Revelasyon 6
1 Apre sa mwen wè ti Mouton an kase yonn nan sèt sele yo. Lè sa a, mwen tande yonn nan kat bèt vivan yo pale, ou ta di yon kout loraj. Li di: Vini non!
And Y sai, that the lomb hadde openyd oon of the seuene seelis. And Y herde oon of the foure beestis seiynge, as a vois of thundur, Come, and se.
2 Mwen gade, mwen wè yon chwal blan. Moun ki te moute l' la te kenbe yon banza nan men l'. Yo ba l' yon kouwòn met sou tèt li. Li pati tankou yon moun ki fin genyen yon batay men ki soti pou l' genyen ankò.
And Y sai, and lo! a white hors; and he that sat on hym hadde a bouwe, and a coroun was youun to hym. And he wente out ouercomynge, that he schulde ouercome.
3 Apre sa, ti Mouton an kase dezyèm sele a. Mwen tande dezyèm bèt vivan an ki t'ap di: Vini non!
And whanne he hadde openyd the secounde seel, I herde the secounde beest seiynge, Come `thou, and se.
4 Lè sa a, yon lòt chwal koulè wouj soti. Moun ki te moute l' la resevwa pouvwa pou l' mete lagè toupatou sou latè, pou lèzòm ka yonn touye lòt. Yo ba l' yon gwo nepe kenbe nan men li.
And another reed hors wente out; and it was youun to hym that sat on hym, that he schulde take pees fro the erthe, and that thei sle to gidere hem silf; and a greet swerd was youun to hym.
5 Apre sa, ti Mouton an kase twazièm sele a. Mwen tande twazièm bèt vivan an ki t'ap di: Vini non! Mwen gade, mwen wè yon chwal nwa. Moun ki te moute l' la te kenbe yon balans nan men li.
And whanne he hadde openyd the thridde seel, Y herde the thridde beest seiynge, Come thou, and se. And lo! a blak hors; and he that sat on hym hadde a balaunce in his hond.
6 Mwen tande yon vwa ki soti nan mitan kat bèt vivan yo ki t'ap di: Yon mezi diri pou yon jounen travay. Twa mezi pitimi pou yon jounen travay. Men, pa manyen ni lwil la ni diven an.
And Y herde `as a vois in the myddil of the foure beestis, seiynge, A bilibre of wheete for a peny, and thre bilibris of barli for a peny; and hirte thou not wyn, ne oile.
7 Apre sa, ti Mouton an kase katriyèm sele a. Mwen tande katriyèm bèt vivan an ki t'ap di: Vini non!
And whanne he hadde openyd the fourthe seel, Y herde a vois of the `foure beestis, seiynge, Come thou, and se.
8 Mwen gade, mwen wè yon chwal koulè vèt. Moun ki te moute l' la te rele lanmò. Moun ki kanpe pou kote mò yo ye a t'ap mache dèyè li. Yo ba yo pouvwa sou yon ka (1/4) latè a, pou yo touye moun ak nepe, ak grangou, ak maladi, ak bèt nan bwa ki sou latè. (Hadēs g86)
And lo! a pale hors; and the name was Deth to hym that sat on hym, and helle suede hym. And power was youun to hym on foure partis of the erthe, for to sle with swerd, and with hungur, and with deth, and with beestis of the erthe. (Hadēs g86)
9 Apre sa, ti Mouton an kase senkièm sele a. Lè sa a, mwen wè anba lotèl la nanm tout moun yo te touye paske yo t'ap fè konnen Pawòl Bondye a, paske yo t'ap di verite a jan l' ye a.
And whanne he hadde opened the fyuethe seel, Y say vndur the auter the soulis of men slayn for the word of God, and for the witnessing that thei hadden.
10 Yo t'ap rele byen fò: O Mèt, ou menm ki sen, ou menm ki verite a, konbe tan ou gen pou tann ankò anvan pou ou vini jije moun ki rete sou latè a, pou ou vin peni yo paske yo te touye nou?
And thei crieden with a geet vois, and seiden, Hou long thou, Lord, that art hooli and trewe, demest not, and vengest not oure blood of these that dwellen in the erthe?
11 Yo ba yo chak yon rad blan mete sou yo. Apre sa, yo mande yo pran pasians pou yon ti tan ankò, jouk kantite frè ak kanmarad sèvis ki gen pou mouri tankou yo a fin kont.
And white stoolis, for ech soule a stoole, weren youun to hem; and it was seide to hem, that thei schulden reste yit a litil tyme, til the noumbre of her felowis and of her britheren ben fulfillid, that ben to be slayn, as also thei.
12 Apre sa, mwen wè ti Mouton an kase sizièm sele a. Lè sa a, yon gwo tranblemanntè fèt, sòlèy la vin tou nwa, tankou yon gwo moso twal nwa byen pwès. Lalin lan menm te vin tou wouj tankou san.
And Y say, whanne he hadde openyd the sixte seel, and lo! a greet erthe mouyng was maad; and the sunne was maad blak, as a sak of heire, and al the moone was maad as blood.
13 Zetwal yo menm t'ap sot nan sièl la tonbe sou latè, tankou fig frans tou vèt k'ap tonbe lè gwo van ap souke pie fig la.
And the sterris of heuene felden doun on the erthe, as a fige tre sendith his vnripe figis, whanne it is mouyd of a greet wynd.
14 Sièl la disparèt nèt tankou yon woulo papie yo vlope. Yo rache tout mòn yo ak tout zile yo, yo mete yo yon lòt kote.
And heuene wente awei, as a book wlappid in; and alle munteyns and ilis weren mouyd fro her placis.
15 Tout wa sou latè, chèf, kòmandan, moun rich, grannèg ansanm ak tout lòt moun, kit yo esklav, kit yo lib, yo tout al kache nan twou wòch ak dèyè gwo wòch nan mòn yo.
And kingis of the erthe, and princis, and tribunes, and riche, and stronge, and ech bonde man, and freman, hidden hem in dennys and stoonys of hillis.
16 Yo t'ap pale ak mòn yo ansanm ak wòch yo tankou ak moun. Yo t'ap di yo: Tonbe sou nou. Kache nou pou moun ki chita sou fòtèy la pa wè nou, pou kòlè ti Mouton an pa tonbe sou nou.
And thei seien to hillis and to stoonys, Falle ye on vs, and hide ye vs fro the face of hym that sittith on the trone, and fro the wrath of the lomb;
17 Paske, gwo jou kòlè a rive. Ki moun ki ka kenbe tèt avèk li?
for the greet dai of her wraththe cometh, and who schal mowe stonde?
