: and all the rest also of Israel [were] of one heart to make David king.
39 Mutanen suka yi kwana uku a can tare da Dawuda, suna ci suna sha, gama iyalansu sun yi musu tanadi.
And there they were with David three days, eating and drinking: for their brethren had prepared for them.
40 Haka ma, maƙwabtansu daga nesa har Issakar, Zebulun da Naftali suka zo suka kawo abinci a kan jakuna, raƙuma, alfadarai da shanu. Akwai tanadin mai yawa na gari, kauɗar ɓaure, nonnan busassun’ya’yan inabi, ruwan inabi, mai, shanu da tumaki. Duk an yi haka don a nuna farin ciki ƙwarai a cikin dukan ƙasar Isra’ila.
Moreover they that were nigh them, [even] unto Issachar and Zebulun and Naphtali, brought bread on asses, and on camels, and on mules, and on oxen, [and] meat, meal, cakes of figs, and bunches of raisins, and wine, and oil, and oxen, and sheep abundantly: for [there was] joy in Israel.
