રોમનોને પત્ર 8
There is now, therefore, no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus.
2 ૨ કેમ કે ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્તમાં જીવનનાં આત્માનો જે નિયમ છે તેણે મને પાપના તથા મરણના નિયમથી મુક્ત કર્યો છે.
For the law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has freed me from the law of sin, and of death.
3 ૩ કેમ કે મનુષ્યદેહનાં લીધે નિયમશાસ્ત્ર નિર્બળ હતું, તેથી જે કામ તેને અશક્ય હતું તે ઈશ્વરે કર્યું, એટલે પોતાના દીકરાને પાપી મનુષ્યદેહની સમાનતામાં અને પાપના અર્પણ તરીકે મોકલીને તેમના મનુષ્યદેહમાં પાપને દંડાજ્ઞા ફરમાવી;
For what the law could not do, because it was weak through the flesh, God has done, who, sending his own son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for a sin-offering, condemned sin in the flesh,
4 ૪ કે જેથી આપણામાં, એટલે દેહ પ્રમાણે નહિ પણ આત્મા પ્રમાણે ચાલનારાંમાં, નિયમશાસ્ત્રની જરૂરિયાત પરિપૂર્ણ થાય.
that the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit.
For those who are according to the flesh, mind the things of the flesh; but those who are according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.
For the mind of the flesh is death; but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace.
7 ૭ કારણ કે દૈહિક મન ઈશ્વર સાથે વૈર છે, કેમ કે તે ઈશ્વરના નિયમશાસ્ત્રને આધીન નથી અને થઈ શકતું પણ નથી.
Because the mind of the flesh is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can it be.
Those, then, who are in the flesh, can not please God.
9 ૯ પણ જો ઈશ્વરનો આત્મા તમારામાં વસે છે, તો તમે દૈહિક નથી, પણ આત્મિક છો; પણ જો કોઈને ખ્રિસ્તનો આત્મા નથી, તો તે ખ્રિસ્તનો નથી.
But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now, if any one has not the Spirit of Christ, he is not his.
But if Christ is in you, the body is dead, on account of sin, but the Spirit is life, on account of righteousness.
11 ૧૧ જેમણે ઈસુને મરણમાંથી સજીવન કર્યા, તેમનો આત્મા જો તમારામાં વસે છે, તો જેણે ખ્રિસ્ત ઈસુને મરણમાંથી સજીવન કર્યા, તેઓ તમારામાં વસનાર પોતાના આત્મા દ્વારા તમારા મર્ત્ય શરીરોને પણ સજીવન કરશે.
And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he that raised the Christ from the dead will give life to your mortal bodies, because of his Spirit that dwells in you.
Therefore, brethren, we are debtors, not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh;
13 ૧૩ કેમ કે જો તમે દેહ પ્રમાણે જીવો તો મરશો જ; પણ જો તમે આત્માથી શરીરનાં કામોને મારી નાખો તો જીવશો.
for if you live according to the flesh, you shall die: but if, through the Spirit, you put to death the deeds of the body, you shall live.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God.
15 ૧૫ કેમ કે ફરીથી ભય લાગે એવો દાસત્વનો આત્મા તમને મળ્યો નથી; પણ તમને દત્તકપુત્ર તરીકેનો આત્મા મળ્યો છે જેને લીધે આપણે પિતા અબ્બા એવી હાંક મારીએ છીએ.
For you have not again received the spirit of bondage, that you may fear; but you have received the spirit of adoption, by which we cry, Abba, Father.
The Spirit itself testifies with our spirit, that we are the children of God;
17 ૧૭ જો સંતાનો છીએ તો વારસ પણ છીએ, એટલે ઈશ્વરના વારસ છીએ અને ખ્રિસ્તની સાથે મહિમા પામવાને માટે જો આપણે ખરેખર તેની સાથે દુઃખ સહન કરીએ તો ખ્રિસ્તની સાથે સહવારસ પણ છીએ.
and, if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with him, that we may also be glorified together.
18 ૧૮ કેમ કે હું માનું છું કે, જે મહિમા આપણને પ્રગટ થનાર છે તેની સાથે વર્તમાન સમયનાં દુઃખો સરખાવવા યોગ્ય નથી.
For I consider the sufferings of the present time not worthy to be compared with the glory that shall be revealed for us.
For the earnest expectation of the creature waits for the revelation of the sons of God.
For the creature was subject to frailty, (not by its own will, but for his sake who subjected it, )
21 ૨૧ અને તે એવી આશાથી સ્વાધીન થઈ કે સૃષ્ટિ પોતે પણ નાશના દાસત્વમાંથી મુક્ત થઈને ઈશ્વરના દીકરાના મહિમાની સાથે રહેલી મુક્તિ પામે.
in hope, that even the creature itself shall be made free from the bondage of corruption, and introduced into the glorious liberty of the children of God.
22 ૨૨ કેમ કે આપણે જાણીએ છીએ કે અત્યાર સુધી આખી સૃષ્ટિ તમામ નિસાસા નાખીને પ્રસૂતિની વેદનાથી કષ્ટાય છે.
