< Ezekyèl 35 >
1 Anplis, pawòl SENYÈ a te vin kote Mwen. Li te di:
Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
2 “Fis a lòm, mete figi ou kont Mòn Séir e pwofetize kont li.
Son of man, set your face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it,
3 Di li: ‘Konsa pale Senyè BONDYE a: “Gade byen, Mwen kont ou, Mòn Séir, Mwen va lonje men M kont ou pou fè ou vin yon dezolasyon ak yon dezè.
And say to it, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against you, and I will stretch out my hand against you, and I will make you most desolate.
I will lay your cities waste, and you shall be desolate, and you shall know that I am the LORD.
5 “‘“Paske ou te gen rayisman san rete, e ou te livre fis Israël yo anba pouvwa nepe a nan lè malè yo, nan lè gwo pinisyon lafen an.
Because you have had a perpetual hatred, and have shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:
6 Akoz sa, jan Mwen viv la”, deklare Senyè BONDYE a: “Mwen va livre ou a san vèse, san vèse va swiv ou. Akoz ou pa t rayi san vèse, pou sa, san vèse va swiv ou.
Therefore, as I live, says the Lord GOD, I will prepare you to blood, and blood shall pursue you: since you have not hated blood, even blood shall pursue you.
7 Mwen va fè Mòn Séir vin yon dezè ak yon kote dezole. Mwen va dekoupe retire nèt sou li sila k ap pase antre retou ladann li.
Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passes out and him that returns.
8 Mwen va plen mòn li yo ak kadav li yo.
And I will fill his mountains with his slain men: in your hills, and in your valleys, and in all your rivers, shall they fall that are slain with the sword.
I will make you perpetual desolations, and your cities shall not return: and you shall know that I am the LORD.
10 “‘“Akoz ou te di: ‘De Nasyon sila yo ak de peyi sa yo va pou mwen e nou va posede yo,’ sepandan, SENYÈ a te la,
Because you have said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD was there:
11 Jan Mwen viv la”, deklare Senyè Bondye a: “Mwen va regle ou selon kòlè ou ak selon jalouzi ke ou te montre, akoz rayisman ou kont yo. Konsa, Mwen va fè Mwen menm vin rekonèt pami yo lè M jije ou.
Therefore, as I live, says the Lord GOD, I will even do according to your anger, and according to your envy which you have used out of your hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged you.
12 Nan lè sa a, ou va konnen ke Mwen menm, SENYÈ a, te tande tout vye mo ou yo; sa ke ou te pale kont mòn Israël yo lè ou te di: ‘Yo fin dezole nèt. Yo fin livre nan men nou pou manje nèt.’
And you shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have heard all your blasphemies which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.
13 Konsa, ou te pale ak awogans kont Mwen e ou te miltipliye pawòl ou yo kont Mwen. Mwen te tande sa.”
Thus with your mouth you have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard them.
14 Konsa pale Senyè BONDYE a: “Pandan tout tè a ap rejwi, Mwen va fè ou vin yon dezolasyon.
Thus says the Lord GOD; When the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate.
As you did rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do to you: you shall be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, even all of it: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
