2 Korint 10
1 Koulye a, mwen menm Paul, mwen ankouraje nou pa imilite ak dousè a Kris la—mwen menm ki enb lè mwen fasafas avèk nou, men plen ak kouraj anvè nou lè m absan!
BUT I Paulos beseech of you by the peacefulness and humility of the Meshiha, (I) who also in presence am humble with you, but while far off am confident over you,
2 Mwen mande ke lè m prezan ke m p ap oblije vin parèt ak menm fòs kouraj la pou mwen ta vin advèsè kèk moun ki konsidere nou tankou moun ki te mache selon lachè.
beseech of you, that when I come I may not be constrained with the confidence I have to be bold, as I think, over those men who imagine that we walk in the flesh.
3 Paske malgre ke n ap mache nan lachè, nou pa fè lagè selon lachè,
For if we walk in the flesh, yet we war not according to the flesh.
4 paske zam lagè nou yo pa nan lachè, men ranpli ak pwisans Bondye pou detwi barikad yo.
For the armour of our warfare is not of the flesh, but of the power of Aloha; and by it we cast down the strong-holds of rebels,
5 N ap detwi tout sipozisyon avèk tout ògèy ki vin leve kont konesans Bondye a, e nou ap mennen tout panse kaptif yo nan obeyisans a Kris la.
and demolish reasonings and every lofty thing that is exalted against the knowledge of Aloha, and captivate all thoughts unto the obedience of the Meshiha.
6 Konsa, nou prè pou pini tout dezobeyisans, lè obeyisans nou an fin ranpli.
And we are prepared to execute the punishment of those who obey not, when your obedience shall be fulfilled.
7 Nou menm ap gade bagay yo kòmsi, pa deyò. Si nenpòt moun gen konfyans nan tèt li ke li pou Kris, kite li konsidere sa ankò nan lespri li, ke menm jan li nan Kris la nou menm osi, nou nan Li.
Do we regard persons? If any man confide in himself that he is of the Meshiha, let this one know of himself, that as he is of the Meshiha, so also are we.
8 Paske menm si m ta vante tèt mwen yon ti kras anplis pou otorite nou ke Senyè a te bay pou bati nou menm e pa pou detwi nou, mwen p ap wont.
For if I should boast somewhat more of the authority which our Lord hath given me, I should not blush; because for your edification he gave it to me, and not for your destruction.
9 Paske mwen pa vle li sanble ke m ta entimide nou pa lèt mwen yo.
But I insist not, that I may not be considered as one who would terrify you by my epistles.
10 Paske, yo di: “Lèt li yo lou e dyanm, men prezans pèsonèl li pa enpresyonan ditou, e jan li pale vrèman meprizab.”
For there are men who say, His epistles are weighty and forcible; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech contemptible.
11 Kite yon moun konsa konsidere sa; ke sa nou ye nan lèt nou yo lè nou absan, se menm moun nan ke nou ye nan aksyon lè nou la.
But he who after this manner speaks, shall conclude that what we are by the word of our epistle when absent, so are we in the deed when we are present.
12 Paske nou p ap tante sèvi kouraj nou pou konpare oswa klase nou menm avèk kèk nan sila ki rekòmande tèt yo. Men lè yo mezire tèt yo ak yo menm e konpare tèt yo avèk yo menm, yo san konprann.
For we dare not value or compare ourselves with those who glorify themselves; but because they compare themselves with themselves, they do not understand.
13 Men nou p ap vante tèt nou plis ke mezi nou, men nan domèn kote Bondye te chwazi nou kòm yon mezi, pou menm rive kote nou ye a.
For we do not boast beyond our measure, but in the measure of the boundary which Aloha hath apportioned to us, that we might come also unto you.
14 Paske nou p ap lonje depase kapasite nou menm, kòmsi li pa t rive bò kote nou, paske nou te premye pou vini jis rive kote ou nan levanjil Kris la.
For it is not as not reaching to you we extend ourselves; for unto you we come with the gospel of the Meshiha.
15 Nou p ap vante tèt nou depase mezi pa nou, kòmsi, nan zèv a lòt moun, men avèk espwa ke pandan lafwa nou ap grandi, nou va, nan mezi nou, agrandi menm plis akoz nou menm.
Neither boast we beyond our measure in the labour of others; but we have hope, that with the increase of your faith, we shall be enlarged according to our measure;
16 Konsa nou ka preche levanjil menm nan zòn pi lwen nou yo, e pa vante tèt nou nan travay ki te fèt nan landwa a yon lòt.
and be progressive also beyond you to evangelize. Not as within the measure of others in the things that are prepared will we glory.
17 Men “Sila k ap vante tèt li a, kite li vante tèt li nan Senyè a.”
But let him who glorieth glory in the Lord.
18 Paske se pa sila ki rekòmande tèt li a ki apwouve, men se sila ki rekòmande pa Bondye a.
For it is not he who glorifieth himself who is approved, but he who is glorified of the Lord.
