1 यूहन्ना 4
1 हे प्यारे बिश्वासी भाईयो, हरेक आत्मा का बिश्वास ना करो, बल्के आत्मायाँ नै परखो के वो परमेसवर की ओड़ तै सै के न्ही; क्यूँके घणखरे झूठ्ठे नबी दुनिया म्ह उठ खड़े होए सै।
Beloved, believe not every Spirit, but try the spirits, whether they be of God: for many false prophets are gone out into the world.
2 परमेसवर की आत्मा थम इस रीति तै पिच्छाण सको सों: जो आत्मा मान ले सै के यीशु मसीह देह धारण करकै आया सै, वो परमेसवर की ओड़ तै सै।
By this ye may know the Spirit of God: every Spirit that confesseth Jesus Christ, who is come in the flesh, is of God:
3 अर जो आत्मा यीशु नै न्ही मानती, वो परमेसवर की ओड़ तै न्ही सै; अर वोए तो मसीह कै बिरोधी की आत्मा सै, जिसका जिक्र थमनै सुण्या सै के वो आण आळा सै, अर इब भी दुनिया म्ह सै।
and every spirit that doth not confess Jesus Christ, who is come in the flesh, is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, which ye have heard was coming, and is already in the world.
4 हे प्यारे बाळकों, थम परमेसवर के लोग सों, अर थमनै झूठ्ठे नबियाँ पै जीत पाई सै; क्यूँके पवित्र आत्मा जो थारे म्ह बसै सै, वो शैतान तै बड्ड़ा सै, जो इस दुनिया म्ह सै।
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He, that is in you, than he that is in the world.
5 झूठ्ठे नबी दुनिया के लोग सै, इस कारण वे दुनिया की बात बोल्लै सै, अर लोग उनकी सुणै सै।
They are of the world; therefore they speak as men of the world, and the world heareth them.
6 हम परमेसवर के लोग सां। जो परमेसवर नै जाणै सै, वो म्हारी सुणै सै; जो परमेसवर नै न्ही जाणता वो म्हारी न्ही सुणदा। इस ढाळ हम सच की आत्मा अर भ्रम की आत्मा नै पिच्छाण लेवां सां।
We are of God: he, that knoweth God, heareth us; but he, who is not of God, heareth not us. By this we know the Spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.
7 हे प्यारे बिश्वासी भाईयो, हम आप्पस म्ह प्यार करां; क्यूँके प्यार परमेसवर की ओड़ तै सै, जो कोए प्यार करै सै, वो परमेसवर की ऊलाद सै, अर वो परमेसवर नै जाणै सै।
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is from God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God.
8 जो दुसरयां तै प्यार न्ही करते, वो परमेसवर नै न्ही जाण्दा, क्यूँके परमेसवर प्यार सै।
He, that loveth not, knoweth not God: for God is love.
9 जो प्यार परमेसवर म्हारै तै करै सै, वो इसतै जाहिर होया के परमेसवर नै अपणे इकलौते बेट्टै ताहीं दुनिया म्ह भेज्जा सै, ताके हम उसकै जरिये सच्चे जीवन नै पावां।
In this was the love of God manifested towards us, that God sent his only-begotten Son into the world, that we might live through Him.
10 प्यार वो न्ही जो हमनै परमेसवर तै करया सै, बल्के प्यार वो सै जो उसनै म्हारै तै करया, के म्हारे पापां कै प्रायशिचित कै खात्तर अपणे बेट्टै ताहीं भेज्जा।
Herein is love; not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent his Son to be a propitiation for our sins.
11 हे प्यारे बिश्वासी भाईयो, जिब परमेसवर नै म्हारै ताहीं इसा प्यार करया, तो हमनै भी आप्पस म्ह प्यार करणा चाहिए।
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
12 परमेसवर ताहीं भी किसे नै न्ही देख्या; जै हम आप्पस म्ह प्यार करां, तो परमेसवर म्हारै म्ह बसा रहवै सै अर उसका प्यार म्हारै म्ह सिध्द होग्या।
No one hath ever seen God: but if we love one another, God dwelleth in us and his love is perfected in us.
13 इस्से तै हम जाणा सां के हम उस म्ह बणे रह्वा सां, अर वो म्हारै म्ह; क्यूँके उसनै अपणे पवित्र आत्मा म्ह तै म्हारै ताहीं दिया सै।
By this we know that we are in Him, and He in us; because He hath given us of his Spirit.
14 हमनै देख भी लिया अर गवाही देवा सां के पिता परमेसवर नै बेट्टे ताहीं दुनिया का उद्धारकर्ता बणाकै भेज्जा सै।
And we have seen, and do testify, that the Father hath sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
15 जो कोए या मान ले सै के यीशु परमेसवर का बेट्टा सै, परमेसवर उस माणस म्ह वास करै सै, अर वो परमेसवर म्ह।
Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God.
16 हम जाणगे सां, अर हमनै बिश्वास सै के परमेसवर म्हारै तै प्यार करै सै। परमेसवर प्यार सै, अर जो प्यार म्ह बण्या रहवै सै, वो परमेसवर म्ह वास करै सै, अर परमेसवर उस म्ह वास करै सै।
And we have known and believed the love which God hath towards us: for God is love; and he, that dwelleth in love, dwelleth in God, and God in him.
17 इस्से तै प्यार म्हारै म्ह सिध्द होया, के न्याय कै दिन हमनै यो होसला मिलै, के परमेसवर हमनै दण्ड न्ही देगा। जिसा मसीह दुनिया म्ह रहन्दे होए परमेसवर म्ह वास करै था, उसाए हम भी परमेसवर म्ह वास करां सां।
Herein is love perfected with us, that we may have boldness in the day of judgement; for as He is, we also are in this world.
18 प्यार म्ह डर न्ही होंदा, बल्के सिध्द प्यार डर नै दूर करदे सै; क्यूँके डर का सम्बन्ध दण्ड तै होवै सै, अर जो डरै सै वो प्यार म्ह सिध्द न्ही होया।
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear; because fear hath torment; but he that feareth is not perfected in love.
19 हम इस करकै प्यार करा सां, के पैहले उसनै म्हारै तै प्यार करया।
We love Him, because He first loved us. If any one say,
20 जै कोए कहवै, “मै परमेसवर तै प्यार करुँ सूं,” पर अपणे बिश्वासी भाई तै बैर राक्खै तो वो झूठ्ठा सै; क्यूँके जो अपणे बिश्वासी भाई तै जिस ताहीं उसनै देख्या सै प्यार न्ही कर सकता, तो वो परमेसवर तै भी जिस ताहीं उसनै न्ही देख्या प्यार न्ही कर सकता।
I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for how can he, that loveth not his brother, whom he hath seen, love God whom he hath not seen?
21 परमेसवर तै हमनै यो हुकम मिल्या सै, कै जो कोए परमेसवर तै प्यार राक्खै सै वो अपणे भाई तै भी प्यार राक्खै।
And we have this commandment from Him, that he, who loveth God, should love his brother also.
