< Jeremi 32 >

1 Pawòl ki te vini a Jérémie soti nan SENYÈ a, nan dizyèm ane Sédécias, wa Juda a, ki te nan dizuityèm ane a Nebucadnetsar.
The word that was maad of the Lord to Jeremye, in the tenthe yeer of Sedechie, kyng of Juda; thilke is the eiytenthe yeer of Nabugodonosor.
2 Alò, nan lè sa a, lame a wa Babylone nan t ap fè syèj sou Jérusalem, e Jérémie, pwofèt la, te fèmen nan lakou gad ki te lakay wa a Juda a.
Thanne the oost of the kyng of Babiloyne bisegide Jerusalem; and Jeremye, the profete, was closid in the porche of the prisoun, that was in the hous of the kyng of Juda.
3 Akoz Sédécias, wa Juda a te mete li nan prizon e te di: “Poukisa ou pwofetize konsa pou di: ‘Konsa pale SENYÈ a: “Gade byen, Mwen prèt pou bay vil sa a nan men a Wa Babylone nan e li va pran l;
For whi Sedechie, the kyng of Juda, hadde closid hym, and seide, Whi profesiest thou, seiynge, The Lord seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal yyue this citee in the hond of the kyng of Babyloyne, and he schal take it; and Sedechie,
4 epi Sédécias, wa Juda a p ap chape nan men a Kaldeyen yo, men anverite, li va livre bay nan lamen wa Babylone nan. Li va pale ak li fasafas e va wè li zye nan zye.
the kyng of Juda, schal not ascape fro the hond of Caldeis, but he schal be bitake in to the hond of the kyng of Babiloyne; and his mouth schal speke with the mouth of hym, and hise iyen schulen se the iyen of hym;
5 Epi konsa, li va pran Sédécias fè l rive Babylone e li va la jiskaske Mwen vizite li,” deklare SENYÈ a. “Malgre nou goumen kont Kaldeyen yo, nou p ap reyisi.”’”
and he schal lede Sedechie in to Babiloyne, and he schal be there, til Y visyte hym, seith the Lord; forsothe if ye fiyten ayens Caldeis, ye schulen haue no thing in prosperite?
6 Jérémie te reponn: “Pawòl SENYÈ a te rive kote mwen e te di:
And Jeremye seide, The word of the Lord was maad to me, and seide, Lo!
7 Gade byen, Hanameel, fis a Schallum nan, tonton ou, ap vin kote ou, e li va di: ‘Achte pou ou menm chan mwen ki nan Anathoth, paske se ou menm ki gen dwa redanmsyon pou achte l.’”
Ananeel, the sone of Sellum, the sone of thi fadris brothir, schal come to thee, and seie, Bi thou to thee my feeld, which is in Anathot; for it bifallith to thee by niy kynrede, that thou bie it.
8 “Konsa, Hanameel, fis a tonton m nan, te vin kote mwen nan lakou gad la selon pawòl SENYÈ a. Li te di mwen: ‘Achte chan mwen an, souple, ki Anathoth, nan peyi Benjamin an; paske ou gen dwa posede l e redanmsyon an se pou ou. Achte l pou ou menm.’ “Epi mwen te konnen ke sa se te pawòl SENYÈ a.
And Ananeel, the sone of my fadris brothir, cam to me, bi the word of the Lord, to the porche of the prisoun, and seide to me, Welde thou my feeld, which is in Anathot, in the lond of Beniamyn; for whi the erytage bifallith to thee, and thou art the next of blood, that thou welde it. Forsothe Y vndirstood, that it was the word of the Lord.
9 Mwen te achte chan ki te Anathoth la nan men Hanameel, fis a tonton m nan e mwen te peze ajan bay pou li, disèt sik ajan.
And Y bouyte the feeld, which is in Anathot, of Ananeel, the sone of my fadris brothir. And Y paiede to hym siluer, seuene stateris, and ten platis of siluer;
10 Mwen te siyen e mete so sou papye tè a, te rele temwen, e te peze ajan sou balans pou bay.
and Y wroot in a book, and Y seelide, and Y yaf witnessis. And Y weiede siluer in a balaunce;
11 Alò, mwen te pran papye vant lan, ansanm ak kopi ki te fèmen anba so a, tout tèm ak kondisyon vant yo, ak kopi a ouvri.
and Y took the book aseelid of possessioun, and axingis and answerys of the seller and bier, and couenauntis, and seelis withoutforth.
