Filip 2
1 Konsa, si gen ankourajman nan Kris, si gen konsolasyon nan lanmou, si gen amitye nan Lespri a, si gen afeksyon ak konpasyon,
Therefore, if there is any consolation in Christ, any solace of charity, any fellowship of the Spirit, any feelings of commiseration:
2 fè lajwa mwen vin konplè. Rete nan menm panse a, kenbe menm lanmou an, ak menm linite nan lespri a, byen deside sou yon sèl bi.
complete my joy by having the same understanding, holding to the same charity, being of one mind, with the same sentiment.
3 Pa fè anyen nan egoyis oubyen ak vye dezi vanite, men avèk refleksyon ki enb gade youn lòt kòm pi enpòtan ke nou menm.
Let nothing be done by contention, nor in vain glory. Instead, in humility, let each of you esteem others to be better than himself.
4 Pa sèlman chèche pwòp enterè pèsonèl pa nou, men osi enterè a lòt yo.
Let each of you not consider anything to be your own, but rather to belong to others.
5 Se pou nou genyen santiman sila nan nou menm ki te osi nan Kris Jésus a
For this understanding in you was also in Christ Jesus:
6 ki, malgre Li te egziste nan fòm Bondye pa t gade egalite li avèk Bondye yon choz pou L ta kenbe di,
who, though he was in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be seized.
7 men te vide tèt li, e te pran fòm a yon sèvitè-atache nèt, e te vin fèt nan imaj a lòm.
Instead, he emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men, and accepting the state of a man.
8 Kòmsi aparans Li te tankou yon moun, Li te bese tèt Li e te vin obeyisan jiska lanmò, menm lanmò sou yon kwa.
He humbled himself, becoming obedient even unto death, even the death of the Cross.
9 Akòz tout sa, Bondye te egzalte Li byen wo, e te bay Li non ki pi wo pase tout non yo,
Because of this, God has also exalted him and has given him a name which is above every name,
10 pouke nan non a Jésus a tout jenou va bese, sila ki nan syèl, sou latè, ak anba tè yo
so that, at the name of Jesus, every knee would bend, of those in heaven, of those on earth, and of those in hell, (questioned)
11 epi tout lang konfese ke Jésus Kri se Senyè a pou laglwa Bondye Papa a.
and so that every tongue would confess that the Lord Jesus Christ is in the glory of God the Father.
12 Konsa, byeneme mwen yo, menm jan ke nou te toujou obeyi, pa sèlman nan prezans mwen, menm koulye a plis toujou nan absans mwen fè travay sali nou an avèk lakrent ak tranbleman.
And so, my most beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but even more so now in my absence: work toward your salvation with fear and trembling.
13 Paske se Bondye k ap travay nan nou, pou fòme volonte ak zèv nou yo, selon bon plezi Li.
For it is God who works in you, both so as to choose, and so as to act, in accord with his good will.
14 Fè tout bagay san plenyen ni diskite.
And do everything without murmuring or hesitation.
15 Konsa nou va san fot e inosan, pitit a Bondye ki san repwòch nan mitan a yon jenerasyon kwochi e pèvèti. Pami yo, nou vin parèt kòm limyè nan mond lan,
So may you be without blame, simple sons of God, without reproof, in the midst of a depraved and perverse nation, among whom you shine like lights in the world,
16 k ap kenbe fèm a pawòl lavi a, pou nan jou a Kris la, mwen kapab gen rezon pou bay glwa, akoz ke m pa t kouri anven, ni travay anven.
holding to the Word of Life, until my glory in the day of Christ. For I have not run in vain, nor have I labored in vain.
17 Men menm si mwen vin vide nèt tankou yon bwason k ap ofri kòm sakrifis ak sèvis lafwa nou, mwen rejwi e mwen pataje lajwa m avèk nou tout.
Moreover, if I am to be immolated because of the sacrifice and service of your faith, I rejoice and give thanks with all of you.
18 Nou menm tou, mwen egzòte nou, rejwi menm jan an, e pataje lajwa nou avè m.
And over this same thing, you also should rejoice and give thanks, together with me.
19 Men mwen espere nan Senyè a Jésus pou voye Timothée kote nou byen vit, pou m kapab ankouraje tou lè m aprann de kijan nou ye.
Now I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, in order that I may be encouraged, when I know the things concerning you.
20 Paske m pa gen okenn lòt moun ak yon kè parèy a li menm, ki va vrèman konsène pou byen nou.
For I have no one else with such an agreeable mind, who, with sincere affection, is solicitous for you.
21 Paske yo tout chache pwòp enterè pa yo, e pa sila a Kris Jésus a.
For they all seek the things that are of themselves, not the things that are of Jesus Christ.
22 Men nou konnen prèv valè li, ke li te sèvi avè m pou avansman levanjil la, kòm yon pitit k ap sèvi papa li.
So know this evidence of him: that like a son with a father, so has he served with me in the Gospel.
23 Konsa, mwen espere voye li kote nou imedyatman, depi mwen wè kijan tout bagay ale avèk mwen.
Therefore, I hope to send him to you immediately, as soon as I see what will happen concerning me.
24 Men mwen gen konfyans mwen nan Senyè a ke mwen menm osi va vini toutalè.
But I trust in the Lord that I myself will also return to you soon.
25 Men m te panse li te nesesè pou voye Épaphrodite, frè m nan, ouvriye ak sòlda parèy mwen, e osi mesaje pa nou e sèvitè pou sa ke m bezwen.
Now I have considered it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and co-worker, and fellow soldier, and an attendant to my needs, but your Apostle.
26 Paske li te trè anvi wè nou tout, e te twouble akoz ke nou te tande ke li te malad.
For certainly, he has desired all of you, and he was saddened because you had heard that he was sick.
27 Paske vrèman, li te malad jis nan pwen pou l mouri, men Bondye te fè l gras, e pa li menm sèlman, men osi mwen menm, pou mwen pa ta vin genyen tristès sou tristès.
For he was sick, even unto death, but God took pity on him, and not only on him, but truly on myself also, so that I would not have sorrow upon sorrow.
28 Konsa, mwen te voye l avèk plis enpasyans toujou, pou lè nou wè l ankò, nou kapab rejwi, e mwen kapab enkyete mwens pou nou menm.
Therefore, I sent him more readily, in order that, by seeing him again, you may rejoice, and I may be without sorrow.
29 Konsa, resevwa li nan Senyè a avèk tout lajwa, e kenbe an wo estim moun tankou li,
And so, receive him with every joy in the Lord, and treat all those like him with honor.
30 paske li te prèske mouri pou zèv a Kris la, e te riske vi li pou konplete sa ki te manke nan sèvis nou pou mwen menm.
For he was brought close even to death, for the sake of the work of Christ, handing over his own life, so that he might fulfill what was lacking from you concerning my service.
