8 ’Ya’yan Ham maza su ne, Kush, Masar Fut da Kan’ana.
Sons of Ham: Cush, and Mizraim, Put, and Canaan.
9 ’Ya’yan Kush maza su ne, Seba, Hawila, Sabta, Ra’ama da Sabteka.’Ya’yan Ra’ama maza su ne, Sheba da Dedan
And sons of Cush: Seba and Havilah, and Sabta, and Raamah, and Sabtecka. And sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.
10 Kush shi ne mahaifin Nimrod, wanda ya yi girma ya zama babban jarumi a duniya.
And Cush begat Nimrod: he began to be a mighty one in the land.
11 Masar shi ne mahaifin Ludiyawa, Anamawa, Lehabiyawa, Neftuhawa,
And Mizraim begat the Ludim, and the Anamim, and the Lehabim, and the Naphtuhim,
12 Fatrusawa, Kasluhiyawa (daga waɗanda Filistiyawa suka fito) da Kaftorawa.
and the Pathrusim, and the Casluhim (from whom came out the Philistim), and the Caphtorim.
13 Kan’ana shi ne mahaifin Sidon ɗan farinsa, da Hittiyawa,
And Canaan begat Zidon his first born, and Heth,
14 Yebusiyawa, Amoriyawa, Girgashiyawa
and the Jebusite, and the Amorite, and the Girgashite,
15 Hiwiyawa, Arkiyawa, Siniyawa,
and the Hivite, and the Arkite, and the Sinite,
16 Arbadiyawa, Zemarawa da Hamawa.
and the Arvadite, and the Zemarite, and the Hamathite.
17 ’Ya’yan Shem maza su ne, Elam, Asshur, Arfakshad, Lud da Aram.’Ya’yan Aram maza su ne, Uz, Hul, Geter da Meshek.
Sons of Shem: Elam and Asshur, and Arphaxad, and Lud, and Aram, and Uz, and Hul, and Gether, and Meshech.
18 Arfakshad shi ne mahaifin Shela, Shela kuwa shi ne mahaifin Eber.
And Arphaxad begat Shelah, and Shelah begat Eber.
19 Aka haifa wa Eber’ya’ya maza biyu. Aka kira ɗaya Feleg domin a lokacinsa ne aka raba duniya; sunan ɗan’uwansa kuwa shi ne Yoktan.
And to Eber have been born two sons, the name of the one [is] Peleg, for in his days hath the land been divided, and the name of his brother is Joktan.
20 Yoktan shi ne mahaifin Almodad, Shelef, Hazarmawet, Yera
And Joktan begat Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,
21 Hadoram, Uzal, Dikla,
and Hadoram, and Uzal, and Diklah,
22 Ebal, Abimayel, Sheba,
and Ebal, and Abimael, and Sheba,
23 Ofir, Hawila da Yobab. Dukan waɗannan’ya’yan Yoktan maza ne.
and Ophir, and Havilah, and Jobab; all these [are] sons of Joktan.
24 Shem, Arfakshad, Shela,
Shem, Arphaxad, Shelah,
25 Eber, Feleg, Reyu
Eber, Peleg, Reu,
26 Serug, Nahor, Tera
Serug, Nahor, Terah,
27 da Abram (wato, Ibrahim).
Abram — he [is] Abraham.
28 ’Ya’yan Ibrahim maza su ne, Ishaku da Ishmayel.
Sons of Abraham: Isaac and Ishmael.
29 Waɗannan su ne zuriyarsu. Nebayiwot ɗan farin Ishmayel, Kedar, Adbeyel, Mibsam,
These [are] their generations: first-born of Ishmael, Nebaioth, and Kedar, and Adheel, and Mibsam,
30 Mishma, Duma, Massa, Hadad, Tema
Mishma, and Dumah, Massa, Hadad, and Tema,
31 Yetur, Nafish da Kedema. Waɗannan su ne’ya’yan Ishmayel maza.
Jetur, Naphish, and Kedema. These are sons of Ishmael.
32 ’Ya’yan Ketura maza, ƙwarƙwarar Ibrahim su ne, Zimran, Yokshan, Medan, Midiyan, Ishbak da Shuwa.’Ya’yan Yokshan maza su ne, Sheba da Dedan.
And sons of Keturah, Abraham's concubine: she bare Zimran, and Jokshan, and Medan, and Midian, and Ishbak, and Shuah. And sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan.
33 ’Ya’yan Midiyan maza su ne, Efa, Efer, Hanok, Abida da Elda’a. Dukan waɗannan su ne zuriyar Ketura.
And sons of Midian: Ephah and Epher, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah; all these [are] sons of Keturah.
