1 Alò, dezyèm tiraj osò a te tonbe a Siméon, a tribi a fis a Siméon yo selon fanmi pa yo e eritaj pa yo te nan mitan eritaj a fis Juda yo.
The second/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Simeon. Each clan in that tribe was allotted some land that was inside the area that had been allotted to the tribe of Judah.
2 Konsa, yo te gen kòm eritaj yo Beer-Schéba, Schéba ak Molada,
Their land included the towns of Beersheba ([which is also named] Sheba), Moladah,
3 avèk Hatsar-Schual, Bala, Atsem,
Hazar-Shual, Balah, Ezem,
4 Eltholad, Bethul, Horma
Eltolad, Bethul, Hormah,
5 Tsiklag, Beth-Marcaboth, Hatsar-Susa,
Ziklag, Beth-Marcaboth. Hazar-Susah,
6 Beth-Lebaoth ak Scharuchen, trèz vil avèk bouk pa yo;
Beth-Lebaoth, and Sharuhen. Altogether there were 13 towns and the surrounding villages.
7 Aïn, Rimmon, Éther ak Aschan, kat vil avèk bouk pa yo;
The land allotted to them also included the four cities of Ain, Rimmon, Ether, and Ashan, and their surrounding villages.
8 epi tout bouk ki antoure vil sa yo, jis rive nan Baalath-Beer, ki se Ramath a Negev la. Sa se te eritaj a tribi fis a Siméon yo selon fanmi pa yo.
They were also allotted some very small villages in an area that extended south to Baalath-Beer (which is [also named] Ramah, in the southern desert). That was the land allotted to the clans of the tribe of Simeon.
9 Eritaj a fis Siméon yo te sòti depi nan pòsyon fis Juda yo, paske pòsyon Juda a te twò gran pou yo. Konsa, fis a Siméon yo te resevwa eritaj nan mitan eritaj Juda a.
The tribe of Judah had been allotted much more land than they needed, so part of their land was given to the tribe of Simeon.
10 Alò, twazyèm tiraj osò a te monte pou fis Zabulon yo, selon fanmi pa yo. Epi teritwa eritaj pa yo a te rive jis Sarid.
The third/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Zebulun. Each clan of that tribe was allotted some of the land. The southern border started at Sarid [city].
11 Lizyè pa yo a te rive nan lwès jis Mareala e te touche Dabbéscheth pou te rive nan ti rivyè ki devan Jokneam nan.
It extended west to Maralah [city] and on to Dabbesheth [city], and on to the brook just north of Jokneam [city].
12 Epi li te vire soti nan Sarid vè lès, vè solèy leve, jis rive nan fwontyè Kisloth-Thabor, kouri rive nan Dabrath e monte a Japhia.
The border extended east from Sarid to the area near Kisloth-Tabor [city] and on to Daberath [town] and on to Japhia [town].
13 Soti la, li te kouri vè lès, vè solèy leve, pou rive Guittha-Hépher, a Ittha-Katsin pou kontinye a Rimmon e lonje jis rive Néa.
From there it extended east to Gath-Hepher [city] and Eth-Kazin [town], and north to Rimmon [city]. From there the border extended [west] to Neah [town].
14 Lizyè a te koube antoure li vè nò rive nan Hannathon e li te fè bout li nan vale Jiphthach-El.
From Neah it extended south to Hannathon [city] and from there to Iphtah-El Valley.
15 Konte ladann tou, se te Katthath, Nahaial, Schimron, Jideala, Bethléem. Douz vil avèk bouk pa yo.
Their area included the towns of Kattath, Nahalal, Shimron, Idalah, and Bethlehem. Altogether there were twelve towns and the surrounding villages.
16 Sa se te eritaj a fis Zabulon yo, selon fanmi pa yo, vil sa yo avèk bouk pa yo.
That was the land that was allotted to the clans of the tribe of Zebulun.
17 Katriyèm tiraj osò a te tonbe a Issacar; pou fis Issacar yo avèk fanmi pa yo.
The fourth/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Issachar. Each of the clans of that tribe was allotted some of the land.
18 Teritwa pa yo a te rive Jizreel, avèk Kesulloth ak Sunem,
Their land included the cities of Jezreel, Kesulloth, Shunem,
19 Hapharaïm, Schion, Anacharath,
Hapharaim, Shion, Anaharath,
20 Rabbith, Kischjon, Abets,
Rabbith, Kishion, Ebez,
21 Rémeth, En-Gannim, En-Hadda, avèk Beth-Patsets:
Remeth, En-Gannim, En-Haddah, and Beth-Pazzez.
22 Lizyè a te rive nan Thabor, nan Schachatsima, nan Beth-Schémesch e te fè bout li nan Jourdain an. Sèz vil avèk bouk pa yo.
The border of the area that was allotted to the tribe of Issachar was close to Tabor, Shahazumah, and Beth-Shemesh [cities], and ended [in the east] at the Jordan [River]. Altogether there were 16 cities and the surrounding villages.
23 Sa se te eritaj a tribi a fis Issacar yo selon fanmi pa yo, vil yo avèk bouk pa yo.
Those cities and villages were in the land allotted to the clans of the tribe of Issachar.
24 Alò senkyèm tiraj osò a te tonbe a tribi a fis Aser yo selon fanmi pa yo.
The fifth/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Asher. Each of the clans in that tribe was allotted some of the land.
25 Teritwa pa yo a se te Helkath, Hali, Béthen, Acschaph,
Their land included the towns of Helkath, Hali, Beten, Acshaph,
26 Allammélec, Amead avèk Mischeal; li te touche Carmel avèk Schichor-Libnath nan lwès.
Allammelech, Amad, and Mishal. The western border started at Carmel [Mountain] and Shihor-Libnath.
27 Li te vire vè lès a Beth-Dagon pou te rive a Zabulon, ak nan vale Jiphthach-El vè nò a Beth-Émek avèk Neïel e kontinye vè Cabul,
From there it extended [southeast] to Beth-Dagon [town], and then to [the area that was allotted to the tribe of] Zebulun and Iphtah-El Valley. From there the border extended east and then north to Beth-Emek [town] and Neiel and Cabul [towns].
28 avèk Ébron, Rehob, Hammon, ak Cana, jis rive nan Gran Sidon.
From there it extended west to Abdon, Rehob, Hammon, and Kanah [cities], and continued to Sidon, which is a big city.

