1 Yon sòm David Fè m jistis, O SENYÈ, paske mwen te mache nan entegrite mwen. Mwen te mete konfyans mwen nan SENYÈ a san varye.

“Of David.” Judge me, O Lord; for I have indeed walked in my integrity: and in the Lord have I trusted; I shall not slip.

2 Chache anndan m, O SENYÈ, e pase mwen a leprèv. Sonde panse mwen avèk kè m.

Try me, O Lord, and prove me; purify my reins and my heart.

3 Paske lanmou dous Ou a devan zye m. Mwen te mache nan verite Ou.

For thy kindness is before my eyes; and I have walked in thy truth.

4 Mwen pa chita avèk mesye k ap twonpe moun yo. Ni mwen pa pale avèk (sila) k ap pran poz yo.

I have not sat with men of falsehood, and with dissemblers will I not enter [in communion].

5 Mwen rayi asanble malfektè yo, e mwen pa chita avèk mechan yo.

I have hated the assemblage of evil-doers; and with the wicked will I not sit.

6 Mwen va lave men m nan inosans, e mwen va antoure lotèl Ou, O SENYÈ,

I will wash in innocency my hands, and I will compass thy altar, O Lord:

7 pou m kapab pwoklame avèk vwa remèsiman a, e deklare tout mèvèy Ou yo.

That I may publish with a loud voice [my] thanksgiving, and relate all thy wondrous deeds.

8 O SENYÈ, Mwen renmen abitasyon lakay Ou, avèk kote ke glwa Ou rete a.

Lord, I love the site of thy house, and the place where thy glory dwelleth.

9 Pa retire nanm mwen ansanm avèk pechè yo, ni lavi m avèk mesye ki vèse san yo,

Take not away with sinners my soul, nor with men of blood my life;

10 nan men a (sila) ki gen manèv mechan yo, ki nan mechanste pote kado vèse anba tab yo.

In whose hands are wicked devices, and whose right hand is full of bribes.

11 Men pou mwen, mwen va mache nan entegrite mwen. Delivre mwen e fè m gras.

But as for me, I will walk in my integrity: redeem me, and be gracious unto me.

12 Pye m kanpe sou yon plas byen plat. Nan asanble a, mwen va beni SENYÈ a.

My foot standeth on an even place: in assemblies will I bless the Lord.
