< Sòm 2 >

1 Poukisa nasyon yo ap boulvèse konsa, e pèp yo fòmante yon vye bagay?
Whi gnastiden with teeth hethene men; and puplis thouyten veyn thingis?
2 Wa latè yo pran pòz yo e chèf yo pran konsèy ansanm kont SENYÈ a, e kont onksyone pa Li a:
The kyngis of erthe stoden togidere; and princes camen togidere ayens the Lord, and ayens his Crist?
3 “Annou chire chenn sa yo, e jete kòd ki mare nou yo!”
Breke we the bondis of hem; and cast we awei the yok of hem fro vs.
4 (Sila) ki chita nan syèl la ri; SENYÈ a ap moke yo.
He that dwellith in heuenes schal scorne hem; and the Lord schal bimowe hem.
5 Anplis, Li va pale avèk yo nan kòlè Li. Li va fè yo sezi nan kòlè Li.
Thanne he schal speke to hem in his ire; and he schal disturble hem in his stronge veniaunce.
6 Men pou Mwen menm, Mwen fin plase Wa Mwen an sou Sion, mòn sen Mwen an.
Forsothe Y am maad of hym a kyng on Syon, his hooli hil; prechynge his comaundement.
7 Anverite, Mwen va pale selon deklarasyon SENYÈ a; SENYÈ a te di Mwen: “Ou se Fis Mwen. Se jodi a, Mwen te fè Ou.
The Lord seide to me, Thou art my sone; Y haue gendrid thee to dai.
8 Mande Mwen, e Mwen va bay Ou nasyon yo kon eritaj, jis rive nan dènye pwent latè kon posesyon pa Ou.
Axe thou of me, and Y schal yyue to thee hethene men thin eritage; and thi possessioun the termes of erthe.
9 Ou va kase yo avèk yon baton fè, Ou va kraze yo tankou veso kanari.”
Thou schalt gouerne hem in an yrun yerde; and thou schalt breke hem as the vessel of a pottere.
10 Konsa, O wa yo, sèvi ak sajès. Fè atansyon, O jij sou latè yo.
And now, ye kyngis, vndurstonde; ye that demen the erthe, be lerud.
11 Adore SENYÈ a avèk gran respè e rejwi avèk tranbleman.
Serue ye the Lord with drede; and make ye ful ioye to hym with tremblyng.
12 Fè omaj a Fis la, pou L pa vin fache, epi ou ta mouri nan chemen an. Paske gwo chalè Li kab limen ase vit. A la beni se tout (sila) ki kache nan Li.
Take ye lore; lest the Lord be wrooth sumtyme, and lest ye perischen fro iust waie. Whanne his `ire brenneth out in schort tyme; blessed ben alle thei, that tristen in hym.