12 Epi mwen te bay papye vant lan bay Baruc, fis a Nérija a, fis a Macheséja a, devan zye a Hanameel, fis a tonton m nan, e devan zye a temwen ki te siyen papye vant lan, devan tout Jwif ki te chita nan lakou gad yo.
And Y yaf the book of possessioun to Baruc, the sone of Neri, sone of Maasie, bifore the iyen of Ananeel, the sone of my fadris brother, and bifore the iyen of witnessis that weren writun in the book of biyng, bifore the iyen of alle Jewis, that saten in the porche of the prisoun.
13 “Epi mwen te kòmande Baruc nan prezans yo, e mwen te di:
And Y comaundide to Baruc bifore hem,
14 Konsa pale SENYÈ dèzame yo, Bondye Israël a: ‘Pran papye tè sila yo, zak vant sa a ki fèmen ak so, ansanm ak zak vant sa a ki ouvri, e mete yo nan yon veso fèt ak ajil, pou yo ka dire pou anpil tan.’
and Y seide, The Lord of oostis, God of Israel, seith these thingis, Take thou these bookis, this seelid book of biyng, and this book which is opyn, and putte thou tho in an erthen vessel, that tho moun dwelle bi many daies.
15 Paske konsa pale SENYÈ dèzame yo, Bondye Israël la: ‘Kay yo, jaden yo ak chan rezen yo ap vin achte ankò nan peyi sa a.’
For whi the Lord of oostis, God of Israel, seith these thingis, Yit housis, and feeldis, and vynes schulen be weldid in this lond.
16 “Lè mwen te fin bay papye tè a a Baruc, fis a Nérija a; alò, mwen te priye a SENYÈ a, e te di:
And Y preiede to the Lord, aftir that Y bitook the book of possessioun to Baruc, the sone of Nery; and Y seide, Alas!
17 ‘A, SENYÈ Bondye! Gade byen, Ou te fè syèl yo ak tè a ak gran pouvwa Ou, e ak men Ou lonje! Nanpwen anyen ki twò difisil pou Ou,
alas! alas! Lord God, Lord, thou madist heuene and erthe in thi greet strengthe, and in thin arm stretchid forth; ech word schal not be hard to thee;
18 Ou menm ki montre lanmou dous a dè milye, men rekonpanse inikite a papa yo nan sen a jenerasyon k ap swiv yo. Gran e pwisan Bondye, SENYÈ dèzame yo se non Li.
which doist merci in thousyndis, and yeldist the wickidnesse of fadris in to the bosum of her sones aftir hem. Thou strongeste, greet, myyti, Lord of oostis is name to thee;
19 Gran an konsèy e pwisan an zèv, ki gen zye ki ouvri nan tout chemen a fis a lòm yo, ki rekonpanse tout moun selon chemen li, e selon fwi lan a zèv li;
greet in councel, and vncomprehensible in thouyt, whose iyen ben open on alle the weies of the sones of Adam, that thou yelde to ech aftir hise weies, and aftir the fruyt of hise fyndyngis;
20 ki te opere sign ak mèvèy nan peyi Égypte la, jis rive nan jou sa a, an Israël e pami tout imanite; epi Ou te fè yon non pou Ou menm, jan sa ye jodi a.
which settidist signes and greet woundris in the lond of Egipt, `til to this dai, bothe in Israel and in men; and madist to thee a name, as this dai is.
21 Ou te mennen pèp Ou a, Israël sòti nan peyi Égypte ak sign ak mèvèy, avèk yon men pwisan, yon bra lonje e avèk gwo laperèz.
And thou leddist thi puple Israel out of the lond of Egipt, in signes and in greet woundris, and in a strong hond, and in an arm holdun forth, and in greet dreed; and thou yauest to hem this lond,
22 Epi Ou te bay yo peyi sa a, ke Ou te sèmante a papa zansèt yo pou bay yo, yon peyi k ap koule ak lèt ak siwo myèl.
which thou sworist to the fadris of hem, that thou woldist yyue to hem, a lond flowynge with milk and hony.
23 Yo te antre e te pran posesyon li, men yo pa t obeyi a vwa Ou, ni mache nan lalwa Ou. Yo pa t fè anyen nan tout sa Ou te kòmande yo fè yo. Pou sa, Ou fè tout malè sa a rive sou yo.
