< Travay 15 >

1 Kèk mesye soti nan peyi Jide rive lavil Antiòch. Yo t'ap moutre frè yo yon bann bagay, yo t'ap di: Bondye p'ap kapab delivre nou si yo pa sikonsi nou, jan lalwa Moyiz mande l' la.
And certain ones having come down from Judea were teaching the brothers that Only unless (you shall become circumcised *N(k)O*) according to the custom (*no*) of Moses, [then] not you are able to be saved.
When was hapening (then *N(k)O*) commotion and (controversy *N(k)O*) no small by Paul and Barnabas with them they appointed to go up Paul and Barnabas and certain others out from them to the apostles and elders to Jerusalem about question this.
3 Se legliz la ki te voye yo fè vwayaj sa a. Yo pase nan Finisi ak nan Samari.
They indeed therefore having been sent forward by the church were passing through (both *no*) Phoenicia and Samaria relating in detail the conversion of the Gentiles and they were bringing joy great to all the brothers.
4 Lè yo rive Jerizalèm, tout legliz la, apòt yo ak chèf fanmi yo te byen resevwa yo. Pòl ak Banabas rakonte moun Jerizalèm yo tou sa Bondye te ba yo pouvwa fè pou li.
Having come then to Jerusalem (they were received by *N(k)O*) the church and the apostles and the elders, They declared then how much God did with them.
5 Se lè sa a kèk disip, ansyen patizan farizyen yo, kanpe, yo di: Se pou n' sikonsi moun lòt nasyon yo tou.
Rose up now certain of those of the sect of the Pharisees having believed saying that It is necessary to circumcise them to command [them] then to keep the law of Moses.
6 Apòt yo ak chèf fanmi yo sanble pou egzaminen keksyon an.
Were gathered together (then *N(k)O*) the apostles and the elders to understand about matter this.
7 Lè yo fin diskite kont yo, Pyè kanpe, li di yo: Frè m' yo, nou konnen ki jan, depi lontan, Bondye te chwazi m' nan nou tout pou m' anonse bon nouvèl la bay moun lòt nasyon yo, pou yo menm tou, yo ka tande l' pou yo rive kwè nan Bondye.
Of much now (controversy *N(k)O*) having taken place, having risen up Peter said to them; Men brothers, you yourselves know that from days early among (you *N(K)O*) chose God through the mouth of mine to hear the Gentiles the word of the gospel and to believe.
And the heart-knowing God bore witness to them having given (to them *k*) the Spirit Holy even as also to us;
9 Li pa t' fè okenn diferans ant yo menm ak nou menm: nou wè li lave kè yo paske yo te kwè nan li.
and no [thing] He made distinction between us also and them by the faith having purified the hearts of them.
10 Koulye a, poukisa pou n'ap seye fè plan ak Bondye konsa, lè nou vle fè disip yo pote yon chay ni zansèt nou ni nou menm nou pa t' ka pote?
Now therefore why are you testing God to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples that neither the fathers of us nor we ourselves were able to bear?
11 Okontrè, nou kwè se yon favè Jezikri fè nou lè l' delivre nou, menm jan li fè l' pou yo tou.
But through the grace of the Lord Jesus (Christ *K*) we believe to be saved in [the] same manner [as] they also. they also.
12 Apre sa, tout moun pe bouch yo, yo t'ap koute Banabas ak Pòl ki t'ap rakonte tout bèl bagay ak tout mirak Bondye te ba yo pouvwa fè pou li nan mitan moun lòt nasyon yo.
Kept silent now all the multitude and were listening to Barnabas and Paul relating how much did God signs and wonders among the Gentiles through them.
13 Lè yo fin pale, Jak pran lapawòl, li di: Frè m' yo, koute mwen.
After now being silent they answered James saying; Men brothers, do hear me.
14 Simon fèk esplike nou ki jan, depi nan konmansman, Bondye te pran swen moun lòt nasyon yo pou l' te ka chwazi nan mitan yo yon pèp ki pou pote non li.
Simeon has related even as first God visited to take out of [the] Gentiles a people (upon *k*) for the name of Him;
15 Sou pwen sa a, pawòl pwofèt yo dakò nèt. Men sa ki ekri nan Liv la:
And with this agree the words of the prophets even as it has been written:
16 Apre sa, m'a retounen. Se Bondye k'ap pale. M'a rebati kay David la ki te fin tonbe, m'a repare mazi li yo, m'a kanpe kay li a ankò.
After these things I will return and will rebuild the tabernacle of David which having fallen and the (ruined *NK(o)*) of it I will rebuild and I will set upright it;
17 Konsa, tout lòt moun yo va chache Bondye, ansanm ak tout nasyon mwen chwazi pou pote non mwen.
so that when may seek out the remnant of men the Lord and all the Gentiles, upon whom has been called the name of Me upon them, says [the] Lord (who *ko*) is doing these things (all *K*)
18 Men sa Bondye di.
known from eternity’ (is to God all the works of him.
