< Zakari 12 >
1 Pwofesi pawòl SENYÈ a konsènan Israël la. Konsa pale SENYÈ ki etann syèl yo a, ki poze fondasyon latè yo, e ki kreye lespri a lòm nan anndan l lan.
The prophecy of the word of the Lord concerning Israel, Saith the Lord, who stretcheth forth the heavens, and layeth the foundation of the earth, and formeth the spirit of man within him:
2 “Gade byen, Mwen ap fè Jérusalem vin yon tas ki va fè tout pèp ki antoure l yo, vin toudi. Epi nan lè syèj la kont Jérusalem nan, li va vin osi, kont Juda.
Behold, I will make Jerusalem a cup of confusion unto all the people round about; and also against Judah, who will have to be at the siege against Jerusalem.
3 Li va vin rive nan jou sa a, ke Mwen va fè Jérusalem vin yon wòch ki lou pou tout pèp yo. Tout ki vin leve l va vin blese grav. Epi tout nasyon latè yo va rasanble ansanm kont li.
And it shall come to pass on that day that I will make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all the people; all that burden themselves with it shall be severely cut: yet then will be gathered together against it all the nations of the earth.
4 Nan jou sa a,” deklare SENYÈ a: “Mwen va frape tout cheval yo pou l dezoryante, e chevalye yo avèk foli. Men Mwen va ouvri zye Mwen sou lakay Juda, pandan Mwen ap frape tout cheval a pèp nasyon yo, pou yo vin avèg.
On that day, saith the Lord, will I smite every horse with dizziness, and his rider with madness; but over the house of Judah will I open my eyes, while I will smite every horse of the people with blindness.
5 Konsa, tout chèf a Juda yo, va di nan kè yo: ‘Moun ki rete Jérusalem yo se fòs mwen nan SENYÈ dèzame yo, Bondye pa yo a.’
And the chiefs of Judah will say in their heart, A strong support for me are the inhabitants of Jerusalem through the Lord of hosts their God.
6 Nan jou sa a, Mwen va fè chèf Juda yo vin tankou yon gwo boukan dife pami mòso bwa yo, ak yon tòch k ap fè flanm dife pami pakèt sereyal yo. Yo va devore tout pèp ki ozanviwon yo, ni sou men dwat yo, ni sou men goch yo, pandan sila ki rete Jérusalem yo, va toujou demere nan pwòp lye pa yo Jérusalem.
On that day will I make the chiefs of Judah like a fire-hearth among the wood, and like a torch of fire among sheaves; and they shall devour on the right hand and on the left all the people round about; and Jerusalem shall be inhabited again in her own place, even in Jerusalem.
7 SENYÈ a va osi sove anpremye tant a Juda yo, pou glwa kay David la, e glwa a sila ki viv rete Jérusalem, p ap depase Juda.
The Lord also will save the tents of Judah first: in order that the glory of the house of David and the glory of the inhabitants of Jerusalem shall not become boastful over Judah.
8 Nan jou sa a, SENYÈ a va defann moun Jérusalem yo. Sila ki fèb pami yo nan jou sa a va tankou David, e kay David la va tankou Bondye, tankou zanj SENYÈ a devan yo.
On that day will the Lord be a shield around the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and the feeblest among them shall be on that day like David; and the house of David shall be like divine beings, like an angel of the Lord before them.
9 Epi nan jou sa a, Mwen va kòmanse detwi tout nasyon ki vini kont Jérusalem yo.
And it shall come to pass on that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that are come against Jerusalem.
10 Epi Mwen va vide sou kay David la, ak sou moun Jérusalem yo, Lespri a gras, ak Lespri lapriyè pou mande mizerikòd. Konsa, yo va gade vè Mwen menm Sila ke yo te pèse a. Yo va soufri gwo doulè pou Li, tankou yon moun k ap fè dèy pou yon sèl fis li genyen, e yo va kriye anpil anpil sou Li jan yon moun ta kriye sou sèl fis inik li.
But I will pour out over the house of David, and over the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of supplications: and they will look up toward me [for every one] whom they have thrust through, and they will lament for him, as one lamenteth for an only son, and weep bitterly for him, as one weepeth bitterly for the first-born.
11 Nan jou sa a, va gen gwo doulè Jérusalem, tankou fè dèy pou Hadadrimmon nan vale Meguiddon an.
On that day will the lamentation be great in Jerusalem, like the lamentation at Hadadrimmon in the valley of Megiddon.
12 Peyi a va kriye, chak fanmi apa; fanmi lakay David la, apa, e madanm yo, apa; fanmi lakay Nathan an, apa, e madanm yo apa;
And the land will mourn, every family apart by itself: the family of the house of David apart, and their wives apart; the family of the house of Nathan apart, and their wives apart;
13 fanmi lakay Levi, apa, e madanm yo, apa; fanmi a Schimeï yo, apa, e madanm yo, apa;
The family of the house of Levi apart, and their wives apart; the family of Shim'i apart, and their wives apart;
14 tout fanmi ki rete yo, chak fanmi apa; e madanm yo, apa.
All the families that remain, every family apart by itself, and their wives apart.