34 Ibrahim shi ne mahaifin Ishaku.’Ya’yan Ishaku maza su ne, Isuwa da Isra’ila.
And Abraham begetteth Isaac. Sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel.
35 ’Ya’yan Isuwa maza, su ne, Elifaz, Reyuwel, Yewush, Yalam da Kora
Sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel, and Jeush, and Jaalam, and Korah.
36 ’Ya’yan Elifaz maza su ne, Teman, Omar, Zefi, Gatam, Kenaz, da Timna wanda aka haifa wa Amalek.
Sons of Eliphaz: Teman, and Omar, Zephi, and Gatam, Kenaz, and Timna, and Amalek.
37 ’Ya’yan maza Reyuwel su ne, Nahat, Zera, Shamma da Mizza.
Sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah, and Mizzah.
38 ’Ya’yan Seyir maza su ne, Lotan, Shobal, Zibeyon, Ana, Dishon, Ezer da Dishan.
And sons of Seir: Lotan, and Shobal, and Zibeon, and Anah, and Dishon, and Ezar, and Dishan.
39 ’Ya’yan Lotan maza su ne, Hori da Homam. Timna ita ce’yar’uwar Lotan.
And sons of Lotan: Hori and Homam, and sister of Lotan [is] Timna.
40 ’Ya’yan Shobal maza su ne, Alwan, Manahat, Ebal, Shefo da Onam.’Ya’yan Zibeyon maza su ne, Aiya da Ana.
Sons of Shobal: Alian, and Manahath, and Ebal, Shephi, and Onam. And sons of Zideon: Aiah and Anah.
41 Ɗan Ana shi ne, Dishon.’Ya’yan Dishon maza su ne, Hemdan, Eshban, Itran da Keran.
The sons of Anah: Dishon. and sons of Dishon: Amram, and Eshban, and Ithran, and Cheran.
42 ’Ya’yan Ezer maza su ne, Bilhan, Za’aban da Ya’akan.’Ya’yan Dishan maza su ne, Uz da Aran.
Sons of Ezer: Bilhan, and Zavan, Jakan. Sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
43 Waɗannan su ne sarakunan da suka yi sarauta a Edom kafin wani sarkin mutumin Isra’ila yă yi sarauta. Bela ɗan Beyor, wanda aka kira birninsa Dinhaba.
And these [are] the kings who reigned in the land of Edom before the reigning of a king of the sons of Israel: Bela son of Beor, and the name of his city [is] Dinhabah.
44 Sa’ad da Bela ya mutu sai Yobab ɗan Zera daga Bozra ya gāje shi a matsayin sarki.
And Bela dieth, and reign in his stead doth Jobab son of Zerah from Bozrali;
45 Da Yobab ya mutu, Husham daga ƙasar Temaniyawa ya gāje shi a matsayin sarki.
and Jobab dieth, and reign in his stead doth Husham from the land of the Temanite;
46 Sa’ad da Husham ya mutu, Hadad ɗan Bedad, wanda ya ci Midiyan da yaƙi a cikin ƙasar Mowab, ya gāje shi a matsayin sarki. Aka kira birninsa Awit.
and Husham dieth, and reign in his stead doth Hadad, son of Bedad (who smiteth Midian in the field of Moab) and the name of his city [is] Avith;
47 Da Hadad ya mutu, Samla daga Masreka ya gāje shi a matsayin sarki.
and Hadad dieth, and reign in his stead doth Samlah from Masrekah;
48 Sa’ad da Samla ya mutu, Sha’ul daga Rehobot na kogi ya gāje shi a matsayin sarki.
and Samlah dieth, and reign in his stead doth Shaul from Rehoboth of the River;
49 Sa’ad da Sha’ul ya mutu, Ba’al-Hanan ɗan Akbor ya gāje shi a matsayin sarki.
and Shaul dieth, and reign in his stead doth Baal-Hanan son of Achbor;
50 Sa’ad da Ba’al-Hanan ya mutu, Hadad ya gāje shi a matsayin sarki. Aka kira birninsa Fau, sunan matarsa kuwa Mehetabel’yar Matired,’yar Me-Zahab.
and Baal-Hanan dieth, and reign in his stead doth Hadad, and the name of his city [is] Pai, and the name of his wife [is] Mehetabel daughter of Matred, daughter of Me-Zahab; Hadad also dieth.
51 Hadad shi ma ya mutu. Manyan Edom su ne, Timna, Alwa, Yetet
And chiefs of Edom are: chief Timnah, chief Aliah, chief Jetheth,
52 Oholibama, Ela, Finon
chief Aholibamah, chief Elah, chief Pinon,
53 Kenaz, Teman, Mibzar,
chief Kenaz, chief Teman, chief Mibzar,
54 Magdiyel da Iram. Waɗannan su ne manyan Edom.