And thei entriden, and hadden it in possessioun; and thei obeieden not to thi vois, and thei yeden not in thi lawe; alle thingis whiche thou comaundidist to hem to do, thei diden not; and alle these yuels bifellen to hem.
24 “Gade byen, men balkon tè syèj yo fin rive kote vil la pou pran l. Epi vil la fin bay nan men a Kaldeyen ki goumen kont li yo, akoz nepe, ak gwo grangou, avèk ensèk ak maladi ki devaste. Konsa, sa Ou te pale a fin rive. Gade byen, Ou wè l.
Lo! strengthis ben bildid ayens the citee, that it be takun, and the citee is youun in to the hondis of Caldeis, and in to the hondis of the kyng of Babiloyne, that fiyten ayens it, of the face of swerd, and of hungur, and of pestilence; and what euer thingis thou spakest, bifellen, as thou thi silf seest.
25 Ou te di mwen, O Senyè BONDYE, ‘Achte pou ou menm chan an ak lajan; rele temwen yo’ —malgre vil la fin bay nan men a Kaldeyen yo.”
And Lord God, thou seist to me, Bie thou a feeld for siluer, and yyue thou witnessis, whanne the citee is youun in the hondis of Caldeis.
26 Konsa, pawòl SENYÈ a te rive a Jérémie. Li te di:
And the word of the Lord was maad to Jeremye, and seide, Lo!
27 “Gade byen, Mwen se SENYÈ a, Bondye a tout chè yo. Èske gen bagay twò difisil pou Mwen?
Y am the Lord God of `al fleisch. Whether ony word schal be hard to me?
28 Pou sa, pale SENYÈ a: ‘Gade byen, Mwen prèt pou bay vil sa a nan men a Kaldeyen yo, e nan men a Nebucadnetsar, wa Babylone nan, e li va pran l.
Therfor the Lord seith these thingis, Lo! Y schal bitake this citee in to the hondis of Caldeis, and in to the hond of the kyng of Babiloyne, and he schal take it.
29 Kaldeyen k ap goumen kont vil sa yo va antre mete dife nan tout vil sa a, e brile li, ak kay kote te gen ofrann lansan a Baal sou twati yo, e yo te vide ofrann bwason yo a lòt dye pou fè M fache.’”
And Caldeis schulen come, and fiyte ayens this citee, and thei schulen brenne it with fier, and thei schulen brenne it, and housis, in whose rooues thei sacrifieden to Baal, and offriden moist sacrifices to alien goddis, to terre me to wraththe.
30 “Anverite, fis Israël yo ak fis Juda yo t ap fè sèlman sa ki mal devan zye M soti nan jenès yo; paske fis a Israël yo te pwovoke M sèlman a lakòlè ak zèv men yo”, deklare SENYÈ a.
For whi the sones of Israel and the sones of Juda diden yuel contynueli, fro her yonge waxynge age, bifore myn iyen, the sones of Israel, whiche `til to now wraththen me bi the werk of her hondis, seith the Lord.
31 “Anverite, vil sa a te atire kòlè M ak raj Mwen an soti nan jou ke yo te bati li a, menm rive nan jou sa a, pou sa ta dwe retire devan figi Mwen,
For whi this citee is maad to me in my strong veniaunce and indignacioun, fro the day in which thei bildiden it, `til to this dai, in which it schal be takun awei fro my siyt;
32 akoz tout mechanste ke fis Israël yo ak fis Juda yo te fè, pou yo ta pwovoke Mwen a lakòlè—yo menm, wa yo, chèf yo, prèt yo, pwofèt yo, mesye a Juda yo, ak tout moun ki rete Jérusalem yo.
for the malice of the sones of Israel, and of the sones of Juda, which thei diden, terrynge me to wrathfulnesse, thei, and the kyngis of hem, the princes of hem, and the prestis, and profetis of hem, the men of Juda, and the dwelleris of Jerusalem.
33 Yo te vire do ban Mwen olye figi yo. Malgre enstriksyon ke Mwen te bay yo ankò e ankò, men yo pa t ap koute M pou resevwa lenstriksyon an.
And thei turneden to me the backis, and not the faces, whanne Y tauyte, and enformede hem erli; and thei nolden here, that thei schulden take techyng.
34 Men yo te mete bagay abominab pa yo nan kay ki rele pa non pa M nan, pou souye l.
And thei settiden her idols in the hous, in which my name is clepid to help, that thei schulden defoule it.
