ગીતશાસ્ત્ર 65

1 ૧ મુખ્ય ગવૈયાને માટે ગીત. દાઉદનું ગાયન. હે ઈશ્વર, સિયોનમાં તમારી સ્તુતિ થાય તે ઘટિત છે; અમારી પ્રતિજ્ઞા તમારી આગળ પૂરી કરવામાં આવશે.

TO THE OVERSEER. A PSALM OF DAVID. A SONG. To You, silence [and] praise, O God, in Zion, And to You a vow is completed.

2 ૨ હે પ્રાર્થનાના સાંભળનાર, તમારી પાસે સર્વ લોક આવશે.

Hearer of prayer, all flesh comes to You.

3 ૩ ભૂંડાઈની વાતો અમારા પર જય પામે છે; અમારા અપરાધો માટે, અમને માફ કરશો.

Matters of iniquities were mightier than I, Our transgressions—You cover them.

4 ૪ જેને તમે પસંદ કરીને પાસે લાવો છો જે તમારાં આંગણાંમાં રહે છે તે આશીર્વાદિત છે. અમે તમારા ઘરની ઉત્તમતાથી તૃપ્ત થઈશું, જે તમારું સભાસ્થાન છે.

O the blessedness of [him whom] You choose, And draw near, he inhabits Your courts, We are satisfied with the goodness of Your house, Your holy temple.

5 ૫ હે અમારા તારણના ઈશ્વર; ન્યાયીકરણથી તમે અદ્ભૂત કૃત્યો વડે અમને ઉત્તર આપશો, તમે પૃથ્વીની સર્વ સીમાઓના અને દૂરના સમુદ્રો સુધી તમે સર્વના આશ્રય છો.

By fearful things in righteousness You answer us, O God of our salvation, The confidence of all far off The ends of the earth and sea.

6 ૬ તેમણે પોતાને બળે પર્વતો સ્થાપ્યા, તેઓ સામર્થ્યથી ભરપૂર છે.

Establishing mountains by His power, He has been girded with might,

7 ૭ તે સમુદ્રની ગર્જના, તેઓનાં મોજાંના ઘુઘવાટ શાંત કરે છે અને લોકોનો ગભરાટ પણ શાંત પાડે છે.

Restraining the noise of seas, the noise of their billows, And the multitude of the peoples.

8 ૮ પૃથ્વીની સરહદના રહેનારાઓ પણ તમારાં અદ્દભુત કાર્યોથી બીએ છે; તમે પૂર્વ તથા પશ્ચિમ દિશાના લોકોને પણ આનંદમય કરો છો.

And the inhabitants of the uttermost parts Are afraid from Your signs, You cause the outgoings of morning and evening to sing.

9 ૯ તમે પૃથ્વીની સહાય કરો છો; તમે તેને પાણીથી સિંચો છો; તમે તેને ઘણી ફળદ્રુપ કરો છો; ઈશ્વરની નદી પાણીથી ભરેલી છે; જ્યારે તમે પૃથ્વીને તૈયાર કરી, ત્યારે તમે મનુષ્યોને અનાજ પૂરું પાડ્યું.

You have inspected the earth, and water it, You make it very rich, the stream of God [is] full of water, You prepare their grain, When thus You prepare it,

10 ૧૦ તમે તેના ચાસોને પુષ્કળ પાણી આપો છો; તમે તેના ઊમરાઓને સપાટ કરો છો; તમે ઝાપટાંથી તેને નરમ કરો છો; તેના ઊગતા ફણગાને તમે આશીર્વાદ આપો છો.

Its ridges have been filled, Its furrow has been deepened, You soften it with showers, Its springing up You bless.

11 ૧૧ તમે વર્ષને પુષ્કળ ફસલથી આશીર્વાદિત કરો છો; તમારા માર્ગોમાંથી સમૃદ્ધિ વર્ષે છે.

You have crowned the year of Your goodness, And Your paths drop fatness.

12 ૧૨ અરણ્યનાં બીડો પર તે ટપકે છે અને ટેકરીઓ આનંદમય થાય છે.

The pastures of a wilderness drop, And You gird the hills with joy.

13 ૧૩ ઘાસનાં બીડો ઘેટાંઓનાં ટોળાંથી ઢંકાઈ જાય છે; ખીણોની સપાટીઓ પણ અનાજથી ઢંકાયેલી છે; તેઓ આનંદથી પોકારે છે અને તેઓ ગાયન કરે છે.

The meadows are clothed with the flock, And valleys are covered with grain, They shout—indeed, they sing!
