1 Pou chèf sanba yo. Se yon sòm David. Seyè, m'ap chache pwoteksyon anba zèl ou! Pa janm kite m' pran wont ankò. Ou se yon Bondye ki pa nan patipri. Tanpri, delivre mwen.
To the choirmaster a psalm of David. In you O Yahweh I have taken refuge may not I be ashamed for ever in righteousness your deliver me.
2 Panche zòrèy ou bò kote m', prese vin delivre mwen. Se ou menm ki twou wòch kote m' ka jwenn pwoteksyon. Se ou menm ki pou sèvi m' ranpa. Se ou menm ki pou delivre m'.
Incline to me - ear your quickly deliver me become of me - a rock of refuge a house of strongholds to save me.
3 Se ou ki tout pwoteksyon mwen, tout defans mwen. Tanpri, dirije m', kondi m' poutèt non ou pote a.
For [are] rock my and stronghold my you and for [the] sake of name your you guide me and you lead me.
4 Pa kite m' tonbe nan pèlen yo tann pou mwen an. Se ou menm k'ap pwoteje m'.
You will bring out me from [the] net which people have hidden for me for you [are] place of refuge my.
5 Mwen renmèt lespri mwen nan men ou. W'a delivre m', Seyè, paske ou se yon Bondye ki kenbe pawòl li.
In hand your I entrust spirit my you have redeemed me O Yahweh God of faithfulness.
6 Ou rayi moun k'ap adore zidòl. Pou mwen menm, tout konfyans mwen se nan ou li ye.
I hate those [who] keep vanities of falsehood and I to Yahweh I trust.
7 M'ap kontan, m'ap fè fèt, paske ou renmen m'. Ou wè jan m'ap soufri, ou konnen nan ki pwoblèm mwen ye.
I will rejoice and I will be glad in covenant loyalty your that you saw affliction my you knew [the] troubles of self my.
8 Ou pa kite lènmi m' yo mete men sou mwen, ou mete m' yon kote pou anyen pa rive m'.
And not you delivered up me in [the] hand of an enemy you made stand in roomy place feet my.
9 Gen pitye pou mwen, Seyè, paske mwen anba tray. Figi m' fin rale, mwen kagou. Kò m' ap fin deperi afòs mwen gen lapenn.
Show favor to me O Yahweh for it is distress to me it has wasted away with grief eye my being my and belly my.
10 Mwen pase tout lavi m' ap soufri, se tout tan m'ap plenn. Mwen santi m'ap febli paske mwen fè twòp move bagay. Tout zo nan kò m' ap fè m' mal.
For they have wasted away in sorrow life my and years my with groaning it has failed by iniquity my strength my and bones my they have wasted away.
11 Tout lènmi m' yo ap pase m' nan rizib. Vwazen m' yo ap pase m' nan betiz. Tout moun ki konnen m' yo pè m'. Lè yo wè m' nan lari, yo kouri pou mwen.
From all opposers my I have become a reproach and to neighbors my - exceedingly and a dread to acquaintances my [those who] see me in the street they flee from me.
12 Tout moun gen tan bliye m', tankou si m' te mouri deja. Mwen tankou yon vye bagay yo voye jete.
I have been forgotten like a dead [person] from [the] heart I have become like a vessel [which] is destroyed.
13 Mwen tande jan anpil moun ap pale m' mal. Kote m' pase mwen pè. Yo mete tèt yo ansanm sou do m', y'ap fè konplo pou yo touye m'.
For I have heard - [the] slander of many [people] terror [is] from around about when they seated themselves together on me to take life my they plotted.
14 Men, Seyè, se nan ou mwen mete tou konfyans mwen. Se ou ki Bondye mwen.
And I - on you I rely O Yahweh I say [are] God my you.
15 Lavi m' nan men ou. Delivre m' anba lènmi m' yo, anba moun k'ap pèsekite m' yo.
[are] in Hand your times my deliver me from [the] hand of enemies my and from pursuers my.
16 Se sèvi m'ap sèvi ou, tanpri, fè m' santi ou la avèk mwen. Delivre m', paske ou renmen m'.
Make shine! face your on servant your save me in covenant loyalty your.
17 M'ap rele ou, Seyè. Pa kite m' pran wont. Se mechan yo ki pou wont. Se pou yo mouri san di krik. (Sheol h7585)
O Yahweh may not I be ashamed for I have called out to you may they be ashamed wicked [people] may they be silent to Sheol. (Sheol h7585)
18 Se pou yo rete san pale, moun sa yo k'ap bay manti, tout moun sa yo k'ap fè grandizè yo, k'ap fè awogans, k'ap pale mal sou moun k'ap mache dwat devan Bondye yo.
May they be dumb lips of falsehood which speak on [the] righteous arrogance with pride and contempt.
19 Ala bon yo bon, bagay ou kenbe an rezèv pou moun ki gen krentif pou ou! Ala bèl yo bèl, bagay ou fè devan tout moun, lè w'ap pwoteje moun k'ap chache pwoteksyon anba zèl ou!
How! great [is] goodness your which you have stored up for [those] fearing you [which] you have done for [those who] take refuge in you before [the] children of humankind.
20 Ou kenbe yo la devan je ou, pou ou ka pwoteje yo anba moun k'ap pèsekite yo. Ou kache yo lakay ou pou yo pa fini ak yo anba kout lang.
You hide them - in [the] hiding place of presence your from [the] conspiracies of man you hide them in a shelter from strife of tongues.
21 Lwanj pou Seyè a! Ala bèl bagay li fè pou l' moutre jan l' renmen mwen, lè m' te anba tray, lè yo te sènen m' toupatou a!
[be] blessed Yahweh for he has made wonderful covenant loyalty his to me in a city of siege.
22 Mwen te pè, mwen t'ap di nan kè m': -Gen lè ou voye m' jete byen lwen ou. Men, ou te tande rèl mwen, lè m' t'ap mande ou sekou.
And I - I said when was hastening I I have been cut off from before eyes your nevertheless you heard [the] sound of supplications my when cried for help I to you.
23 Nou tout k'ap sèvi Seyè a, se pou nou renmen l'. Wi, Seyè a pwoteje tout moun ki kenbe fèm nan li. Men, se pa ti pini l'ap pini moun k'ap vante tèt yo.
Love Yahweh O all faithful [people] his faithful [people] [is] preserving Yahweh and [is] repaying on excess [one who] does pride.
24 Nou tout ki met espwa nou nan Seyè a, pran kouraj, kenbe fèm.
Be strong so may it show strength heart your O all those [who] wait for Yahweh.
