< Tit 3 >
1 Raple yo pou soumèt yo a tout wayòm ak otorite yo, pou yo rete obeyisan, eprè pou tout bon zèv
do remind them to rulers (and *k*) to authorities to be subject, to be obedient, for every work good ready to be,
2 pou pa di mal de pèsòn, men toujou pezib; janti, e montre tout konsiderasyon pou tout moun.
no one to denigrate, peaceable to be, gentle, all showing humility toward all men.
3 Paske nou menm tou, yon fwa nou te ensanse, dezobeyisan twonpè, esklav a tout kalite move dezi ak plezi, e nou t ap pase lavi nou nan mechanste, lanvi, rayisman, nan rayi youn lòt.
Were for once also we ourselves foolish, disobedient, being deceived, serving lusts and pleasures various, in malice and envy living, hateful, hating one another.
4 Men lè bonte a Bondye, Sovè nou an, ak lanmou Li pou tout limanite a te parèt,
When however the kindness and the love of mankind appeared of the Savior of us God,
5 Li te sove nou, pa sou baz a zèv ladwati ke nou fè, men selon mizerikòd Li, pa lavaj a rejenerasyon an, e renouvèlman pa Lespri Sen an,
not by works in righteousness (that *N(k)O*) did we ourselves, but according to (*N(k)O*) His (mercy *N(k)O*) He saved us through [the] washing of regeneration and renewing of [the] Spirit Holy
6 ke Li te vide sou nou an abondans atravè Jésus Kri, Sovè nou an.
whom He poured out on us richly through Jesus Christ the Savior of us,
7 Konsa nou te vin jistifye pa lagras Li, pou nou ta kapab vin eritye selon esperans a lavi etènèl la. (aiōnios )
so that having been justified by that grace heirs (we may become *N(k)O*) according to [the] hope of life eternal.
Trustworthy [is] the saying, and concerning these things I want you to affirm strongly so that may take care to good works to be devoted those already believing (*k*) in God; These things are (*k*) excellent and profitable to men.
9 Men evite konfli ak jeneyaloji ki ranpli ak foli, avèk diskisyon sou Lalwa yo, paske yo san pwofi, e san valè.
Foolish however controversies and genealogies and (arguments *NK(O)*) and quarrels about [the] Law do yourself avoid; they are for unprofitable and worthless.
10 Apre yon premye ak yon dezyèm avètisman rejte yon nonm k ap mete divizyon.
A factious man after one and a second admonition do reject
11 Byen konnen ke yon moun konsa pèvèti. Li nan peche, e ap kondane pwòp tèt li.
knowing that has been corrupt such a man and is sinning being self-condemned.
12 Lè mwen voye Artémas oswa Tychique kote ou fè tout efò pou vini kote mwen nan Nicopolis, paske mwen deside pase sezon livè a la.
When I may send Artemas to you or Tychicus, do be diligent to come to me into Nicopolis; there for I have decided to winter.
13 Byen vit, voye avoka a, Zénas ak Apollos nan wout yo pou yo pa manke anyen.
Zenas the lawyer and Apollos earnestly do equip, so that nothing to them may be lacking.
14 Moun pa nou yo dwe osi aprann angaje yo nan bon zèv pou satisfè bezwen imedya yo, pou yo pa manke bay fwi.
should learn now also our own [people] to good works to devote themselves for necessary needs, so that not they may be unfruitful.
15 Tout sila ki avè m yo salye ou. Salye sila ki renmen nou nan lafwa yo. Ke lagras avèk nou tout.
Greet you those with me all. do greet those loving us in [the] faith. Grace [be] with all of you (Amen. *KO*) (to Titus of the Cretan church first overseer having been chosen It was written from Nicopolis of Macedonia. *K*)
