< Sòm 77 >
1 Pou chèf sanba yo. Pou Jedoutoun. Se yon sòm Asaf. Mwen rele byen fò nan pye Bondye. Wi, mwen rele nan pye Bondye, li koute mwen.
To the Chief Musician. On "Jeduthun." Asaph’s, a Melody. With my voice—unto God, will I make outcry, With my voice unto God, and he will give ear unto me;
2 Lè mwen nan tray, mwen lapriyè nan pye Seyè a. Tout lannwit m'ap lapriyè san rete, mwen pa ka jwenn konsolasyon.
In the day of my distress—unto My Lord, will I seek, My hand, by night, hath been outstretched and never once became slack, My soul, hath refused to be consoled;
3 Mwen chonje Bondye, m'ap plenn! M'ap kalkile, mwen santi m' dekouraje!
I remember God and I murmur, I muse, and my spirit swooneth. (Selah)
4 Ou fè m' rete je klè, mwen sitèlman boulvèse, mwen pa ka pale.
Thou hast held, watching, mine eyes, I was driven to and fro, and could not speak;
5 M'ap chonje tan lontan, wi, m'ap chonje lanne pase anwo yo.
I reasoned, Of the days of aforetime, Of the years of by-gone ages;
6 Mwen pase nwit ap repase chante yo, m'ap kalkile anpil nan kè m', m'ap egzaminen, m'ap di:
I remember my song in the night, —With my own heart, I commune, And my spirit, maketh search: —
7 Eske Seyè a voye m' jete nèt? Eske li p'ap janm kontan avè m' ankò?
For ages, will My Lord reject? And, not again, grant acceptance any more?
8 Eske Bondye pa gen bon kè ankò? Eske li p'ap kenbe pawòl li ankò?
Hath his lovingkindness, come to a perpetual end? Hath his word failed to generation after generation?
9 Eske Bondye bliye gen pitye? Eske lè li ankòlè li pa pran priyè?
Hath GOD, forgotten to show favour? Or hath he shut up, in anger, his compassions? (Selah)
10 Apre sa mwen di: Men sak fè m' pi mal ankò! Gen lè Bondye ki anwo nan syèl la pa menm jan an ankò?
Then said I—An affliction to me, it is, The changing of the right hand of the Most High.
11 Seyè, m'a rakonte gwo bagay ou te fè yo, paske mwen chonje bèl mèvèy ou te fè nan tan lontan.
I will remember the doings of Yah, Surely I will remember, out of aforetime, thy wonderful way;
12 M'ap kalkile tout sa ou te fè yo, m'ap egzaminen tout gwo bagay estwòdenè ou te fè yo!
And will talk to myself of all thy work, And, of thy doings, will I muse: —
13 Tout sa ou fè, Bondye, se bagay apa! Nan tout bondye yo, nanpwen ki gen pouvwa tankou ou!
O God, in the sanctuary, is thy way, —Who is a great GOD like Elohim?
14 Ou se Bondye ki fè mèvèy. Ou fè nasyon yo wè pouvwa ou.
Thou, art GOD, doing wonderfully, —Thou hast made known, among the peoples, thy might;
15 Avèk fòs ponyèt ou ou te delivre pèp ou a, pitit pitit Jakòb yo ak pitit pitit Jozèf yo.
Thou didst redeem, with thine arm—Thy people, Thy sons of Jacob and Joseph. (Selah)
16 Lè dlo yo wè ou, Bondye, dlo yo soti pè. Lè dlo yo wè ou, fon lanmè yo pran tranble.
The waters saw thee, O God, The waters saw thee, They were in birth-throes, Yea the resounding deeps were stirred;
17 Nwaj yo pran vide gwo lapli, kout loraj pran woule nan nwaj yo, kout zèklè fè yanyan nan tout syèl la.
The clouds, poured down waters, The skies uttered, a voice, Yea, thine arrows, flew hither and thither;
18 Bri loraj la pran woule nan syèl la. Kout zèklè klere toupatou. Tè a soti pè, li pran tranble.
The, voice of thy thunder, was in the whirlwind, Thy lightnings illumined the world, The earth, trembled and quaked;
19 Ou louvri yon chemen pou ou nan mitan lanmè a. Ou pase nan mitan gwo lanmè fon fon an. Men pesonn pa ka wè mak pye kote ou pase.
In the sea, was thy way, And, thy path, in the mighty waters, And, thy footprints, could not be known:
20 Ou pran Moyiz ak Arawon, ou fè yo mennen pèp ou a tankou yon bann mouton y'ap mennen.
Thou didst lead, like a flock, thy people, By the hand of Moses and Aaron.
