< Sòm 77 >

1 Pou direktè koral la: pou Jeduthun. Yon Sòm Asaph Vwa m leve vè Bondye! Mwen kriye pou sekou. Vwa m leve vè Bondye pou L tande mwen.
To the Chief Musician. On "Jeduthun." Asaph’s, a Melody. With my voice—unto God, will I make outcry, With my voice unto God, and he will give ear unto me;
2 Nan jou gwo twoub mwen an, mwen te chache SENYÈ a. Nan nwit, mwen te lonje men m san poze. Nanm mwen te refize rekonfòte.
In the day of my distress—unto My Lord, will I seek, My hand, by night, hath been outstretched and never once became slack, My soul, hath refused to be consoled;
3 Lè mwen sonje Bondye, alò, lespri m twouble. Mwen fè soupi; lespri m febli nèt.
I remember God and I murmur, I muse, and my spirit swooneth. (Selah)
4 Ou te kenbe zye mwen yo louvri. Mwen tèlman twouble ke m pa kab pale.
Thou hast held, watching, mine eyes, I was driven to and fro, and could not speak;
5 Mwen te reflechi sou jou lansyen yo, ane lontan yo.
I reasoned, Of the days of aforetime, Of the years of by-gone ages;
6 Chanson mwen, mwen va sonje pandan lannwit. Mwen reflechi tout tan nan kè mwen. Lespri m reflechi jis rive nan fon kè m:
I remember my song in the night, —With my own heart, I commune, And my spirit, maketh search: —
7 “Èske Senyè a va rejte nou pou tout tan? Èske Li p ap janm kite favè Li vini sou nou ankò?
For ages, will My Lord reject? And, not again, grant acceptance any more?
8 Èske lanmou dous Li a kite nou pou tout tan? Èske pwomès Li yo fini nèt?
Hath his lovingkindness, come to a perpetual end? Hath his word failed to generation after generation?
9 Èske Bondye te bliye gras Li, Oswa nan kòlè Li, èske Li te retire mizerikòd Li a?” Tan
Hath GOD, forgotten to show favour? Or hath he shut up, in anger, his compassions? (Selah)
10 Epi mwen te di: “Se chagren mwen ki fè m panse men dwat a Wo Pwisan an vin chanje.”
Then said I—An affliction to me, it is, The changing of the right hand of the Most High.
11 Mwen va sonje zèv SENYÈ yo. Anverite, Mwen va sonje mèvèy Ou yo nan tan ansyen yo.
I will remember the doings of Yah, Surely I will remember, out of aforetime, thy wonderful way;
12 Mwen va reflechi tout tan sou tout zèv Ou yo, pou m sonje nan kè m tout sa Ou te fè.
And will talk to myself of all thy work, And, of thy doings, will I muse: —
13 Chemen Ou a, O Bondye, se apa. Ki dye ki gran tankou Bondye pa nou an?
O God, in the sanctuary, is thy way, —Who is a great GOD like Elohim?
14 Ou se Bondye ki fè zèv mèvèy. Ou te fè pwisans Ou rekonèt pami pèp yo.
Thou, art GOD, doing wonderfully, —Thou hast made known, among the peoples, thy might;
15 Avèk pwòp pouvwa Ou, Ou te rachte pèp Ou a, fis a Jacob yo avèk Joseph. Tan
Thou didst redeem, with thine arm—Thy people, Thy sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Selah)
16 Dlo yo te wè Ou, O Bondye. Dlo yo te wè Ou. Yo te nan gran doulè. Anplis, fon yo te boulvèse.
The waters saw thee, O God, The waters saw thee, They were in birth-throes, Yea the resounding deeps were stirred;
17 Nwaj yo te vide gwo dlo. Syèl yo te bay gwo kout loray. Flèch Ou yo te lime pa isit e pa lòtbò.
The clouds, poured down waters, The skies uttered, a voice, Yea, thine arrows, flew hither and thither;
18 Bwi tonnè a eklate nan toubiyon an. Loray yo te klere tout tè a. Mond lan te tranble. Li te souke.
The, voice of thy thunder, was in the whirlwind, Thy lightnings illumined the world, The earth, trembled and quaked;
19 Chemen Ou an te nan lanmè a, e vwa Ou nan dlo pwisan yo. Kote Ou mache p ap kab dekouvri menm.
In the sea, was thy way, And, thy path, in the mighty waters, And, thy footprints, could not be known:
20 Ou te dirije pèp Ou a tankou yon bann, pa men Moïse avèk Aaron.
Thou didst lead, like a flock, thy people, By the hand of Moses and Aaron.
