ગીતશાસ્ત્ર 99

1 ૧ યહોવાહ રાજ કરે છે; લોકો કાંપો. તે કરુબો પર બિરાજે છે; પૃથ્વી કાંપો.

The LORD reigneth; let the people tremble: he setteth between the cherubim; let the earth be moved.

2 ૨ યહોવાહ સિયોનમાં મહાન છે; તે સર્વ લોકો કરતાં ઊંચા છે.

The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all people.

3 ૩ તેઓ તમારા મહાન અને ભયાવહ નામની સ્તુતિ કરો; તે પવિત્ર છે.

Let them praise thy great and terrible name; for it is holy.

4 ૪ રાજા પરાક્રમી છે અને તે ન્યાયને ચાહે છે. તમે ન્યાયને સ્થાપન કરો છો; તમે યાકૂબમાં ન્યાયીપણાને ઉત્પન્ન કરો છો.

The king’s strength also loveth judgment; thou dost establish equity, thou executest judgment and righteousness in Jacob.

5 ૫ આપણા ઈશ્વર યહોવાહ મોટા મનાઓ અને તેમના પાયાસન પાસે ભજન કરો. તે પવિત્ર છે.

Exalt ye the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.

6 ૬ તેમના યાજકોમાં મૂસાએ તથા હારુને અને તેમના નામને હાંક મારનારાઓમાં શમુએલે પણ યહોવાહને વિનંતિ કરી અને તેમણે તેઓને ઉત્તર આપ્યો.

Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.

7 ૭ તેમણે મેઘસ્તંભમાંથી તેઓની સાથે વાત કરી. તેઓએ તેમની પવિત્ર આજ્ઞાઓ અને તેમણે આપેલા વિધિઓ પાળ્યા.

He spoke to them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.

8 ૮ હે યહોવાહ, અમારા ઈશ્વર, તમે તેઓને ઉત્તર આપો. જો કે તમે તેઓને તેઓના પાપોની શિક્ષા કરી, તોપણ તેઓને ક્ષમા કરનાર ઈશ્વર તો તમે જ હતા.

Thou didst answer them, O LORD our God: thou wast a God that forgavest them, though thou tookest vengeance on their evil deeds.

9 ૯ આપણા ઈશ્વર યહોવાહને મોટા માનો અને તેમના પવિત્ર પર્વત પર ભજન કરો, કેમ કે આપણા ઈશ્વર યહોવાહ પવિત્ર છે.

Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.