From there the border extended south toward Ramah and to the big city of Tyre that had strong walls around it. From there the border extended [west] to Hosah [town] and ended at the [Mediterranean] Sea. Within their area were the towns of Aczib,
30 Osi, ladann se te Umma, Aphek, avèk Rehob. Venn-de vil avèk bouk pa yo.
Ummah, Aphek, and Rehob. Altogether there were 22 towns and their surrounding villages.

Those cities and villages were within the land that was allotted to the clans of the tribe of Asher.
32 Sizyèm tiraj osò a te tonbe pou fis Nephtali yo, selon fanmi pa yo.
The sixth/next tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Naphtali. Each of the clans in that tribe was allotted some of the land.
33 Lizyè pa yo a te soti nan Héleph, soti nan chèn a Tsaannim nan, Adami-Nékeb ak Jabneel, jis rive nan Lakkum pou li fin fè bout li nan Jourdain an.
The border of their land started [in the west] at the [huge] oak tree at Zaanannim, near Heleph [town]. It extended [east] through Adami-Nekeb [city] and Jabneel, and then to Lakkum, and ended at the Jordan [River].
34 Epi lizyè a te vire vè lwès nan Aznoth-Thabor pou te kontinye soti la a Hukkok; epi li te rive nan Zabulon vè sid, li te touche Aser sou lwès e Juda bò kote Jourdain an vè lès.
The western boundary extended through Aznoth-Tabor as far as Hukkok [city]. It extended to the borders of [the tribe of] Zebulun at the south, to [the border of the tribe of] Asher on the west, and the Jordan [River] at the east.
35 Vil fòtifye yo se te Tsiddim, Tser, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnéreth,
[Within their land were] several cities with strong walls around them. They were Ziddim, Zer, Hammath, Rakkath, Kinnereth,
36 Adama, Rama, Hatsor,
Adamah, Ramah, Hazor,
37 avèk Kédesch, Édréï, En-Hatsor,
Kedesh, Edrei, En-Hazor,
38 Jireon, Migdal-El, Horem, Beth-Anath, Beth-Schémesch. Dis-nèf vil avèk bouk pa yo.
Iron, Migdal-El, Horem, Beth-Anath, and Beth-Shemesh. Altogether there were 19 cities and the surrounding villages.

Those cities and surrounding villages were in the land that was allotted to the clans of the tribe of Naphtali.
40 Setyèm tiraj osò a te tonbe a tribi fis a Dan yo selon fanmi pa yo.
The seventh/last tribe that was allotted land was the tribe of Dan. Each of the clans in that tribe was allotted some of the land.
41 Teritwa a eritaj pa yo a se te Tsorea, Eschthaol, Ir-Schémesch,
Their land included the towns of Zorah, Eshtaol, Ir-Shemesh,
42 avèk Schaalabbin, Ajalon, Jithla,
Shaalabbin, Aijalon, Ithlah,
43 epi Élon, Thiminatha, Ékron,
Elon, Timnah, Ekron,
44 Eltheké, Guibbethon, Baalath,
Eltekeh, Gibbethon, Baalath,
45 Jehud, Bené-Berak, Gath-Rimmon,
Jehud, Bene-Berak, Gath-Rimmon,
46 Mé-Jarkon ak Rakkon, avèk teritwa ki anfas Japho a.

But the people of the tribe of Dan were unable to take control of the land that had been allotted to them. So they went [northeast] and fought against the people in Leshem [city]. They defeated and killed all the people who lived there. Then they began to live in Leshem, and changed the name of the city to Dan, the man from whom their tribe descended.

All of those towns and surrounding villages were in the land that was allotted to the clans in the tribe of Dan.
49 Lè yo te fin divize teren an kòm eritaj selon lizyè li, fis a Israël yo te bay yon eritaj nan mitan yo a Josué, fis a Nun nan.
After the Israeli leaders divided the land among the tribes, they allotted some land to Joshua.
50 An akò avèk kòmand SENYÈ a, yo te ba li vil ke li te mande a, Thimnath-Sérach nan peyi ti mòn a Éphraïm nan. Konsa, li te bati vil la e li te abite ladann.
They allotted to him Timnath-Serah. Yahweh had said that he could have whatever city he wanted, and that was the city that he chose. It was in the hilly region which was allotted to the tribe of Ephraim. Joshua rebuilt the city and lived there.

Those were the areas that were allotted to the various tribes of Israel. Eleazar the Supreme Priest and Joshua and the leaders of each tribe divided up the land while they were all at Shiloh, by (casting lots/throwing marked stones) [to decide which area each tribe would receive]. They did that while Yahweh was watching, at the entrance of the Sacred Tent. In that way they completed dividing up the land.