For we know that every creature groans, and is in pain together, till now:
23 ૨૩ અને એકલી તે નહિ, પણ આપણે જેઓને આત્માનું પ્રથમફળ મળ્યું છે, તે આપણે પોતે પણ દત્તકપુત્ર તરીકેની એટલે આપણા શરીરનાં ઉદ્ધારની રાહ જોતાં, પોતાના મનમાં નિસાસા નાખીએ છીએ.
and not only they, but ourselves also, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.
24 ૨૪ કેમ કે આપણે આશાથી ઉદ્ધાર પામ્યા છીએ, પણ જે આશા દૃશ્ય હોય તે આશા નથી; કેમ કે કોઈ મનુષ્ય પોતે જે જુએ છે તેની આશા કેવી રીતે કરે?
For we are saved by this hope; but hope that is seen is not hope; for, what any one sees, why does he also hope for it?
But if we hope for that which we see not we wait for it with patience.
26 ૨૬ તે જ પ્રમાણે આત્મા પણ આપણી નિર્બળતામાં આપણને સહાય કરે છે; કેમ કે યથાયોગ્ય રીતે શી પ્રાર્થના કરવી તે આપણે જાણતા નથી, પણ આત્મા પોતે અવાચ્ય નિસાસાથી આપણા માટે મધ્યસ્થી કરે છે;
In like manner, also, the Spirit helps our infirmities; for we know not what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit itself intercedes for us, with groanings unutterable.
27 ૨૭ અને અંતઃકરણ તપાસનાર જાણે છે કે આત્માની ઇચ્છા શી છે; કેમ કે તે સંતોને માટે ઈશ્વરની ઇચ્છા પ્રમાણે વિનંતી કરે છે.
And he that searches the hearts knows what is the mind of the Spirit, that he intercedes for the saints according to the will of God.
28 ૨૮ આપણે જાણીએ છીએ કે જેઓ ઈશ્વર ઉપર પ્રેમ રાખે છે અને જેઓ તેમના સંકલ્પ પ્રમાણે તેડાયેલા છે, તેઓને એકંદરે સઘળું હિતકારક નીવડે છે.
And we know that all things work together for good, to those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
29 ૨૯ કેમ કે જેઓને તેઓ અગાઉથી ઓળખતા હતા, તેઓના વિષે તેમણે પહેલેથી નક્કી પણ કર્યું હતું, કે તેઓ તેમના દીકરાની પ્રતિમા જેવા થાય, જેથી તે ઘણાં ભાઈઓમાં જયેષ્ઠ થાય.
For those whom he foreknew, he predestinated to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the first-born among many brethren:
30 ૩૦ વળી જેઓને તેમણે અગાઉથી ઠરાવ્યાં, તેઓને તેમણે તેડ્યાં, જેઓને તેમણે તેડ્યાં, તેઓને તેમણે ન્યાયી ઠરાવ્યાં અને જેઓને તેમણે ન્યાયી ઠરાવ્યાં, તેઓને તેમણે મહિમાવંત પણ કર્યા.
and those whom he predestinated he also called, and those whom he called he also justified, and those whom he justified he also glorified.
What, then, shall we say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
32 ૩૨ જેમણે પોતાના જ દીકરાને આપણા સર્વને માટે સોંપી દીધો, તેઓ કૃપા કરીને આપણને તેમની સાથે બધુંએ કેમ નહિ આપશે?
He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how will he not with him also freely give us all things?
Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifies.
34 ૩૪ તેઓને દોષિત ઠરાવનાર કોણ? જે મૃત્યુમાંથી સજીવન થયા તે ખ્રિસ્ત ઈસુ છે, તે ઈશ્વરને જમણે હાથે છે, તે આપણે માટે મધ્યસ્થી પણ કરે છે.
Who is he that condemns? It is Christ that died: rather, indeed, that has risen, who is at the right hand of God, who also intercedes for us.
35 ૩૫ ખ્રિસ્તનાં પ્રેમથી આપણને કોણ અલગ કરશે? શું વિપત્તિ, કે વેદના, કે સતાવણી, કે દુકાળ, કે નિ: વસ્ત્રતા, કે જોખમ, કે તલવાર?
Who shall separate us from the love of the Christ? Shall affliction, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or the sword?
36 ૩૬ જેમ લખ્યું છે કે, ‘તારે લીધે અમે આખો દિવસ માર્યા જઈએ છીએ, કપાવાનાં ઘેટાંના જેવા અમે ગણાયેલા છીએ.’”
As it is written: For thy sake, we are killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.
Yet, in all these things, we are more than conquerors, through him that loved us.
38 ૩૮ કેમ કે મને ખાતરી છે, કે ઈશ્વરનો જે પ્રેમ આપણા પ્રભુ ઈસુ ખ્રિસ્તમાં છે, તેનાથી આપણને મરણ, જીવન, સ્વર્ગદૂતો, અધિકારીઓ, વર્તમાનનું, ભવિષ્યનું, પરાક્રમીઓ,
For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come,
nor hight, nor depth, nor any other creature, will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