35 Yo te bati wo plas a Baal ki nan vale Ben-Hinnom nan, pou fè fis yo pase nan dife a Moloc, bagay ke M pa t kòmande yo, ni sa pa t antre nan panse M ke yo ta dwe fè bagay abominab sa a, pou fè Juda peche.”
And thei bildiden hiy thingis to Baal, that ben in the valei of the sones of Ennon, that thei schulden halewe her sones and her douytris to Moloc, which thing Y comaundide not to hem, nether it stiede in to myn herte, that thei schulden do this abhomynacioun, and brynge Juda in to synne.
36 Alò, pou sa, konsa pale SENYÈ a, Bondye Israël la, konsènan vil sa a ke ou te di: “Li te livre nan men a wa a Babylone nan pa nepe, pa gwo grangou, e pa gwo epidemi.”
And now for these thingis, the Lord God of Israel seith these thingis to this citee, of whiche ye seien, that it schal be bitakun in to the hondis of the kyng of Babiloyne, in swerd, and in hungur, and in pestilence, Lo!
37 “Gade byen, Mwen va ranmase yo soti nan tout peyi kote Mwen te pouse bourade yo, ale nan kòlè ak raj Mwen an, ak gran endiyasyon Mwen an; epi Mwen va mennen yo retounen nan plas sa a. Epi la, Mwen va fè yo rete anpè.
Y schal gadere hem fro alle londis, to whiche Y castide hem out in my strong veniaunce, and in my wraththe, and in greet indignacioun; and Y schal brynge hem ayen to this place, and Y schal make hem to dwelle tristili.
38 Yo va pèp Mwen e Mwen va Bondye yo;
And thei schulen be in to a puple to me, and Y schal be in to God to hem.
39 Epi Mwen va bay yo yon sèl kè ak yon sèl chemen pou yo ka toujou gen lakrent Mwen pou pwòp byen pa yo e pou byen a pitit apre yo.
And Y schal yyue to hem oon herte and o soule, that thei drede me in alle daies, and that it be wel to hem, and to her sones aftir hem.
40 Mwen va fè yon akò k ap pou tout tan nèt avèk yo, ke Mwen p ap vire kite yo, pou fè yo byen. Konsa Mwen va mete lakrent Mwen anndan kè yo pou yo pa vire kite Mwen.
And Y schal smyte to hem a couenaunt euerlastynge, and Y schal not ceese to do wel to hem, and Y schal yyue my drede in the herte of hem, that thei go not awey fro me.
41 Mwen va rejwi de yo pou fè byen pou yo. E Mwen va, ak fidelite, plante yo nan peyi sa a, ak tout kè Mwen e ak tout nanm Mwen.”
And Y schal be glad on hem, whanne Y schal do wel to hem; and Y schal plaunte hem in this lond in treuthe, in al myn herte, and in al my soule.
42 Paske SENYÈ a di, “Menm jan ke M te mennen tout gwo dezas sa a sou pèp sa a, konsa Mwen va mennen sou yo tout bonte ke Mwen ap pwomèt yo.
For the Lord seith these thingis, As Y brouyte on this puple al this greet yuel, so Y schal brynge on hem al the good, which Y schal speke to hem.
43 Chan yo va vin achte nan peyi sa a kote ou te di: ‘Sa se yon dezolasyon, san moun ni bèt. Li livre nan men a Kaldeyen yo.’
And feeldis schulen be weldid in this lond, of which ye seien, that it is desert, for no man and beeste is left; and it is youun in to the hondis of Caldeis.
44 Mesye yo va achte chan yo pou lajan, siyen, mete so sou papye tè yo, e rele temwen nan peyi Benjamin an, nan andwa a Jérusalem yo, nan vil a Juda yo, nan vil a peyi kolin yo, nan vil nan ba plèn yo, ak nan vil dezè yo; paske Mwen va ranvèse kaptivite yo,” deklare SENYÈ a.
Feeldis schulen be bouyt for money, and schulen be writun in a book, and a seel schal be preentid; and witnessis schulen be youun, in the lond of Beniamyn, and in the cumpas of Jerusalem, and in the citees of Juda, and in the citees in hilli places, and in the citees in feeldi places, and in the citees that ben at the south; for Y schal turne the caitiftee of hem, seith the Lord.
