Then spake Yahweh onto Moses and onto Aaron saying:
2 Fis Israël yo va fè kan, chak bò kote pwòp drapo pa yo, avèk drapo lakay papa zansèt pa yo. Yo va fè kan antoure tant asanble a, a yon distans.
Every man—near his standard with the ensigns belonging to their ancestral houses, shall the sons of Israel encamp, —at a distance round about the tent of meeting, shall they encamp.
3 Alò, sila ki fè kan nan kote lès la vè solèy leve yo va sila nan drapo kan an Juda yo, selon lame pa yo. Chèf dirijan a fis Juda yo vaNachschon, fis a Amminadab la,
And they who encamp eastwards towards sunrise, shall be the standard of the camp of Judah by their hosts, —even the prince of the sons of Judah, Nashon, son of Amminadab;
4 avèk lame pa li. Men mesye ki te konte yo, swasann-katòz-mil-sis-san.
and his host, even they who are numbered of them, —seventy-four thousand and six hundred,
5 Sila ki fè kan bò kote li yo va nan tribi Issacar. Chèf dirijan an va Nethaneel, fis a Tsuar a,
Then they who encamp by him the tribe of Issachar, —even the prince of the sons of Issachar, Nethanel, son of Zuar;
6 avèk lame pa li. Mesye ki te konte yo te senkant-kat-mil-kat-san.
and his host even they who are numbered of them, —fifty-four thousand and four hundred.
7 Sila a va swiv pa Zabulon, avèk chèf dirijan fis Zabulon yo: Eliab, fis a Hélon an,
The tribe of Zebulun, even the prince of the sons of Zebulun, Eliab, son of Helon;
8 avèk lame pa li, men mesye ki te konte yo, senkant-sèt-mil-kat-san.
and his host, even they who are numbered of him, fifty-seven thousand and four hundred.
9 Total a mesye ki te konte nan kan Juda a te: san-katreven-si-mil-kat-san selon lame pa yo. Yo va sòti avan.
All they who are num-bered to the camp of Judah. a hundred and eighty-six thousand four hundred, by their hosts, shall first set forward.
10 Nan kote sid la va gen drapo a kan Ruben an selon lame pa yo. Chèf a fis Ruben yo te: Élitsur fis a Schedéur a,
The standard of the camp of Reuben southwards, by their hosts, —even the prince of the sons of Reuben, Elizur son of Shedeur;
11 avèk lame pa li. Men mesye ki konte yo, karant-si-mil-senk-san.
and his host, even they who are numbered of him, —forty-six thousand, and five hundred.
12 Sila ki fè kan bò kote li yo va nan tribi Siméon. Chèf a fis Siméon yo te: Schelumiel, fis a Tsurischaddaï la,
Then they who encamp by him, the tribe of Simeon, —even the prince of the sons of Simeon, Shelumiel son of Zurishaddai;
13 avèk lame pa li. Mesye ki te konte yo te senkant-nèf-mil-twa-san.
and his host, even they who are numbered of them, —fifty-nine thousand and three hundred.
14 Swiv pa tribi Gad la, avèk chèf a fis Gad yo: Éliasapah, fis a Déuel la,
Then the tribe of Gad, even the prince of the sons of Gad, Eliasaph son of Reuel;
15 avèk lame pa li. Men mesye ki te konte yo; karann-senk-mil-sis-san-senkant.
and his host, even they who are numbered of them, —forty-five thousand, and six hundred and fifty.
16 Total a mesye konte nan kan Ruben an te: san-senkanteyen-mil-kat-san-senkant. Se yo k ap sòti nan dezyèm nan.
All they who are num-bered to the camp of Reuben, —a hundred and fifty-one thousand and four hundred and fifty, by their hosts, and they in the second rank, shall set forward.
17 Konsa, tant asanble a va sòti avèk kan levit yo nan mitan kan yo. Menm jan ke yo fè kan an, konsa yo va sòti, chak moun nan plas li bò kote drapo pa li.
Then shall set forward the tent of meeting—the camp of the Levites in the midst of the camps, —as they encamp, so, shall they set forward, every man at the side thereof by their standards.
