< Jòb 37 >
1 “Pou sa, menm kè mwen konn tranble. Li vòltije kite plas li.
At this, my heart became frightened, and it has been moved from its place.
2 Koute, O koute byen bri vwa L, k ap gwonde tankou tonnè ak bri tonnè a k ap sòti nan bouch Li.
Pay close attention to the alarm of his voice and to the sound that proceeds from his mouth.
He beholds everything under the heavens, and his light reaches beyond the ends of the earth.
4 Apre sa, yon gwo vwa ki rele fò; Li gwonde ak vwa majeste Li a. Li pa menm ralanti eklè lè yo tande vwa L.
After this, a noise will sound; he will thunder with the voice of his greatness, and it will not be tracked down, yet his voice will be obeyed.
5 Bondye gwonde avèk vwa mèvèy Li a. L ap fè gwo bagay ke nou pa kab menm konprann.
God will thunder with his voice miraculously, for he performs great and unsearchable things.
He commands the snow to descend on earth, and the winter rains, and the shower of his strength.
7 Li sele men a chak òm, pou tout moun kab konnen zèv Li yo.
He signs the hand of all men, so that each one may know his works.
8 Konsa, tout bèt sovaj va antre nan kav yo e rete lakay yo.
The beast will enter his hiding-place, and he will remain in his cave.
9 Men sòti nan sid, tanpèt la parèt e nan nò, fredi a.
From the interior, a storm will come forth, and a cold winter from the north.
10 Soti nan souf Bondye, se glas ki fèt, e sifas dlo yo vin glasi.
As God breathes out, frost forms, and the waters are poured forth very widely again.
11 Anplis, Li chaje vapè yo ak dlo e fè nwaj la vin lou; Li fè nwaj la gaye pou vide ekleraj Li.
Crops desire clouds, and the clouds scatter their light.
12 Li chanje; Li gide l vire tounen pou l kab fè nenpòt sa Li kòmande l sou tout sifas tè a.
It shines all around, wherever the will of him that governs them will lead, to anywhere he will command, over the whole face of the earth,
13 Se swa pou koreksyon, oswa pou mond Li an, oswa pou lanmou dous Li a, Li fè sa vin rive.
whether in one tribe, or in his own region, or in whatever place of his mercy that he will order them to be found.
14 “Tande sa byen, O Job; Kanpe, e obsève mèvèy Bondye yo.
Listen to these things, Job. Stand up and consider the wonders of God.
15 Èske ou konnen kijan Bondye etabli tout sila yo, e fè ekleraj nan nwaj Li yo vin limen?
Do you know when God ordered the rains, so as to show the light of his clouds?
16 Èske ou konnen bagay a chak kouch nan nwaj yo, mèvèy a Sila a ki pafè nan konesans?
Do you know the great paths of the clouds, and the perfect sciences?
Are not your garments hot, when the south wind blows across the land?
18 Èske ou menm tou, ansanm avè L, ka ouvri syèl yo ki gen gran fòs tankou yon miwa metal ki fann nan dife?
Perhaps you have made the heavens with him, which are very solid, as if they had been cast from brass.
19 Enstwi nou kisa pou nou ta pale Li; paske akoz fènwa a, nou pa kab byen ranje ka nou.
Reveal to us what we should say to him, for, of course, we are wrapped in darkness.
Who will explain to him the things that I am saying? Even while a man is still speaking, he will be devoured.
21 “Alò lezòm pa wè limyè ki klere nan syèl yo sof ke van an fin pase e eklèsi nwaj yo.
Although they do not see the light, the air will be thickened suddenly into clouds, and the wind, passing by, will drive them away.
22 Sòti nan nò, se reyon majeste an lò; Bondye antoure ak majeste etonnan.
Riches arrive from the north, and fearful praise reaches out to God.
23 Toupwisan an, —nou pa kab jwenn Li. Li egzalte nan pouvwa Li. Jistis Li ak ladwati Li gran; Li pa janm oprime.
We are not worthy to be able to find him. Great in strength, great in judgment, great in justice: he is indescribable.
Therefore, men will fear him, and all those who seem to themselves to be wise, will not dare to contemplate him.
