Ezayi 31
1 Madichon pou moun k'ap desann peyi Lejip al chache sekou! Yo mete konfyans yo nan chwal, nan kantite cha lagè, nan fòs sòlda kavalye. Yo pa dòmi reve Bondye pèp Izrayèl la ki yon Bondye apa. Yo pa chache pwoteksyon bò Seyè a.
Woe to those who go down to Egypt for help, and rely on horses, and trust in chariots because they are many, and in horsemen because they are very strong, but they do not look to the Holy One of Israel, and they do not seek YHWH.

For thus says YHWH to me, "As the lion and the young lion growling over his prey, if a multitude of shepherds is called together against him, will not be dismayed at their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them, so YHWH of hosts will come down to fight on Mount Zion and on its heights.

6 Nou menm pèp Izrayèl, nou te vire do ban mwen, nou te kenbe tèt ak mwen anpil. Koulye a, tounen vin jwenn mwen!

7 Jou sa a, n'a voye jete tout bann vye zidòl nou te fè an ajan ak an lò ak men plen san nou yo.