18 Nan kote lwès la, va gen drapo kan Ephraïm lan selon lame pa yo e chèf a fis Ephraïm yo va Élischama fis a Ammihud la.
the standard of the camp of Ephraim, by their hosts westwards, —even the prince of the sons of Ephraim, Elishama son of Ammihud;
19 Nan lame pa li, men sa ki konte yo; karann-mil-senk-san.
and his host, even they who are numbered of them, —forty thousand, and five hundred.
20 Akote li va gen tribi Manassé a, e chèf a fis Manassé yo te: Gamaliel, fis a Pedahstsur a,
Then by him, the tribe of Manasseh, even the prince of the sons of Manasseh, Gamaliel, son of Pedahzur;
21 avèk lame pa li. Men mesye sila ki te konte yo, trant-de-mil-de-san.
and his host, even they who are numbered of them, —thirty-two thousand and two hundred.
22 Apre se tribi a Benjamin an, e chèf a tribi Benjamin an te: Abidan, fis a Gideoni a,
Then the tribe of Benjamin, even the prince of the sons of Benjamin, Abidan, son of Gideoni;
23 avèk lame pa li. Men mesye sila ki te konte yo; trann-senk-mil-kat-san.
and his host, even they who are numbered of them, —thirty-five thousand and four hundred.
24 Total a mesye konte nan kan Ephraïm yo te: san-ui-mil-san pa lame pa yo. Yo va sòti nan twazyèm nan.
All they who are numbered to the camp of Ephraim a hundred and eight thousand and one hundred by their hosts, and they in the third rank, shall set forward.
25 Nan kote nò va gen drapo pou kan Dan an, selon lame pa yo, e chèf a fis Dan yo te: Ahiézer, fis a Ammischaddaï a,
the standard of the camp of Dan, north-wards by their hosts, even the prince of the sons of Dan, Ahiezer, son of Ammishaddai:
26 avèk lame pa li. Men mesye ki te konte yo; swasann-de-mil-sèt-san.
and his host, even they who are numbered of them, —sixty-two thousand and seven hundred.
27 Sila ki fè kan bò kote li yo va nan tribi Aser, e chèf a fis a Aser yo te: Paguiel, fis a Ocran an,
Then they who encamp by him the tribe of Asher, —even the prince of the sons of Asher, Pagiel, son of Ochran;
28 avèk lame pa li. Men mesye sila ki te konte yo; karanteyen-mil-senk-san.
and his host, even they who are numbered of them, —forty-one thousand and five hundred.
29 Apre se te tribi a Nephtali a, e chèf a fis a Nephtali yo te: Ahira, fis a Énan an,
Then the tribe of Naphtali, —even the prince of the sons of Naphtali, Ahira, son of Enan;
30 avèk lame pa li. Men mesye sila ki te konte yo; senkant-twa-mil-kat-san.
and his host, even they who are numbered of them, —fifty-three thousand and four hundred,
31 Total a mesye nan kan Dan yo te san-senkant-sèt-mil-sis-san. Yo va sòti dènye avèk drapo pa yo.
All they who are numbered to the camp of Dan, a hundred and fifty-seven thousand and six hundred, in the hindmost rank, shall they set forward, by their standards.
32 Sa yo se mesye ki te konte a fis Israël yo selon lakay papa zansèt pa yo; total a mesye a tout kan yo ki te konte pa lame yo te sis-san-twa-mil-senk-san-senkant
These, are they who were numbered of the sons of Israel by their ancestral houses, —all they who were numbered of the camps by their hosts were six hundred and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
33 Malgre sa, Levit yo pa t konte pami fis Israël yo, jan ke SENYÈ a te kòmande Moïse la.
But the Levites, were not numbered in the midst of the sons of Israel, —As Yahweh commanded Moses.
34 Konsa fis a Israël te fè. Selon tout sa ke SENYÈ a te kòmande Moïse yo, yo te fè kan bò kote drapo pa yo, e konsa yo te sòti, yo chak avèk pwòp fanmi pa yo selon lakay zansèt papa yo.
Thus did the sons of Israel, —according to all that Yahweh commanded Moses, so, did they encamp by their standards, and so, did they set forward, every one by his families near his ancestral house.
