< Ezekyèl 24 >

1 Ankò pawòl SENYÈ a te vin kote mwen, nan nevyèm ane, nan dizyèm mwa a, nan dizyèm jou nan mwa a, e te di:
The word of Yahweh came to me in the ninth year, in the tenth month, and on the tenth day of the month, saying,
2 “Fis a lòm, ekri non a jou a, jou sa a menm. Wa Babylone nan te vin mete syèj sou Jérusalem nan menm jou sa a.
“Son of man, write for yourself the name of this day, this exact day, for this exact day the king of Babylon has besieged Jerusalem.
3 Pale yon parabòl a kay rebèl la pou di yo: ‘Konsa pale Senyè BONDYE a: “Mete chodyè a sou difè a. Mete l, e anplis, vide dlo ladann.
So speak a proverb against this rebellious house, a parable. Say to them, 'The Lord Yahweh says this: Place the cooking pot. Place it and pour water into it.
4 Mete mòso yo ladann, tout bon mòso yo: kwis ak zepòl la. Plen li ak zo byen chwazi yo.
Gather pieces of food within it, every good piece—the thigh and shoulder— and fill it with the best bones.
5 Pran mouton ki pi byen chwazi nan bann nan, e anplis, mete pil bwa anba chodyè a. Fè l bouyi fò. Anplis, fè bouyi zo ki ladann yo nèt.”
Take the best of the flock and pile up the bones under it. Bring it to a boil and cook the bones in it.
6 “‘Pou sa, pale Senyè BONDYE a: “Malè a peyi sanglan sila a, a chodyè nan sila gen lawouy ladann l! Lawouy la ki pa sòti ladann l! Retire ladann mòso pa mòso, san menm tire oso.
Therefore the Lord Yahweh says this: Woe to the city of blood, a cooking pot that has rust in it and that rust will not come out of it. Take piece after piece from it, but do not cast lots for it.
7 “‘“Paske san fanm nan vèse se nan mitan l. Li te mete l sou wòch vid la. Li pa t vide li atè a, pou kouvri li ak pousyè.
For her blood is in the midst of her. She has set it on the smooth rock; she has not poured it out on the ground to cover it with dust,
8 Pou l kapab koze gwo chalè ak kòlè k ap pran vanjans, Mwen te mete san li sou wòch vid la, pou li kab pa kouvri.”
so it brings fury up to exact vengeance. I placed her blood on the smooth rock so it could not be covered.
9 “‘Akoz sa, pale Senyè BONDYE a: “Malè a vil sanglan sila a! Anplis, Mwen menm, Mwen va fè pil la gwo.
Therefore, the Lord Yahweh says this: Woe to the city of blood. I will also enlarge the pile of wood.
10 Ogmante bwa a. Byen ranje dife a. Bouyi chè vyann nan byen. Mele epis ladann e kite zo yo vin brile.
Stack up the wood and kindle the fire. Cook the meat well and mix in the spices and let the bones be charred.
11 Epi mete li vid sou chabon limen li an pou li ka byen cho, pou bwonz li an kapab gen koulè wouj pou tout salte li yo kapab vin fann ladann, jiskaske lawouy li a fin manje nèt.
Then set the pot on its coals empty, in order to heat and scorch its bronze, so its uncleanness within it will be melted, its corrosion consumed.'
12 Fi a te fè M fatige ak travay di ke M fè; malgre sa, gwo lawouy li a pa t kite li. Kite lawouy li a rete nan dife a!
She has become weary because of toil, but her corrosion has not gone out of her by the fire.
Your shameful behavior is in your uncleanness. Because I tried to cleanse you but still you would not be cleansed from your uncleanness, you will not be cleansed anymore until I have satisfied my fury upon you.
14 “‘“Mwen, SENYÈ a, Mwen te pale. Sa ap vini e Mwen va aji. Mwen p ap ralanti e Mwen p ap gen pitye ni mwen p ap gen regrè. Selon zak ou yo, Mwen va jije ou,” deklare Senyè BONDYE a.’”
