2 Timote 3
1 Men konprann sa, ke nan dènye jou yo, tan difisil yo va vini.
This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 Paske lèzòm va renmen pwòp tèt yo renmen lajan, ògeye, awogan, blasfematè, dezobeyisan a paran yo, engra, san lafwa,
For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 san lanmou, san kapasite pou antann yo, medizan san kontwòl tèt yo, brital, moun ki rayi sa ki bon,
Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 trèt, enpridan awogan, renmen plezi olye de renmen Bondye;
Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
5 k ap kenbe yon fòm sentete, sepandan yo nye pouvwa li. Evite moun konsa yo.
Having a form of godliness, but denying its power: from such turn away.
6 Paske pami yo menm, gen moun ki antre nan kay yo e pran an kaptif fanm ki fèb akoz chaj peche yo, e ki mennen pa move lanvi de tout kalite,
For of this sort are they who creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with various lusts,
7 k ap toujou aprann e ki pa janm rive a konesans verite a.
Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.
8 Jis jan ke Jannès ak Jambrès te opoze a Moïse la, konsa moun sa yo opoze verite a; lèzòm ak lespri konwonpi, ki rejte sa ki konsène lafwa a.
Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, rejected as concerning the faith.
9 Men yo p ap fè plis pwogrè, paske foli yo va parèt klè a tout moun, jis jan ke foli a Jannès ak Jambrès te osi parèt a klè a.
But they shall proceed no further: for their folly shall be evident to all men, as theirs also was.
10 Alò, ou te swiv ansègnman mwen an, kondwit, bi, lafwa, pasyans lanmou, pèseverans
But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
11 pèsekisyon, ak soufrans, jan sa te rive m Antioche, Icone ak Lystre la. A la pèsekisyon m te andire, e nan yo tout, Senyè a te delivre m!
Persecutions, afflictions, which came to me at Antioch, at Iconium, at Lystra; what persecutions I endured: but out of them all the Lord delivered me.
12 Vrèman, tout moun ki dezire viv yon vi sentete nan Kris Jésus va pèsekite.
And, all indeed that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.
13 Men moun mechan ak moun twonpè yo va avanse soti nan mal pou rive nan pi mal nan twonpe moun ak vin twonpe.
But evil men and seducers shall become worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.
14 Sepandan, ou menm kontinye nan bagay ke ou te aprann yo, e vin konvenk, nan konnen de ki moun ou te aprann yo a.
But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing from whom thou hast learned them;
15 Depi timoun, ou te konnen Lekriti sakre yo, ki kapab bay ou sajès ki mennen moun a sali atravè lafwa ki nan Kris Jésus a.
And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.
16 Tout lekriti sen an enspire pa Bondye, e pwofitab pou enstwi, pou konvenk, pou korije, e pou fòme moun nan ladwati.
All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:
17 Konsa, chak moun Bondye a kapab konplè e byen prepare pou tout bon zèv.
That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished to all good works.