Therefore I myself judge not to trouble those who from the Gentiles are turning to God,
20 Men, ann ekri yo, ann mande yo pou yo pa manje vyann bèt yo te ofri pou touye pou zidòl, pou yo egzante tout dezòd lachè, pou yo pa manje ni vyann bèt ki mouri toufe, ni san.
but to write to them to abstain from (from *k*) the pollutions of the idols and sexual immorality and that which is strangled and from blood.
21 Paske, depi lontan lontan, y'ap fè konnen lalwa Moyiz la nan tout lavil yo. Se chak jou repo y'ap li l' pou yo nan sinagòg yo.
Moses for from generations of old in every city those proclaiming him he is in the synagogues on every Sabbath being read.
Then it seemed good to the apostles and to the elders with all the church having chosen men out from them to send to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas, Judas who (is being called *N(k)O*) Barsabbas and Silas, men leading among the brothers,
23 Yo te ba yo lèt sa a pote ale: Apòt yo ak chèf fanmi yo, ki frè nou, voye bonjou pou tout frè nan moun lòt nasyon yo k'ap viv nan lavil Antiòch, nan peyi Siri ak nan peyi Silisi.
having written through [the] hand of them (these things: *k*) The apostles and the elders (and the *K*) brothers To those in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia to brothers among the Gentiles Greeting.
Yo pa t' manke boulvèse nou, yo pa t' manke fatige nou ak pawòl yo t'ap di. Men, nou menm nou pa t' ba yo okenn lòd konsa.
Inasmuch as we have heard that some from us went out troubled you by words upsetting the minds of you (saying to be circumcised and to keep the law *K*) to whom not we had given instructions,
it seemed good to us having come with one accord (having chosen *N(k)O*) men to send to you with the beloved of us Barnabas and Paul,
26 ki te riske lavi yo pou non Jezikri, Seyè nou an.
men having handed over the lives of them for the name of the Lord of us Jesus Christ.
27 Se konsa, nou voye Jid ak Silas ki va ban nou menm mesaj la ak pwòp bouch yo.
We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, and they through word [of mouth] are telling [you] the same things.
28 Pou Sentespri a ak pou nou menm, men sa nou jwenn ki bon pou di nan keksyon sa a: Nou p'ap mete lòt chay sou zepòl nou pase sa n' dwe mete.
It seemed good for to the Spirit (*no*) Holy and to us no further to lay upon you burden except these necessary things
Bondye ak nou!
to abstain from idol-sacrifices and from blood and (from a strangled [one] *N(k)O*) and from sexual immorality; From these keeping yourselves well you will do. Farewell!
They indeed therefore having been sent off (went *N(k)O*) to Antioch, and having gathered the multitude they delivered the letter.
31 Lè yo fin li lèt la pou yo, tout moun te kontan pou bèl ankourajman lèt la te pote ba yo.
Having read [it] now they rejoiced at the encouragement.
32 Jid ak Silas te de pwofèt. Yo pale lontan avèk frè yo, yo ba yo kont ankourajman ak fòs.
Judas both and Silas, also themselves prophets being, through talk much exhorted the brothers and strengthened [them].
Having continued then a time they were sent away in peace from the brothers to those (having sent *N(K)O*) (them. *no*)
34 Men, Silas te pran desizyon pou l' te rete.
(It seemed good however to Silas to remain here. *K*)
35 Pòl ak Banabas pase kèk tan nan Antiòch. Ansanm ak anpil lòt frè, yo t'ap moutre moun yo anpil bagay, yo t'ap fè yo konnen pawòl Seyè a.
Paul however and Barnabas were staying in Antioch teaching and evangelising with also others many the word of the Lord.
36 Kèk tan apre, Pòl di Banabas konsa: Ann al vizite frè yo ki nan tout lavil kote nou te anonse Pawòl Seyè a. Ann al wè ki jan yo ye.
After now some days said to Barnabas Paul; Having turned back indeed let us look after the brothers (of us *k*) in city every in which we have announced the word of the Lord, how they are.
Barnabas now (was planning *N(k)O*) to take along (also *no*) John who is being called Mark;
38 Men, Pòl pa t' kwè se te yon bon lide pou yo te mennen l', paske, dènye fwa a, li te pati kite yo nan Panfili, li pa t' rete nèt ak yo jouk vwayaj la te fini.
Paul however was considering the [one] having withdrawn from them from Pamphylia and not having gone with them to the work not (to take along *N(k)(o)*) him.
39 Lè sa a, yon diskisyon byen cho leve ant Pòl ak Banabas, tèlman yo separe yonn ak lòt. Banabas pran Mak avèk li, yo pran yon batiman, y' ale lil Chip.
Arose (therefore *N(k)O*) a sharp disagreement, so that separating they from one another, and Barnabas having taken Mark sailing to Cyprus.
40 Pòl menm chwazi Silas. Apre frè yo fin renmèt li nan men Bondye k'ap ba l' favè l', li pati.
Paul however having chosen Silas went forth having been committed to the grace of the (Lord *N(K)O*) by the brothers.
41 Li pase nan peyi Siri ak peyi Silisi; sou tout wout la li t'ap fòtifye legliz yo nan konfyans yo nan Bondye.
He was passing through then Syria and (*no*) Cilicia strengthening the churches.