I, Yahweh, have declared it, and I will do it. I will not relent nor will I rest from it. As your ways were, and as your activities, they will judge you!—this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration.”
15 Konsa, pawòl SENYÈ a te rive kote mwen e te di:
Then the word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
16 “Fis a lòm, gade byen, Mwen prèt pou retire sou ou dezi zye ou yo ak yon sèl kou; men ou p ap plenyen, ni ou p ap kriye, ni dlo p ap vini nan zye ou.
“Son of man! Behold, I am taking the desire of your eyes from you with a plague, but you must not mourn nor weep, and your tears must not flow.
17 Plenn nan gòj san fè bri. Pa fè dèy pou mò. Mare moso twal long ou nan tèt ou, mete soulye nan pye ou. Pa kouvri bouch ou e pa manje pen fè dèy a.”
You must groan silently. Do not conduct a funeral for the dead. Tie your turban on you and place your sandals on your feet, but do not veil your facial hair or eat the bread of men who mourn for having lost their wives.”
18 Konsa, mwen te pale ak pèp la nan maten an, e nan aswè, madanm mwen te mouri. Konsa, nan maten an, mwen te fè jan yo te kòmande mwen an.
So I spoke to the people in the morning, and my wife died in the evening. In the morning I did what I had been commanded to do.
19 Pèp la te mande m: “Èske ou p ap di nou kisa sa vle di ke ou ap aji konsa?”
The people asked me, “Will you not tell us what these things mean, the things that you are doing?”
20 Epi mwen te di yo: “Pawòl SENYÈ a te vin kote mwen. Li te di:
So I said to them, “The word of Yahweh came to me, saying,
21 ‘Pale ak lakay Israël: “Konsa pale Senyè BONDYE a: ‘Gade byen, Mwen prèt pou pwofane sanktyè Mwen an, ògèy a pouvwa nou an, dezi a zye nou, e plezi a nanm nou. Epi fis ak fi nou yo, ke nou te kite dèyè yo; yo va tonbe pa nepe.
'Say to the house of Israel, the Lord Yahweh says this: Behold! I will desecrate my sanctuary—the pride of your power, the delight of your eyes, and the yearning of your soul, and your sons and your daughters whom you left behind will fall by the sword.
22 Nou va fè jan mwen te fè a. Nou p ap kouvri bouch nou, ni nou p ap manje pen fè dèy a.
Then you will do exactly as I have done: you will not veil your facial hair, nor eat the bread of mourning men!
23 Tiban nou va sou tèt nou e soulye nou nan pye nou. Nou p ap fè dèy, ni nou p ap kriye; men nou va plenyen nan inikite nou yo e nou va plenyen youn bay lòt.
Instead, your turbans will be on your heads, and your sandals on your feet; you will not mourn nor weep, for you will melt away in your iniquities, and each man will groan for his brother.
24 Konsa, Ézéchiel va vin yon sign pou nou, selon tout sa ke li menm te fè, nou va fè yo. Lè sa rive, alò nou va konnen ke Mwen se Senyè BONDYE a.’”’”
So Ezekiel will be a sign for you, as everything that he has done you will do when this comes. Then you will know that I am the Lord Yahweh!'”
25 “Pou ou menm, fis a lòm, èske sa p ap nan jou a, lè M ap retire fòs yo nan men yo, lajwa fyète yo, dezi a zye yo e plezi a kè yo, fis ak fi pa yo,
“But you, son of man, on the day that I capture their temple, which is their joy, their pride, and what they see and desire—and when I take away their sons and daughters—
26 pou nan jou sila a, sila ki chape a va vin kote ou ak enfòmasyon pou zòrèy ou?
on that day, a refugee will come to you to give you the news!
27 Nan jou sa a, bouch ou va vin louvri a sila ki te chape a, ou va pale, e ou p ap bèbè ankò. Konsa, ou va vin yon sign pou yo, e yo va konnen ke Mwen se SENYÈ a.”
On that day your mouth will be opened up to that refugee and you will speak—you will no longer be silent. You will be a sign for them so that they will know that I am Yahweh.”
